Any bias in the longitudinal study given that the sample was drawn from a specific geographical location?

Greetings from a fellow scientist in NZ. Has your study of this cohort led you to change any of your personal habits? Diet? Exercise? I have noticed that at their 45th birthday, some looked 70 and others looked 30.
