Best tutorial I have ever seen concerning Remix Decks. Spot on.
Well done mate, and thanks for sharing. ;)
This video series was great. I'd love to see more controller/software specific tutorials like this. The white board really helped the presentation.
Excellent, clear and concise presentation from Joey Santos. Thanks, Digital DJ Tips! I've a gig coming up soon that will put this info to practical use.
***** Just wondering i know this works great for deep house but how would you get it to work for a genre like elctro house.
Incredibly useful, in depth course, you have a really great teaching style and that final section was also really useful. Much appreciated.
+Dylan Turbulence Thank you for that, glad to help :)
Great video tutorial! Thank you for sharing!
clearly explained in simple steps how to proceed, nice
Great video tutorial but would be great to have the same for the S4 controller.
Great video!
This video has made my live remixing life such much easier!!!!!
Awesome! Good to hear that ryan
Thank you Joey this was great
absolutely fantastic tutorial
Thanks!
Oh man, I think I can learn this. Thank you. I wouldn't try by myself without videos like this. I am still deciding on hardware
Check out TouchOSC
Glad it helped :)
Awesome!!
Is it possible to use the x1 in conjunction with the ddj-sr
what song is playing at the beginning of this tutorial? or is it something you created from loops and samples?
Can you show us how to do this with a midi fighter?
Thanks alot Joey! This was super useful even though im using a Traktor s4 MK3 this video atleast taught me the basics of how to use a remix deck. how ever there are some updates and differences in the traktor pro 3 and obviously the new controller as well. i saw a video explaining the difference between the sample decks and the stem decks but could u guys make a new video or show me how to use the sample decks and the stem decks on Traktor 3 and the new S4 MK3. Thanks!
Thanks for the suggestion Shakir.
2019 nice job ;)

You're welcome Dane!

i love how there is reverb on his voice
:D
Great explanation. Kontrol F1 to the rescue.
Hi Joey ! maybe its a bit late..
THANKS for your videos
I´v just get de TRAKTOR F1
And have some problems...
Can you tell me why are some tracks that don't allow me to get loops and load them on the remix decks... I've tried to do it via LOOP RECORDER on the S4. But can´t load recorded loops on the slots of the remix decks..??
Also I have some problems on saving complete remix sets and when I try to load them
Also noticed that there is quite delay in some cases when launching loops IN SYNC on a main deck
Please can you tell me any advice to improve the use of the remix decks...
Hey Victor, has looping worked for any tracks, or none of them? What are you currently doing when you try to save the remix sets? :)
Hello and thanks for getting back... I'm just using the LOOP RECORDER on the S4.
Pick one loop from one track deck
And set it to one slot on the remix decks
At the moment I can use it and seems to work
Then I save the remix set as a new remix set on the folder
But when I quit and open TRAKTOR ... I cannot load the remix set I've previously saved
it appears on the folder... but when I drag it to the remix set deck ... it does nothing
And the remix deck appears completely empty...
Do you know what could happen
thanks a lot
Sounds like a tech issue or a bug with the Remix Sets in your version of Traktor :) I suggest sending a support ticket to Native Instruments so they can help out as it's more of a technical software issue! :) -Joey
12:30 was i the only one that thought of wolf of wall street for a second lol
Can I use a launchpad ?
Yes, you'll have to map it yourself of try and find a mapping, but there's no technical reason why not.
its sad it took 2 years for somebody to really explain the remix decks
Great JoB
Justin Bossert
8 beats not bars
Great let's make a unit where u need a white board or A4 paper lol
Paul Mcfadden how about a wacom style touchscreen controller you can write labels and gestures on. draw buttons of different shapes/sizes. put knobs and faders where ever you like. hmm..
Real Dog TouchOSC :)
