I have been waiting for an appeal for two years now, is there any maximum time the VA can take?

Hello Carol! You're still looking good! I'm 70% PTSD, I want to know if I would be poking the bear if I applied for an increase for Sleep Apnea. I have been issued a machine.

I have poked the bear twice since I received my 100% P/T in 2014. I filed for migraines (50%) and hypertension (0%).

I filed for an increase in migraines when the VA had temporarily stopped C&P exams (March 2020), and I felt it was a perfect time. I figured the VA would perform an Acceptable Clinical Evidence (ACE) exam, which the rater did. A VA ACE exam is a “records only” review of certain disabilities you’ve filed for by a C&P examiner. I submitted a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) and five years of medical notes, and my claim was granted in four days. I also wanted a cushion to go with my 100%.
Yes, the VA raters have reduced some veterans’ percentages due to mistakes that were previously made and discovered when veterans continued to file for disability, and this is not always against the veterans. I know several veterans whose mistakes were made by VA raters that benefited them, and they received retroactive pay. I don't tell veterans to continue to file or not because it is an individual's decision.
My hypertension was presumptive under the PACT Act from Thailand. For my C&P exam, I received a phone call from a nurse practitioner from my local VA medical center. She asked a couple of questions and made several comments.

Why when you are going through chemo they still want you to prove that it's SC when the cancer started after you got out.
