- I wanted to visit England for some time now. And I kept seeing ads about England - hearing people talk about England - I'm like England is calling to me. Now is the time to go. From the bustling streets of London to the area of outstanding natural beauty of the countryside, this was a rollercoaster of memorable experiences. Each of the cities have so much to offer, and here's what happened during my time in the largest country in the United Kingdom.

You pass on the left on an escalator because you hold the handrail with your right hand the dominant hand 98% of the time so stationary people are safer even if less able
A word of advice, don't come to the UK in April if you don't want rain. LOL. April showers bring forth May flowers! Spring in the UK is March, April, May. It's often wet and windy, or just extremely changeable/unpredictable.
What sort of weather do you expect when you travel at the very beginning of spring, yes it rains a lot just like northern states in the US. On the other hand summer temp's can often go into the 30s centigrade especially in the south.
@@doommonger7784it actually looks more like winter, uploaded in early spring. Look at the trees.
Bizarre, as usual, like many tourists, you did not visit the east, called 'Anglia' where the Angles settled, the original Germanic settlers on the Island and the place where England evolved from and where it got its name from ( even though Germanic settlers were a mix of Jute, Frisian, Saxon, Franks, etc. The counties, Norfolk and Suffolk, where that Kingdom, the borders have hardly changed in 1000 years. The city is Norwich. Incredible to miss this. Missed out on that.
Discovering the last bus is at 5:30 pm just after its gone past is part of the authentic UK travel experience.
Yes! It makes for all the adventure!! Super!!! haha 😂
Moving to the West of England from London, that was a culture shock. To be fair, there are buses up until past 10pm here, but not the route I wanted to use! And I have done Cheltenham to Bourton on the Water by bus.
Too true
Buses run all night. Even in the sticks Why 5.30pm?
No Robert, you weren't being racist. It's called banter, we appreciate it here in the UK and long may it reign. Well done you👍
WHEW! Sometimes people can't take banter so I was definitely second guessing on that. Now talking about the weather and fish n chips on the other hand... 😂
@@RobDeMann True. Some people can't take the banter. We call them melts! You done good.
@@RobDeMann oh the weather can be dreary for sure but lovely in the summer and tbh it did look like shit fish n chips but the dish itself is so good!
Why did you say that? What was racist about trying out a regional accent? Did you say it because you wanted to ward off any troll attacks on your speech? Sad that we have to monitor every word- I think the ‘sound of silence’ is upon us😊
He wasn’t in the UK. He was in England and that tells me you’re not British as you don’t even know what Country he was in.
What a thorough video for only 30 minutes. Don't worry about the clouds, it's authentic. It reflects the reality of a pretty country with some of the coldest temperatures in all of Europe and the resilience and good nature of the people.
Thank you! Appreciate you watching man
You wouldn't believe the difference in summer, still got the rain of course but the whole country becomes a blaze of a hundred shades of green
Ahh, BEAUTIFUL!!!
And don't forget the one day where its 40⁰c for litterally no reason
@@piercecowley255my sister was on a coach trip from the west country to Norfolk when that happened and some absolutely stupid bint of a woman demanded that all the windows were shut. And get this... the driver actually gave in.
@@piercecowley255 I remember, that was the day when we had very hot rain.
You may think of England as being a bit on the 'wet' side but apparently, if you commute to work everyday to work on foot, you will only get rained on 17 times in that year.
Glad you didn't just stay in London, we are a diverse little country, hope you enjoyed it ❤🇬🇧
Yes! It was a blasttt 💥 Thanks for watching!!
Lol
Absolutely, but just a shame you didn’t visit some more of the countryside. The Lake District, Northumberland, The West Country, Norfolk, The Peak District and more. However, a very busy visit in which you packed a lot! Good video.
Lots of white people when you get out London!
what a horrible ignorant racist comment@@alanmawson9601
You should have come in Summer. That's when the country comes alive, it's nice and hot, and everything is so green and lush.
Yes I would love to see the cities in the summer! Thanks for watching Keighlan!! Especially the Cotswolds and Canterbury would look lush
March winds and April showers, bring forth May flowers! Old English adage. We love it!!!
