- Here is an in-depth look at the absolutely amazing XM Studios Thanos & Lady Death statue that was on display at SGCC 2019! This was one of the showstopper pieces revealed at this years Singapore comic con 2019. This video contains a look at two different portraits and multiple switch out hands for Thanos, as well as the bone and skull switchouts for Lady Death aka Mistress Death.

Mass and size, definitely. Height is standard for 1/4. But yeah, it looks almost 1/3! Holy hell.

I pre-ordered thanos by himself. I never thought I would order an XM piece, but soon as i saw pictures of him i lost it. He's going too look amazing next to my SS Gladiator Hulk. As always thanks for the footage! 👍🏾

@@thirtyacres7504 no, it doesn't. The standalone piece only comes with the grinning portrait. No screaming, no helmetless Thanos, no energy hands. Sadly, would have been better if they include at least 1-2 switchouts for the standalone.. We are paying alot for this solo piece.. But still, I'm happy enough to even be able to own this piece, regardless there's switchouts or not. Its freaking awesome when I saw this in person at the con.
@@austintheng Agreed on the fact that we are lucky enough to even be able to own this. When I saw this Thanos, it reminded me of Sideshow's Throne Thanos, but even more detailed. This piece really spoke to me.
A few switchouts would have made this a grail piece, I think. Even then, it's pretty much grail as it is. $1000 for this statue and no screaming portrait bums me out. Maybe someone will make an aftermarket one.

I think my hunt for my "grail" Thanos is over. He is easily one of my favorite villains of the universe. Right up there with other villains such as Darkseid, The Joker, and Ultron. Thank you, Sisko. I needed a good look at this statue "live." My first XM statue.
You have excellent taste good sir! I have seen quite a few Thanos statues over the years, but this is by far my favourite. The Sideshow one on Throne is excellent too, but this one just blew my away.

Yes, I have the set on order. XM said on facebook that they have started production and are hoping to ship them later this year, so that's really exciting!

I pre ordered the stand alone thanos awhile ago. It’s ridiculous with how much you pay that you get very little with the regular. If it comes out looking like the prototype this will be an absolute grail that people will regret sleeping on.
Yeah, it's a shame you don't get more with the stand-alone one. But I'm sure you'll still love it. The smirking portrait with the Infinity Gauntlet is probably the best set up for him anyway. I like the screaming portrait, but the smirk is iconic. And I wouldn't personally use the head without the helmet.
It's Sisko agreed, the helmet-less portrait is trash. I would of just liked the other arms or at least one other head. This is already a grail for me. Thinking about the Thor as well.
Thor was great too, but Thanos was definitely my #1 out of everything at SGCC.
Pre-ordered. Amazing piece! I hope they brighten up the purple smoke/energy effects. The paint apps look a little dull/dusty in spots. Not sure if that’s just seeing it second hand and not in person. Awesome piece though. Can’t wait to have it in hand!

i think they 've gone too far on the modernization of his outfit.
Looks a bit too "techy",including the infinity glove.
Yeah, I think they went heavy on the modernization because their previous Thanos was 100% comic and they wanted to differentiate them. It didn't bother me, but I can see how some people wouldn't be into it.
