The VA did not provide my C&P examiner with any of my 10 documents that I uploaded at the time of submitting my claim. I brought my entire file and the examiner typed almost every document into the computer during my exam. He said it was great that I brought them and that I made his job very easy. Last week, not sure how it will come back now.

Ours said that as well but still did not take into any consideration.

I learned in 2009 to take pertinent documents to my C&P exams. My QTC C&P examiner asked me "do you have any medical documents?"

Thank you for answering that. Once I get a copy of the DBQ I’ll know exactly what the C&P examiner stated. But for sure my statement explains what I can physically do before feeling tired or experiencing symptoms and based on what they rated me at, I believe they didn’t consider that evidence.

Had my combat ptsd exam with optumserve monday 22 april 24. During my exam I answered all questions put to me. At the end of the session the examiner asked if she could use my statement in support of a claim. She said my statement was excellent. I gave her my permission. She also said that there shoud be no problem getting service connected. She also told me if they rate me low or deny me to appeal it. I checked the status of my claim the next day and it indicated preperation for decision. Is this a good sign or bad sign?

The Hunters point nuclear stuff also reminds me of the C130 or whichever planes it was that transported agent orange that were given to the reserves and used into the early 80’s.

How long do HLRs take on average? Mine is still pending since October 5th 2023. Also after my HLR is complete and if i win it. Do they have to back pay me since my filing of the HLR (Oct 2023) or do they have to back pay me from my original claim (Nov 2022)?

After 34 months, 3 separate audiologists all finding the same, the VA decided I was service connected at 0%. I appealed the 0% and 17 days later and another audiologist they gave me 10%. Why was the first 34 months discarded and 17 days to change thier mind???? Feels like it was purposely done to not pay back months

Two questions: va says needs a clinically diagnosed under decision letter. Can they STRs?
Bladder cancer: is it true. The va needs keep the rating at 100% after the vet does in remission and then do a proposal to reduce and change your rating off residuals. The va says all needs to show urinary frequently at 10% but the issue is at 40%

Hello does DIC also apply TDIU ? I’m told if where to pass away from any condition whether service related or not, if it’s under tdiu it’s all counted in DIC, or DIC would still be favorable

Can you clarify? My husband's decision letter shows the VA veiwed his TERA Memo during the decision process. Does that automatically indicate thecmilitary concedes he was exposed to hazardous materials or participated in activith that risked his health or is it basic protocol that ALL people in the military have TERA Memos. Thank you.

My claim was for TDIU/70% PTSD and TERA was listed in the evidence . ?????? Strange VA criteria in making decisions. Must be new . I did get my 100% P&T, though. Semper Fi!

Hello, my husband was stationed at Loring AFB in ME from 1982 to 1985. For almost his entire duty at Loring there was asbestos removal, demo and construction being done in his dormatory while he lived in it. Loring is also on the Superfund list for asbestos contamination and found to have other ground, soil and ground water contamination of a long list of carcinogins and chemicals hazardous to kidneys and liver. He was serv- conn. for hypertens. with chronic kidney dis. last year. Do you think he is a candidate for getting approved under the PACT Act? Thank you.

My husband kidney was removed, and 20 years later, he was just service connected for it due to exposure of Tera. They only went back 2 months from the date the supplementary claim was submitted. Had to do another claim for compensation now. It's been a process

There are lots os co-sponsors on the MST bill. The bill was reissued in 2023, and still lingers in committee. I wrote my representative (Jamie Raskin), and heard nothing. What other course can I take?

I don't know why the BVA denied my claim for kidney cancer that I had last year. Is my understanding that it should have been presumptively awarded granted because I served at Camp Lejeune and was exposed to toxic water for a year! My DAV man is appealing it. But I have another attorney who's possibly going to represent me and I don't know what to do which way to go.

They should give every veteran a 100% total and permanent the day you get out they would save trillions.the spend more money to deny veterans then just paying them a 100%

    Why does VA hate veterans

    • @shepatown
      @shepatown Před 3 měsíci +2

IMO, the VA acts like a Workmans Compensation Insurance Company for the Dept of Defense. It's enormous bureaucracy probably comes from a more complex past.
The VA used to be called the Bureau of War Risk Insurance until 1921. It started the Veterans Bureau by absorbing the War Risk Bureau and the Board for Vocational Education and various Public Health Service facilities. It only became the Dept of Veterans Affairs in 1988.