Not quite. last year was overcast and trash 75% of the summer
@lukeempty3386 well, yes. But on the occasion we do get a summer, they can be really nice.
@@keighlancoe5933 For sure
"The rain is a persistent bugger" You've clearly got the hang of British English when you can use the correct swear word in a phrase like that.
THE RAIN IS A PERSISTENT BUGGER!!! Another swear phrase to add to my collection. Thanks for watching David!!
@@RobDeMann be aware that such language is not to be used in front of prospective employers, clients, or in-laws. much disapproval may ensue
You may think of England as being a bit on the 'wet' side but apparently, if you commute to work everyday to work on foot, you will only get rained on 17 times in that year.
Though other places in Europe, like Slovenia, have a higher average rainfall. Portugal has as much rain as much of England but the north west has the highest rainfall.
@@ramadamming8498 Can confirm that Lancashire is the wettest county, no matter what those Cumbrians say!
Have to laugh when the met office declare "droughts" after 5 days of dryness. What about the other 360 days?!
One of the best tourist videos of my country I have ever seen. I am now 89 next month and have lived in the far South West of England for the last 40 years. I see many changes as you go around the towns and cities that I knew, a lot more art displayed these days which is good.
Looking at the trees in your photos it's winter or just before spring - it rains here in winter and particularly spring. Rains summer too but not quite so bad and it's warmer. It is what makes our green and pleasant land. Funny though, first two places were where I lived when young, Windsor and Oxford. Bath I know and Bristol is an hour up the road from where I now live. I lived for some years in London where I met my husband 54 years ago. I would like to say you chose some very good places to go to such as Canterbury and Cotswolds, all beautiful places. Liverpool is fun, loved the football. Only went there once because I wanted to take the ferry on the Mersey. I’m glad you enjoyed your visit, I enjoyed your video as I can no longer travel, old age has got me in it’s tentacles. I will look out for further videos from you, thanks for coming to see us.
I agree...Great video.. its nice to see how others see our country...❤
This is so wholesome Julie! Thanks for sharing - loved reading your experiences. Greatly appreciate you watching and observing the many changes around the towns and cities you've visited. Wonderful to have you - cheers!!
I agree it was a good video to show English cities x
I went to London in October several years ago. I actually like the cold weather. I don't like the heat, especially when there's no air conditioning. I understand that a lot of buildings in the UK don't have air conditioning, so I think I would have found it uncomfortable to visit in summer.
@@BomberFletch31 I don't like air conditioning in shops, so cold. Very hot weather is still rare in UK and if it does come it doesn’t last for long. Rain and low pressure is what it is mostly like, which is bad for an old lady with arthritis like me. This year it has rained and rained but if you look around the world it seems to have been the same in many countries. Floods everywhere.
Well done mate - we have had the wettest 8 months on record and I can say that never mind the tourists, the locals are pretty sick of the flaming wet stuff! But you definitely showed some true grit getting around! 😄
Thanks Gael! Yes I gotta go all in, can’t waste no time now on some silly rain!! 🤣
We’re all fed up with it but it keeps our land ‘green and pleasant’. Seeing it from the air makes one more grateful for the rain.
Well done, you have seen more of England in 10 days than most English people, great video. Keep it up.
Appreciate the love David! Thank you very much for watching, cheers!! 🍻
I agree. Well done to see so much and so many different places in our wonderfully varied country. Come again some day . Try Scotland too , and Wales. When in Stratford on Avon did you not notice the Royal Shakespeare Theatre by the river?
The best fish and chips are to be found at the coast, add lots of salt and malt vinegar for exra flavour. Buy them from a "chip shop" or "chippie" for fresh fish, pubs and restaurants usually don't have the freshest fish.
Thanks for the tips! Appreciate you watching!!
@@RobDeMann hope you had mushy peas with your fish and chips. You could be like Macmaaster on YT and also get curry sauce.
As a Yorkshire lass, I would say the north does it best. Especially, Bryan's fish and chips, Headingley, Leeds! Delicious. Thanks!
And get curry sauce or tartar sauce man god damn
@@tokenspirit6140 no no no lol up north they tend to have haddock and other fish. down south we prefer cod
You should come back again in summer and visit Snowdonia, Cardiff, Brecon, Tenby, Keswick, Ambleside, Edinburgh, Isle of Wight. The cities are great cultural centres but the countryside is best. Great trip.
