I met Tom Hiddleston after I went to see him and Charlie Cox (Daredevil) in a play, he was really nice to everyone and spoke to me for a few minutes about the BBC show The Night Manager he did quite some time ago now. Seems like a genuinely nice person

I'm with Phil, with Hiddleston as representing mediocre actors getting by on looks and being inoffensive, they're so boring.
We now have actors and character actors, why? Because most are basically models who know a few show tunes, and some can actually portray character, as they actually have some! Sadly, the latter is increasingly scarce.

The origins of Room 101 go back to the 90s when it was a different way to interview older , much loved personalities and the pet hates were a way to get a bit more insight . The new version is more like a competition with Frank picking from the three guests . I expect the subjects are chosen to be controversial and it's for entertainment . There are some good moments - Greg Davies angry Spanish man springs to mind .

This idea that you can't say anything bad about anybody has to go. Criticism whether meant as an honest assessment to help improve or a personal preference is valid.
You can NOT like people and you don't have to hide it. What you can't do is mistreat people based on an unjustifiable assessment alone. Saying you don't like them is NOT mistreatment. If your action is simply to avoid and distance yourself then there is no problem. If you actively seek to do harm or injury to them then that's a different thing entirely.
Negative people dont need you to try and correct them, they wont accept it and you'll waste your time. They're already in a self imposed prison of negativity. Debate and challenge by all means but don't expect to chamge their mind.
You keep saying you get it, it’s just a show but not everything is a learning experience and what you are doing is contemplating your navel when it is a show where they do just have fun revealing their flaws and idiosyncrasies for comedic effect. No one was hurt in the making of Room 101.

Room 101 is often coming at it from an amusement angle. They take something that may have a sprinkle of truth or be a genuine peeve and try to argue the case for it being dropped into room 101 never to be seen again. Do not take it overly serious and try to go into it understanding that they aren't trying to be mean they are often (if they are comedians) trying to make their choice amusing. Phil Wang is a comedian and comedy writer.
I haven't seen anything of Hiddleston to make me hate him, but I have certainly felt the same way Phil does about other people.

Disney already retired Loki for us by producing terrible Marvel shows nobody watches. They're been retiring both their profits and their audience these last several years. It's been great to see!

room 101 the concept is to take something ,a thing or concept just things that annoy people and lock it away in room 101 , But you have to convince the audience that that were it belongs in there. Room 101 a reference to George Orwell's book 19884 don't think of this as venting but as debating .

I grew up on (David Badiel) & Frank Skinner so when I watch this, the one I'm most interested in and find myself agreeing with is Frank. Please check out some early Badiel & Skinner or some of their early Fantasy Football show, maybe not great for here, but in your own time, Frank is great! Sadly I just couldn't get behind Phil either, I like Tom as an actor and he seems a great person too; perhaps others see something I don't because some comments here are agreeing strongly with Phil so erm yep! Interesting!

I keep seeing Phil Wang on different shows, and have no idea why. What is he famous for? He must have had some sort of profile for producers to start sticking him on panel shows. If he's a comedian, he's yet to make me laugh.

I have no problem with Tom Hiddleston, but the point Phil was making by mentioning him, Redmayne, and Cumberbatch is the issue of class among leading Englsih actors, which is something, as Americans, you may not have picked up on. I have nothing against any of these actors, but there is a problem with the system.

I'm sorry ladies you may all think Hiddleston is cute however I'm with Mr Wang on this one , he is so unaware of his limitations it's cringe worthy , you may think I'm jealous of his looks however there are lots of men who are extremely handsome and i can't think of one off the top of my head that gives me the Arse ache like he does, his parents have failed to inform him that he really isn't particularly talented, and pretending otherwise tends to annoy the average person many of which may have many talents themselves one of which is self reflection, something which Mr Phil Wang mentions in this video clip .

I despise Woke as much as the next man but... what do you actually think it means? Critical Social Justice. These two very may well be woke, most 'be nice' people unintentionally are as their compassion gets abused, but they haven't exactly given a running commentary of their social and political positions to judge.

I’m not sure Holly Walsh’s career - the lady panellist in the clip - is going great guns. I went to see her a few years ago doing a stand-up routine in the back room of a pub in Guildford. To be fair, she’s a local lass and was heavily pregnant at the time, I think she just needed the money! Now I come to think of it, I’ve seen Dominic Holland do the same gig. He’s not short of a few bob, what with him being Spider-man’s dad!
