They are phenomenal. Elite musicians that compose some awesome tracks. Their 2 guitarists (Midori & Miyako) are among the best duos I have heard ever. As you dive deeper they just get more impressive. The Japanese metal/rock scene as a whole is deep with many extremely talented bands - especially the all-female bands.
Welcome to LOVEBITES 🤘🏼🐺🔥 Here some information about them: The band was formed in 2016 by original bassist Miho and drummer Haruna. Their first EP and album came out in 2017. So far LOVEBITES have released 4 albums, some Singles/EPs and also a bunch of DVD/Blu-ray live recordings. Band Maid is a super rock band with punk influences but LB is a classical metal band that blends many influences with classical overtones and crosses many genres in the process. In fact, LOVEBITES has many, many songs that can be considered "popular" among fans.Their songs correspond to different genres of metal - speed, thrash, progressive, power, neoclassical metal. There are also a few songs that are closer to hard rock. Often ladies mix several genres in one song. At their concerts, LOVEBITES also plays classical music (piano). To date, LOVEBITES has about 60 original songs and musical compositions. Another release will be released in August 2024, with new songs. 'Stand and Deliver(Shoot 'em Down)', which you named, is closer to MOTöRHEAD in its sound and composition. 'Break the Wall' - closer to METALLICA, with a little addition in the style of GARY MOORE. 'The Crusade' - IRON MAIDEN vibe. In 'Dancing with the Devil' - you can feel the vibe of DEEP PURRLE ('Smoke on the Water') or RAINBOW ('Man on the Silver Mountain'). In my opinion, one of the best original LOVEBITES songs is 'Dystopia Symphony'. The song is dedicated to the great German composer Ludwig van Beethoven and in this song you can sense the influence of classical music (as well as in some other songs of the band). This is a very powerful song. One of the famous Western music critics called it a “neoclassical nightmare”! I put 'Dystopia Symphony' on a par (this is my personal opinion) with 'Painkiller' JUDAS PRIEST. Great reaction. Be aware that Stand And Deliver is a bit atypical for them; it's a kind of Motörhead-ish party song. If you want to continue after that, I'd recommend their song Judgement Day (live or video), which is power metal style, with some symphonic touches in this case. They are all over the 80s in their style (modernized though) from power to Iron Maiden to thrash to hard rock, although recently they have drited into particularly fast, heavy power metal as their go-to standard.
As far as I'm concerned, Lovebites are the best (my favorite) band I've ever had the pleasure of listening to. Miyako (right - stage left) and Midori (left - stage right) to me are the greatest dual leads ever, period. Each play at elite levels, but their synchronization is impeccable, IMO better than Priest or Maiden or any band before them or currently playing. Asami's vocals are powerful. Fami plays her bass with multiple technique. Haruna is simply a beast on drums. Great 1st song to react to.
Japanese metal is on an incredible roll, especially the women, who are kicking ass on an epic scale. Another great band you should check out is Bridear. Founded in 2011, they were in the second wave of all-female heavy-metal bands. They have the classic twin-lead attack and technical rhythm section. They have gone through some changes but have always kept their hard, heavy, technical sound. Their tiny bassist even does death growls! They just released their new album on June 28 (Japan time), and it’s a banger. The Metal Hammer review compares them to Lovebites. BURRN is calling it a masterpiece. They are phenomenal. Elite musicians that compose some awesome tracks. Their 2 guitarists (Midori & Miyako) are among the best duos I have heard ever. As you dive deeper they just get more impressive. The Japanese metal/rock scene as a whole is deep with many extremely talented bands - especially the all-female bands.

Here some information about them:
The band was formed in 2016 by original bassist Miho and drummer Haruna. Their first EP and album came out in 2017. So far LOVEBITES have released 4 albums, some Singles/EPs and also a bunch of DVD/Blu-ray live recordings.
Back in 2018/2019 LOVEBITES have already toured in Europe, including appearances at the major metal festivals as Wacken, Download, Bloodstock, Graspop. In 2018 they also won the Metal Hammer UK Golden Gods Award for best new band.
Then came covid, their original bass player and founder Miho quit the band for personal reasons and two babies were born. After a break LOVEBITES came back with new bassist Fami and new song „Judgement Day“ in late 2022. A new album with the same title came out in February 2023.

Band Maid is a super rock band with punk influences but LB is a classical metal band that blends many influences with classical overtones and crosses many genres in the process. Congratulations on discovering Lovebites. In their first five years of existence, they put themselves on par with the greatest bands of metal’s golden age. If they are not your thing, then you probably simply don’t like melodic metal, because they are the best at it.They recently went on a year-and-a half hiatus while they waited out the pandemic and searched for a new bassist, after their founder and original bassist left the band for personal reasons. There are also a few songs that are closer to hard rock. Often ladies mix several genres in one song. At their concerts, LOVEBITES also plays classical music (piano). To date, LOVEBITES has about 60 original songs and musical compositions. Another release will be released in August 2024, with new songs.
'Stand and Deliver(Shoot 'em Down)', which you named, is closer to MOTöRHEAD in its sound and composition.
'Break the Wall' - closer to METALLICA, with a little addition in the style of GARY MOORE.
'The Crusade' - IRON MAIDEN vibe.
In 'Dancing with the Devil' - you can feel the vibe of DEEP PURRLE ('Smoke on the Water') or RAINBOW ('Man on the Silver Mountain').
In my opinion, one of the best original LOVEBITES songs is 'Dystopia Symphony'. The song is dedicated to the great German composer Ludwig van Beethoven and in this song you can sense the influence of classical music (as well as in some other songs of the band). This is a very powerful song. One of the famous Western music critics called it a “neoclassical nightmare”!
I put 'Dystopia Symphony' on a par (this is my personal opinion) with 'Painkiller' JUDAS PRIEST.

Great reaction. Be aware that Stand And Deliver is a bit atypical for them; it's a kind of Motörhead-ish party song. If you want to continue after that, I'd recommend their song Judgement Day (live or video), which is power metal style, with some symphonic touches in this case. They are all over the 80s in their style (modernized though) from power to Iron Maiden to thrash to hard rock, although recently they have drited into particularly fast, heavy power metal as their go-to standard.

As far as I'm concerned, Lovebites are the best (my favorite) band I've ever had the pleasure of listening to. Miyako (right - stage left) and Midori (left - stage right) to me are the greatest dual leads ever, period. Each play at elite levels, but their synchronization is impeccable, IMO better than Priest or Maiden or any band before them or currently playing. Asami's vocals are powerful. Fami plays her bass with multiple technique. Haruna is simply a beast on drums. Great 1st song to react to.

Japanese metal is on an incredible roll, especially the women, who are kicking ass on an epic scale. Another great band you should check out is Bridear. Founded in 2011, they were in the second wave of all-female heavy-metal bands. They have the classic twin-lead attack and technical rhythm section. They have gone through some changes but have always kept their hard, heavy, technical sound. Their tiny bassist even does death growls!
They just released their new album on June 28 (Japan time), and it’s a banger. The Metal Hammer review compares them to Lovebites. BURRN is calling it a masterpiece.