Ah, thanks for the recommendations! Appreciate you watching, Darren!!
Yes come back and visit our country side villages. I live in the newforest and donkeys, ponies and cattle wonder round free.its lovely, nice walks through the forest also.😊
I live right close to Snowdonia . Biggest mountain in Wales. Plus used that location film some scenes for movies such willow and dragon slayer it does have movie history
If going to the Isle of Wight don't forget Portsmouth , hom of the Royal navy with HMS Victory , HMS Warrior and the Mary Rose all historic ships. from different periods.
If you visit Snowdonia make sure to call into Shrewsbury a beautiful medieval town. Lots of snickers to wander down 😊
What a fantastically motivated trip, packing in so much bang for one's Bucks. Well done you !
Thanks you! Appreciate the love, cheers!
Easily the best American vlog of England I've seen on CZcams... lovely filming, an honest narrative and such a great example of using our public transport system to explore the country despite the wetter than normal wet winter we have had this year! A pity you had to miss the magic that's spring in England but hey, very well done!
Appreciate your kind words Roger! Yes I aim to be honest with my narrative, it's my opinion. I was there right in the beginning of Spring but will have to make a trip there another time. Thanks for watching!! Cheers
Very well put together !
Holy SH*T: I didn't realise that I just watched a near 35 minute video! And I enjoyed every minute.
Holy crap: no way! That's super. Appreciate you!!
The Brits don't help themselves by perpetuating the myth that it's always raining. Some parts of the UK are indeed very wet but that is the west and North west because of the prevailing wind off the Atlantic. However London and other places in the south east England are drier than many European and US cities. I worked in Munich for a couple of years and it's far wetter than south east England. I went to the US a few years back and my wife said to a Boston local that its always raining in the UK. Boston MA has 20 inches more rain annually than the city we live in in south east England. It is however very cloudy in the UK which I think may be another factor in this misconception.
Thank you for clarifying this David! Much appreciated.
Essex has the same annual rainfall as Morocco! You get a lot of cloud at times. However this winter and spring has been and still is VERY wet, we are all fed up with it!
So sorry you had a poor example of fish and chips. They can be wonderful if the fish is very fresh, good quality potatoes are used and you put on plenty of salt, malt [ or pickled onion ] vinegar and tomato ketchup.
This is true but we don't get heavy rain that often. The rain is light but spread over more days of the year. However... I do live in the North West and it is definitely wetter!
I live in Manchester you are correct, the north-west is nearly always wet.
It's true, I lived in SE England for 10 years and I didn't find it particularly wet at all, lnfact summer from May to Sep is perfect.
Manchester United vs Liverpool is always the biggest game on the calendar.
And a great game at that!
Thank you for showing some of my home countries most beautiful bits. I'm glad you had a good time, thank you for sharing it with us.
Always a pleasure! Thanks for watching, cheers!!
Amazing you got so much done in such a short time! Glad you had fun, but sorry the weather was so unkind - now you see why we go on about it all the time!
We go on about it all the time - as you say. Because we can go on about it all the time. No point in talking about the weather in Hot Spain or Sunny California.
You`ve hit the nail on its head.
Cheers Charlie! Thanks for watching 🍻
You must have slept for a week on your return home. very much a whistle stop tour 🌧️ hope you found most of us hospitable 🤞🏻 London looks beautiful at night

@@RobDeMann It sure is!
Fabulous trip covering many of the places I would recommend a first timer in England to see. The fact you did it in ten days is pretty amazing. Excellent narration too; gentle, light-hearted and informative. Duly subscribed. ( from London)😉😉
HAHA LOVE THIS! Appreciate you watching man, cheers!! 🍻
I've lived in London for over 60 years, and my advice to anybody coming to England, is to come in the summer time, not when the place is at its most depressing.
Those clouds were depressing me and I live here.
That is a great idea! Unfortunately this was the time I was available but I had a super time regardless. Thank you for watching Lilly!!
@@RobDeMann when its 100f in London during summer its the best place in the world, nothing like going around London and day drinking in the hot English summer heat.
