Current Run: Crusader (start with: a crusader avatar, increased chance of finding pious backgrounds, fortifiend mind perk free for everyone, pious backgrounds are 25% cheaper upfront and upkeep, but outlaws are 25% more expensive)
Seed = JAFLLZXGUN (5 factions & 35 settlements)
Legends Mod for Battle Brothers is the largest expansion-type mod available to the game. It contains plenty of new enemies, brothers, perks, magic, origins, etc. You can even play as the skeletons, a necromancer or even a druid, amongst many other starts. The sub-mods; World Economy, Layered Armour, Battle Sisters and Dynamic Perks add a lot of variety to the game (World-wide Magic and Theriantrophy are still a work in progress and hopefully will return in the future).
PTR is a sub/additional mod that strongly complements Legend's Mod for Battle Brothers. The mod adds an extra 100+ perks specialized, mainly, into two categories; background/profession related and weapon related. Not only are the perks extremely varied and provide tons of extra customization, you're enemies can also use some of them too!! (more prevalent on higher lvl/tiered enemies)

Have a nice time in your vacation Snowman! Quite excited to follow this solo run! Btw a couple of points: Avatars cannot be charmed, so you have nothing to be afraid of when fighting Hexen. Similarly, when you have only 1 bro, he cannot be Swallowed by Nachzehrers (at least in Legends).

Hey guys! I'm currently on vacation and streams this weekend are sadly not going to happen :(
I only had time to record this one video so I hope it's enjoyable! (my mic was turned off for ep6 of the PTR rangers so i have to record it again....soz :'(
Normal streams will resume next weekend at the normal times and I'll get back to recording the normal series when I come back from my vacation (monday morning AEST and season 8 will start very soon after I return :D )

Deus Vult brother! But sadly we aren't crusading the south much. The undead feel more like a witch-hunter, zombie movie style crusade :)
Yeah... that pattern thing is almost tailor made for this playthrough! xD
Yeah, pattern recognition is a godly perk for solo runs (and even normal runs, which is why they nerfed it a little over it's time in PTR)
I really like the perk mod you're using, but I wish it would override regular perks with their upgraded version. It just adds so much clutter to the screen and is confusing for people who don't know what perks are now obsolete
Legends and PTR add new perks to the game. They're not 'upgraded' perks so-to-speak and don't override the vanilla perks.
Vanilla perks are still very-much used in modded gameplay :)
Unfortunately, because PTR adds over 100 perks to the game, it does get complex and confusing.
My first PTR series, "PTR Park Rangers" explores the new perks better as it has a full party of bros and such.

I apologize that my comment did not convey what I meant effectively; I was referring specifically to perks that are explicitly upgrades to Vanilla perks, such as Battleheart from Underdog. I know those Vanilla perks are a must have! Also, I am definitely gonna be watching all your series now that I've discovered you. Top notch content!
Ahh, all good :) yeah battleheart is weird and has been nerfed alongside underdog in PTR I think.
In that regards there aren't many vanilla upgrades but that specific one is confusing if you find it on a bro with underdog.

Really wanted to play along side however the download for legends won't open so it's an incomplete download which means I can't play legends with ptr mod which is really sad times
Darn I hope it's fixable. I have a video on my channel that helps explain how to install legends so hopefully that can help get it working.

What all mods are you running ?
The major mods I do put in the description of all my vids (including the exact version of them that was run in the vid)
I do also use some QoL and accessory mods to assist my gameplay, including:
-more auto save slots
-show enemy stats
-armour indicators

i think steadfast is a must for solo
Steadfast is good, but being pushed around isn't the worst.
I'd say being stunned is definitely worse because you only get one turn and each turn you waste brings so many extra attacks your way :S
Steadfast reduces fatique cost of geting hit buy 90%

Tbh steadfast is only useful if you're getting hit by maces & staffs that have the extra fatigue dmg.
It won't affect the +1 fatigues from normal hits sadly :(
To account for the constant fatigue it's best to work with MoB and rebound so you can swing nice aoe's per turn regardless of the fatigue they put on you :)
i know 2 years too late but those perks really look too overpowered. feels like cheating
