what do you think about 2 double regen shots which are just better than any other healing option to the point that you can just drop med kits all together and 2 ammo crates with 3 fire bolts and 1 normal bolt with the focus being first hitting everyone with fire bolts galore before later using the normals to finish em or even full fire bolts to have fun burning everyone to a crisp and literally killing them through burnouts.....
Just a minor detail. I would put firebolts in both crosbows first slot. In this way, you will get an extra bolt. Because if any type of ammo is in first slot, it gets additional one as a preloaded. 1 loaded and 3 spare, instead of just 3 spare. Yes, you will lose additional regular bolt, but as you can retrive them after shoot, it is not a big deal. Upd. Also, if you have different ammo in two slots, you will double the pickup rate. You usually get 3 bolts from the special ammo box, and with 2 different ammo types, you will pick double the standard pickrate. If you have poison+fire bolts, you can pick 3 bolts of each type. Also, for the martini henry and sparks, you can put a special ammo and a regular ammo in different slots, and will be able to pick from both ammo boxes, regular and special. And both 5+5 from the deployable box for one interaction. Correct me if I wrong

Holy coincidence, bought that be quiet pc case a month ago, 3 big ass fans in front and 1 behind, cools your PC dead, best case I ever had, it can also fit 2 more fans on top or water cooling radiator for your cpu. PERFECT for people who are like me and hate liquid cooling in general. 1000/10 ohh also I never cared about RGB so yeah you got a button to switch colors or just to shut it off like I do. EDIT: Glad you changed your thumbnail from "Duel" to Dual hehehe
I love double hand crossbows for the "Batman build". One crossbow with poison (knock out gas) and choke, one with poison and decoy. Tools bring knuckles, medkit, decoys, and decoy fuses (or just fuses). Maybe a flare gun if you're feeling cheeky. Consumables you run some variety of healing shot, regeneration shot, stamina shot, poison shot, flash bomb, chaos bomb. Avoiding fire and TNT. Basic strategy is stealth and misdirection. I use the chaos bolts to redirect attention, then hit enemies in the back with poison. Use choke to aim punch enemies or clear poison clouds. Use hit and run tactics supported by regen to keep ones looking for you. It's hard to do solo, but when you wipe your first server with it, it's very satisfying.
Oh okay. For some reason I was worried that it was like the large crossbow shot bolt but with dragon's breath, meaning it would be loud and kind of against the whole point of a sneaky little crossbow. If I ever start having too much self esteem I'll probably reinstall hunt and give the hand crossbow some more time.
I'm glad that the handy crossbow is getting the love its deserved for so long. I'd go so far as to say that you should even slap on a poison bolt on the second slot of the second hand crossbow. Eight bolts is still more than enough since you can retrieve them, and the poison opens up opportunity to suppress a necro and put additional pressure on bodies on top of burning.
I like the hand crossbow and I like firebolts, great utility. I just wish it didn't apply such a heavy burn to living hunters. Every time I find myself getting tagged by one my instant thought is always: "I guess I'll just die."
Yeah, it's more like a fire bomb than incendiary ammo and I don't like that. No other incendiary ammo does what it does. Salveskin isn't a counter to it and your aim doesn't even need to be great because you set fire to the environment and create little fire explosions. It's a little too much.
thats a good change, i rock this in almost every loadout because burning necro is essential, didn't make sense that when i shot people it seemed to do nothing.
I'm REALLY annoyed that the Dragon Bolt doesn't count towards Dragon Breath based Challenges. And the Choke Bolts don't "count" as Choke Bombs! I mean, I get the challenges are all about getting out of your comfort zone, but I'm ALREADY having to grind up to get a Spectre after it was reshuffled FROM a Slate! Do you REALLY have to enforce the exact wording of the challenges? It's just... tedious, and grindy. I just got to Lvl 50 of the battlepass, and if you think I'm going to grind another 15k points for a charm, you're laughing!