This - times 10,000
It's strange but you do know that getting wet doesn't make you ill or for that matter, make you dissolve. Imagine all those kids getting ill every single day, all day, because we played Football, proper Football, with our feet, in the rain!
A tip for anyone visiting England. If you are going to "Visit" as many Villages, Towns, Cities, in a day as possible and only look at the more famous attributes on show, just so that you can say "Been there, DONE that" and not "know" the places that you "Hit", is rather akin to trying to hit on as many women as possible in 10 days! You don't get to "Know" them, you don't get the vibe, you don't get the full ambiance, only fleeting glimpses, fleeting memories and, maybe, remember the names of some of the best sights on offer! !
Rain don't stop no fellow traveler! Appreciate this.
Of course that is true but for someone who is only here for a short time , they will have a better idea of the country if they visit many places and not just thde basic tourist centres. But even such places on the tourist route like Stratford or York wil give a better idea of the country that stopping in London all the time.
It’s been the wettest winter since the early 1800s apparently. Never known anything like it. But you did come in winter, so it was always going to be grey and wet at times Mr!
True true haha. Thanks for watching Andy! Appreciate it!!
Hasn’t it always been the wettest since the 1800’s!
I'm not quite sure why so many come here out of season, when persistent rain is more likely.
@@RevStickleback Maybe it's cheaper? (Certainly accomodation is likely to be.)
I am so glad I stumbled across this video. I cannot believe you managed to get so much done in just ten days. You saw so many places. I love London, quite an admission for a northerner from Durham) but I've lived in Liverpool, Leeds and Manchester too so it was great to see you've visited those places not so many tourists venture to. You can with all honesty now say you know England so much better than the average American visitor. I'm so glad you enjoyed it.
Appreciate the love Barry! I still have much to know about England haha. Another time for sure. Thank you for watching, cheers!!
You spent your 10 days wisely, excellent work, come back for more soon!
Thank you!! Appreciate you watching, cheers!!
@@RobDeMann Yeah, props for getting around so much. Dover and Folkstone aren't anything to write home about. It's the arse end of Kent, as you seemed to discover :) It's all adventures though.... well done for making it happen.
Dover Castle is great if you like that kind of thing.
It’s a pity that you didn’t get to see the war time defence tunnels hidden in the white cliffs of Dover 😮
Unfortunately we have had an unusual amount of rain this year, it hasn't stopped!! Glad you enjoyed our beautiful country.
Beautiful indeed innit haha! Appreciate this, thank you for watching!!
I'm glad you gave the rest of England a fair shake and not just stay in London. One of the best ways to see the country is hopping between the trains and watching the landscape change.
Thank you! I wanted to experience using the public transportation systems and viewing the many cities across England.
It's also fun, if you have a portable radio (use earpiece/headphones if on a train), listening to the local radio stations and hearing how the accents change!
The UK 🇬🇧 simply the best country in the world 🌍 👍
You should come also at Christmas time, London and other cities have so many amazing Christmas lights and decorations
What a match to be at, knocking the scousers out of the FA cup and derailing their entire season👍🏻

Genuinely a cracking video, young feller. Almost an advert for the real England, warts and all... As you saw, most people are genuine, helpful and pleasant.
The accents, confuse even Brits, sometimes... As others have said, it is especially nice in a decent summer. We get them every decade or so....

This is wonderful to read such positive remarks about UK. I was born in Margate Kent near Canterbury in 1947. Attended college in Canterbury. UK has a lot of history and I love just travelling over the UK. I now reside in South Wales. Thanks for your input. You did well.

The black cabs are not much more expensive but what sets them aside is they are safe. They legally have to take you a to b with no detour to c and for women they have been properly vetted. Don’t use Uber.
Hmm, maybe the pricing depends on where I'm going and per city? Ubers were relatively affordable and I'm been used to Ubers or rideshare apps coming from the states (don't really use taxis back home), so I was more comfortable sticking with what I was used to.
