Had another chance to go through minimally picked through silver dollars that I had purchased from a shop. I always love searching Morgan Dollars and had a fun time with this one as well. We looked for rare dates, semi-key dates, key dates, VAMs, varieties, errors, and anything else special... even just cherrypicking slightly nicer coins. Should be able to make a profit on this bag. No insane finds but had a fun time hunting and checking out some of the cool pickups and hidden gems in the collection!

Wish I had an opportunity to search a bunch of Morgan’s like that. Maybe some day. I just surpassed a full roll of BU peace and Morgan dollars. Working on filling a small box with some circulated ones.

Not a single 1895, weird 😂 got a few type 2 reverse first years tho thats cool, all my 78's are the type 3 reverse.
I got a PCGS 1878 CC AU53 Morgan for $100 I bought two at that price and sold the cleaned Anacs EF one for $175. So I essentially paid $25 for the PCGS 1878 CC AU53

Just remember to blink sometimes , sometimes when you are talking to the camera for like 2-4 min I notice you don’t blink . As a friend I worry about your eyes , I don’t want them to get to dry and get damaged . I love your videos I learn lots and they are always very interesting , thank you. I bought 6 Morgan Dollars from 1879, 1884, 1885, 1886, 1900 and 1921 and 17 Peace Dollars 1922-1926 here in Germany today in a pawn shop for a total price of €460, which is €20 each, which is €2.45 more than the spot i think the price is ok for all 23 coins 460€ equals 507$
and 20€ a piece equals 22$ what do you think about the price was it a bargain? how much do the coins cost at your pawn shop in the usa?

Yes - but you may have to deal a bunch with shops (I sell a lot of it and keep others) in order for them to be willing to send you stuff like this.

How much does a morgan dollar which is in average condition go for?
They are wholesale trading near $36/ea at the moment - culls in the $26/ea range.

So your boss at the local coin store that you work at he or maybe you don't work there anymore but you still frequent in your good friends with him. So did he let you get the melt value grab 100 coins he put it together for you so you can make a video that's a wicked nice boss do it if that's the case cuz I know they're not your coins so he just let you borrow the coins for videos and that's a very good man I wouldn't let you do it
Was a different close contact friend! But I wrote him a check for all of them - I bought them outright. Paid what wholesalers would pay (either I bought em, or they shipped them off to a wholesaler)! Not the old coin shop boss though, but similar. I would tell people if I was just doing a VAM search or searching something on behalf of someone else.
