I can't believe this... now even our statues get girlfriends before us.
This is a holy grail for me. Everything about this piece is just so stunning. And the skull portrait switch out for Lady Death is SIIIIIIIIICK
Including batteries is a customs' issue I believe I read/heard.
Yes its a shipping requirement with the couriers no batteries
One of the Greatest Thanos statues out there. the 3 different head sculpts alone are awesome. Not to mention Lady Death being w/ Thanos.
That custom Doom on Throne behind the review dude.... there really isn't any other word to describe it than a MASTERPIECE. My goodness I'd have copped that bad boy if I had the connections....
Thanos has always been my favorite villain and his relationship with Death is such a driving force behind his actions that I love seeing them together! I also love the fact that Death can be either a beautiful seductress or a terrifying ghastly creature. Great video!

In regards to the battery being left out, unfortunately not their fault (it's a customs thing, not supposed to ship batteries) - I had a similar question when I bought cyclops and couldn't understand why it wasn't included with the piece.
Overall this looks amazing, can't wait to get it and thanks for the detailed review as always. You are my go-to CZcamsr for statues, really enjoy your videos, keep em coming! :)

Ohhhhhhh hell yeah. This is by far my favourite Thanos piece you probably will ever own. Lady death is so very well designed I like when you were doing the close ups you can see Apocolypse behind lady deaths shoulder with his hand like "Come To Me" haha I am glad this gets a 5/5 for concept. I live the art prints so beautiful. So many amazing switch outs. Oh the unhelmeted portrait is very off putting but the Screaming thanos is amazing. Lady deaths switch outs are fricking insane. I do love the skeletal look for her. 4/5 is fair if they can't supply ba battery. I do love the golden bones and the purple/black/grey smog going around lady death. Thanos has got alot of beautiful detailing to his armour and sculpt 4/5 is very fair for paint and sculpt.3/5 for value is understandable due to the way you had to order this. Hell yeah 5/5 X-Factor statue which I hoped it would be :). Amazing video fantastic piece take care Mr.X

Fantastic statues, Mr. X! Hopefully XM Studios will have as much detail in their LONG-AWAITED, uh LONG -AWAITED, uh, LONG-AWAITED Doctor Octopus statue that so many of us pre-ordered in early 2019. The details here rival those in the Hulk Transformation statue, which is my favorite of theirs to-date. The way they’ve painted the Lady Death statue to look as though she’s “materializing” is very cool. Like you, Mr. X, I prefer the helmeted Thanos portraits. Once again, XM Studios doesn’t disappoint and once again a great video.

I totally agree on the smoke behind. Translucent would have killed that. I really, really loved this piece but felt that the ToT just captured his essence better for my display. My only real gripe was just that Death was sooooo tall.

That's pretty epic. There's so much going on. They look great together! One of the better Thanos statues I've seen, but my all time favorite is still Sideshow Thanos on Throne.

I have nothing to add, I´m actually speechless, floored, cat got my tongue, the headless horseman got my head... ok, this is the best statue of the year, hands down...still love your custom Wolverine samurai statue though, and you samurai Batman too (was that this year?). This one takes the gold, Wolvie takes silver and Samurai Batsy takes the bronze. Will you do a top 10 "best statues of the year"?

Great review man. With the seam line it's actually not seated fully. I had the same issue. But I realized somehow it needed a little more force to seat it fully.

Hey Mr. X, great video review as always. You normally do a measurement in your review and I was wondering what the specs are on the two together? Other reviewers have done them separately, but not together. Basically wanted to know how accurate the measurements on the website are. 29” depth seems really deep. I am guessing it is mostly deaths cloak. I am trying to fit it in a space of 28” Wide and 22” depth. Am I way off? Thanks.

This is by far the best Mistress Death and Thanos statues especially when they're together which completes both statues as one, a 5 out of 5 X-FACTOR! Indeed. Cool review.
At 1:40....this 21 minute video actually took me over an hour to watch because I was playing hide n seek with the kids due to a half school day because of snow.....yay. And I had to keep pausing the video to count, look around to find them, watch a little bit more, they wanted to do another round, pause, count again, look again, watch, pause...you get the point
Anyway, if you were to compare all the Thanos’ssss you have, would it be a royal xtrumble?? This is definitely one of the best ones out there. And yes the turnaround time for this was awesome and speaking of which, when the heck are we gonna get our XM samurai Robin or Nightwing!? I think Joker might even be coming out before those!
Cool statues. I was thinking of getting them way back but I am not familiar with the whole Thanos and Lady Death saga, and I could never get over the purple skin thing. I know he is a real badass character, but the purple just reminds me too much of Sesame Street or the Muppets, or just preschool crayons. But I definately can appreciate these statues for what they are and they look exceptional.

We usually are in agreement with aspects of a statue. Only things I thought could be better was the purple smoke around death and some of the bones on the base were just...weird. I actually removed that one skeleton arm that was randomly sticking out of the side where death is at because it looked like it was trying to touch hulks butt (since I have hulk wolverine SS displayed right next to this statue) lol. Overall, epic piece.
This is my favorite Thanos statue so far.
That torso/bust coming out might have something to say tho.

As much as I was happy to see this Thanos sculpture I was more excited for lady Death. Maybe it is because there aren't many of her around. I love that they complement each other. After all this is one wicked courtship. what you said about lady death might be true, that her looks differ depending who see her. She presents herself as a beautiful lady to ease the fear untill it is too late. Whichever way she is to Thanos she is always beautiful. Still they did a great job on Thanos. Love the interchangeable parts, it healps to add to however you want to present him. Thanos is great by himself but Lady Death is the reason behind his madness. Excellent sculptures.