@@RobDeMann uber is on the verge of being banned AGAIN in London for really bad practices.. Black taxi cabs are much safer
black cabs are extortionate and that have to take you anywhere is a rule they ignore, try getting one to take you deep into south London no chance getting them to go to the Elephant used to be a bloody hassle
The side of the escalator/side of the road thing isn't a contradiction. For one thing, you could say, "On the road we move forward on the left, whereas on the escalator we move forward on the left," and the contradiction disappears. But in any case, the reason is the same one: the predominance of right-handedness. In medieval times people passed each other on the road on the left-hand side so that their right hand could draw a sword should they need to, which is the origin of driving on the left-hand side. and when it comes to escalators, people who need to hold on to the handrail will mostly want to do that with their right hand.
Ah ok, thanks for explaining Mark!
Glad I checked the comments first as I was going to post the same thing 😀
You beat me to it.
I have read that it was Napoleon who change from driving ( a carriage in those days or a troop of cavalry)) on the left to on the right just to be different, and all of Europoe followed as France had invaded most of western Europe anyway. . We Brits did not. We stuck to the old ways.
Well done, you obviously did a lot of research and a lot of walking. A very positive video, there is still so much more to see but you certainly did a lot with your 10 days.
Appreciate the love!! Yes I tried to show the whole parts of England all over. Next time will have to visit a lot of amazing places I've missed. Thank you for watching!!
You did absolutely the right thing Robert. There is *far* more to England than just London, interesting as it is. Places like York and Bath are also steeped in centuries of history and heritage. History is everywhere in England Robert. Not far from me, there is a private school in a small town on the fringe of the Yorkshire Dales. It recently celebrated it's 500th year... Leeds is England's second largest financial hub after London.... It's great you enjoyed your visit Robert. Feel free to come again.....
Appreciate the information Brian! Thank you for watching!!
You might have noticed that the trains also run on the left, but on rivers/waterways/canals they navigate on the right.
Thanks for pointing that out John!
As for the escalators, I always assumed it was because most people are right handed so it is natural to hold on with your right hand thus leaving the left side for passing
Makes sense, thanks for watching Tracey!

So sorry about the weather, it has been an abnormally wet winter/spring. There has been widespread flooding all over the country. It can always be a potential problem in this country but has been especially bad over the last few months. Apparently its been the 8th wettest winter on record!
Shame you didn’t like the fish and chips. Some places do them better than others, they always need to be well seasoned with salt and vinegar! And my choice is to accompany them with a pickled onion and a wally (a dill pickle).
Ahh I figured the rainy weather was a normal thing in England. And thanks for the tips for the fish n chips! I’ll try that out and perhaps I’ll tolerate them better haha

Great to see you showing Keble college in Oxford - often missed by tourists, but it's beautiful. It was so awesome to spend 3 years there studying.
Beautiful indeed! Thank you for watching!!
Always interesting to see your own country through the eyes of someone from outside. Obviously 10 days is not enough to do justice to more than the tourist hotspots. As others have commented it is worth heading further afield to other parts of the UK and Republic of Ireland too, spend a few days getting to know the place well rather than rushing to the next one. Some of the strangest places are where you get to meet people to talk to and learn a little of what their life consists of. Often in a pub at the bar....!
I could say the same as well! Wanted to get a feel for everything but yes wished I had more time to explore more in-depth. The pubs are awesome - met tons of cool people.
I love our little country. It’s so diverse. I know the weather can sometimes suck but March is not the best time to visit.
Thank you for making the effort to get out of London.
I’m a Yorkshire lass. Live in The Dales, work in Leeds and visit York frequently. It’s one of my favourite cities
Come back anytime x
I love England too! Yep, totally understand about the weather haha. Each of the cities were great, I had to have the full experience as possible. Thanks for watching, cheers 🍻
Your editorial is amazing Mr !! I like u a lot mr, will watch ur other vids dude
Appreciate the love Matt! Thank you for watching, cheers!! 🍻
Glad you came to Leeds…. We have lots of beautiful countryside around us too. Glad you enjoyed your trip, Shame about the weather.
All good! Summer is where it's at! Appreciate it, thanks for watching Tasha!!
You need to enjoy good, fresh fish and chips at the coast, well seasoned with lemon, salt and vinegar. Crunchy, pillowy fish batter, and hot, crispy, chunky, soft-centred chips.
Sorry about the weather. Our wettest spring for many years. We hated it too.