You should really add a second(or third) fan to the front for more intake. As is you're going to have negative pressure which will draw a lot of dust into your case and not cool optimally.
I used the hand cross bow for the first time last night and I won more CQC battles than I have ever done! If it continues to be this effective moving forward, it'll be a mainstay in my loadouts!
Hand crossbow is basically a better molotov, why use one consumable slow to burn 1 body when you can use one pistol slot to burn 5 bodies and still 1 tap like a hand cannon up close?
You know, it's been years and I have never really thought about. I think that config is safe (after this long lol) but I went ahead and added the other cable. Thanks for the tip!
I found the dragon bolt to work well with the poison and choke bolt, as well as paired with a Winfield Slate. I personally love the Caldwell Rival too much but this combo is disgustingly niche and also very fun.
Been doing this for a while now....do NOT underestimate the poison bolt with an antidote shot. Creating void zones for enemy players without an antidote shot can be very powerful.

Great video as always. I find the dragon bolt borderline useless during a fight, aside from lighting downed hunters on fire. I really wish it did just a bit more damage on impact
This garbage is so incredibly overpowered even in my 6 star lobbies it is just a nearly free kill paired with anything from a sparks to a Winfield, they can't do basically anything if you aren't missing with it and if they have small bars it's even worse.
I was surprised when you were in Lawson Tower and were landing your jump shots. Not bc of the splash, but bc I've been using that loadout and when I jumpshoot the bolt usually goes crazy directions, sometimes at my feet. Is this a bug? Has anyone else been having this happen? Fun watching this in your hands. Thanks for taking out some Nitros! :)
I have always been told: shooting is accurate on the way up to the peak of a jump, shooting is inaccurate on the way down or falling. I haven't ever officially tested that though
I was hit close range at night map with the Fireboomstick and i could not fight back cause i was burning so bright, I could not see the sights of my gun. I think this is kind of hard to conter amd not sure if this is intended but usally, if you bleed or catch fire, you can fight back but without any vision... Uff
you know what you might like trying (*looks both ways to check for eeves droppers*) trying full crossbow WITH DOUBLE FIRE BOLTS ON CROSSBOW EDIT: It's got that small crossbow one shot feel, with even MORE bolts and MORE power. Crazy i know.
I really think they need to nerf the initial hit damage from 15 down to 0, getting tagged by one of these pretty much instantly burns a 25 bar, so even if you completely whipe this team, you can't carry on playing the match as normal, you have to restore your bars. It's unfun on the receiving end because there's not much you can do against this, even if you kill them you'll suffer the permanent damage. Removing the 15 hit damage would at least give you a bit of time to get out of the flames and prevent you from losing a bar.
The Dragon Bolt Sound it’s so lazy from Crytek… the Bolt has the same sound file like a throwing lantern…. I like it a lot but the sound file is very boring.
I assume you mean at 03:25? You are right, the damage will stack and do either light, moderate, or heavy poisoning, but also in that instance, I was just out of concertina traps. Probably for the better, the guy ran in with less health so easy one-tap (notice I shot him in the arm)
The Dragonbolts 100% need a nerf. Especially indoors but also just in general its so easy to just shoot at a wall where an enemy will peak from and have them instantly lose a small health bar AND also have to decide whether or not to take the lost health bar, back off and stop the burn for like 8 seconds or charge in recklessly but the crossbow guy can be sitting on the other side of the room since the bolt has basically no drop so you can shoot it across the room, and he could literally just run away and have you burn more healthbars. The stupidest thing is you dont even have to hit them directly, just the general area where they stand, and in 95% of cases they lose a healthbar. Even if you win the fight, you probably lost 2-3 healthbars in the process and can now either try for a very risky banish or extract. Its such a toxic ammo for the game.
Notice how the health is separated in chunks? Burning removes those chunks. A currently burning player can be revived, but if all your health is gone you're *dead* dead.