Appreciate the recommendations! No worries at all. Thank you for watching!!
you have to go to Whitby for a decent fish and chips...nowhere else will do
I’ve never seen anyone do a trip round England and go back to London every night. Usually people book a hotel room in the area they are visiting. But it seemed to work quite well. Great video.
I preferred to have a place I know I can go back to every night. In addition I brought a lot of stuff so it would have been difficult to carry everything to every city I go to. Less headaches for me. Appreciate the love! Thanks for watching!!
Thank you for visiting our Island and filming it so well. Cheers. 👍
Thank you for watching! Cheers 🍻
Londoner for over 30 years: the best commute I've ever had has been on the River Bus (or Uber as it's currently branded). Always get a seat, regulars chat to each other, and, best of all, you can get to enjoy a beer or two on board on the way home.
Was a wonderful commute - especially beautiful at night with the city lights!
I realise the lack of holiday time in the US forces short holidays. However 2 cities a day is insane, you didn’t get to experience anywhere properly.
I would have recommended 5 cities in 10 days so at least you wouldn’t do every day travelling.
For those who are not aware he will have been in each city about 2 to 3 hours maximum as each train journey would have been 2 to 3 even 4 hours,, only time really to take a photo and that’s no time to get to know a place at all.
Thats true Diane, this was the time I booked for myself and I wanted to cover a lot of parts of England with my railpass. A few-several hours per city sounds about right. If I had more time here I definitely would have taken my time better. Appreciate you watching!!
@@RobDeMann If you lived here, you'd get a min of 28 days paid holiday a year by law! Plenty of time for meandering vacations.....
HURRAH!! HURRAH!!
Glad you liked my home town Bath. We had a very wet spring this year so you've been particularly unlucky I'm afraid.
I had a lovely "bath" in Bath! Appreciate the love, thank you for watching!!
Woo what video ❤ and so much Beautiful full place ❤
Appreciate the love, thanks for watching!!
Glad you came upto my neck of the woods, the north west , as it's a fantastic part of the world, full of history and some amazing places.
As a United fan I'm also glad you saw them play, i would highly recommend going to a rugby league game if you ever come back to visit us, you can take a pint into the stands on matchdays for them and it's a great sport too
Appreciate the recommendation! Yes will have to see a rugby game for sure. Thank you for watching!!
This from the Met Office... "The UK experienced 55% more rainfall than an average April, with 111.4mm." falling across the month, making it the sixth wettest April in the series and the wettest April since 2012.
Many areas recorded more than their long-term average monthly rainfall, with Scotland experiencing its fourth wettest April in a series which started in 1836. It saw 148.9mm of rainfall across the month - more than 60% of its average and the wettest April since 1947."
Thank you for a different perspective on my country. And Folkestone (pronounced Foke-stun) my nearest town for shopping...
Glad you had a good time mate. 💜☮️
Appreciate it this information! Unfortunate to hear but the rain was really no bother - had a super time in England. Thank you for watching
Very entertaining vlog but I feel quite exhausted for you. Come back soon!
Glad you enjoyed Derek! I’m well recovered now haha. Yes will do 🫡. Cheers! 🍻
Thank you for YT algorithm for bring me here!! Thank you for showing us our lovely country
HURRAH HURRAH! YT algorithm doing its magic. Thank you for watching Gregory!
Bristolian here, and lover of D&B. Thanks for recognising that, the city oozes with creativity and a little rebellion. :) thanks for the kind words. Great video ! UTD fan also, that was a great game to just wander into holy shit nice one xD
Haha England was super! Thank you for watching
Got to be the best American UK vlog I've seen ca you actually ventured outside of London and the main areas. Hope you visit again and explore some decent places, next time come in the summer lol
Haha for sure! I had a wonderful time in England. Thank you for watching!!
You're a great tourist and I'm glad you saw so much and enjoyed it! (Sorry about the rain. And the plugs.) Glad you got to York--one of my favorite cities. And--OMG--you sat with the Man United fans in LIVERPOOL???!!
Old Trafford is in Manchester. As long as he wasn't cheering for Liverpool, he would have been safe!
Haha it's hilarious because I was just in Liverpool hours before the game and then I sat with the the Man United fans. Yes I definitely was cheering for Man United, not like I had a choice 😂. Good thing we won - amazing experience
Looks like some very interesting places and i would think that it must be amazing with the sun shining.
Legit dope. Go Jia!🎉
GOOOO JIA!!
Jia Pet
Being an impressionist or mimicing someone is not being racist.
I am English but I learn't loads from this video. They say that if you live in London and need directions, ask a tourist.
You may think of England as being a bit on the 'wet' side but apparently, if you commute to work everyday to work on foot, you will only get rained on 17 times in that year.
Thank you - appreciate you watching!
We always say St Patrick's Day in the UK and in Ireland, not St Paddy's. In fact the term Paddy is sometimes regarded as an abusive term when used towards Irish people. My grandad was Irish and would not have liked to hear anyone refer to the day as anything other than St Patrick's Day,
Ahh I understand!! I was not aware of that so apologies. Thanks for the clarification
Oh ffs, turn off the offense button. This is all we hear these days, someone forever offended and playing the oppression olympics. Even the Irish don't get offended at that. My mum's Irish and I get called plastic paddy by real Irish people and I laugh, not one bit offended by that, it's called banter. Grow a pair and stop being a little triggered pest.
Rubbish !
Plenty of people say
"Paddy's Day," and it's no longer thought of as a derogatory term.
If he took notice of all the woke BS that has ruined our country he would to scared to open his mouth !

Nice video Robert, I'm glad you enjoyed Bristol. Just outside of Bristol is a beautiful village set in a deep gorge. It's called
"Cheddar gorge" check out some videos on it.there are some reactors videos on it as well
@@matt01506 oh yh that's where the cheese is from
A very good video so glad you enjoyed our country and boy did you see a lot in such a short time.
Appreciate the love! Thank you for watching
Well done :), such an informative content and an excellent choice of music as well :)
Appreciate the love Helen! I thought the music was ok but I tried by best haha
You should have gone to Birmingham and the Midlands as well :) The music fit your video perfectly to me :)
Two cities a day should pretty well cover everything the UK has to offer.
Many beautiful places missed! But another trip for sure
This was awesome, can't believe you fit so much in in that time!
Ps if you come back, you will for sure find better (and fresher) fish and chips at the coast 😊
Appreciate the love Lauren! Yes I'm sure I will haha. Thanks for watching, cheers!!
You are the best tourist mate ,thanks for embracing us.
Appreciate the love and support Luke!
Glad to see you chose not just London to visit
Awesome video...cannot believe how much you did and the planning...hope you enjoyed England, now all you need to do is the Lakes, Devon and Cornwall and of course Wales, Scotland and Ireland ...you must be knackered...just one point our summers get hotter and hotter every year...😂
Cheers mate!! Yeahh I could have done Edinburgh but that’s for another time. DEVON & The Lakes were my spots but they were just too far from my itinerary 😞
Got to say, visit an Island on the east of the Atlantic Ocean, in winter and you’re surprised it rains?
Sorry about the fish and chips. If your cultural heritage sees fish as basis of your diet then fish and chips is going to be nothing to you. We eat very little fish in the UK, but most of it is fish and chips. Originally a cheap hot dish for the working poor. It is never meant to be high cuisine.
I went in early Spring but I'm no weather expert! Our winters/springs here are often sunny despite our rainfall/snowfall. Yes the food I've eaten growing up incorporates a lot of spices and seasoning so I guess fish n chips was just foreign to me. Thanks for watching, appreciate it!!
Well done for your organisation, you didn't seem to miss things ... knowing about the Dark Arches in Leeds is impressive.
It's commendable that you travelled to so many cities. One of the best travel videos of England by a tourist. If you want spicy food in the UK go for a curry; we love curry.
Appreciate the feedback Jason! Yes the curry is amazing, I love it too growing up haha. Thanks for watching!!
I can assure you fish and chips aren't tasteless if you go to a decent chippy! And don't let an Irish person hear you call St. Paddy "patty"! xD
Thank you! Yes I have heard about that being a really negative word :(. Appreciate you watching!!
That was a fascinating insight to how others see us. Welcome to England, glad you enjoyed your stay. You might fancy a return visit.
So pleased that you appeared to enjoy you stay in our beautiful country 😊
Was beautiful indeed! Appreciate the love, thank you for watching
