9:33 "Wow ... Holy Shit!"
Couldn't put it better myself.
The song is called Holy War, not Holy Shit 😉
@@kent-oveprestberg3578lol😂
And in Miyako's own words "I play guitar a little"
Yep they do that all their concert. Just saw them on the tour and it still doesn't feel real. They are this good in person too.
Oh and they were travelling around Europe with a very small entourage, a black van where they had all their gear, including Haruna's drumkit, and it was only the 5 girls and their manager (plus two people who were in charge of the tour and the merch). So... who do you think it was also the sound engineer, the stage manager at the same time? Yep, it was miyako doing everything. That woman does everything.
Dokken is a very well thought comparison, and it seems Glenn hit a bull there, _midori_ has mentioned in some interview how George Lynch is one of her main influences.
That offer to drop a word for Lovebites at the festival is fantastic!!! That man knows what he's talking about !! Would love to see that come about..
They played on main stage at Hellfest in France two weeks ago and the crowd was really huge for 12:15 pm (I guess at least 40k). Joel, you can find fancams on YT and pictures on their Social Media. They and we the Wolfpack are very happy and proud about this performance.
Hellfest is #2 metal festival in Europe besides Wacken …
They also played Resurrection Fest (largest metal festival in Spain). Also Roskilde Festival in Denmark (a multiple genre festival with focus on diversity of styles and music from all over the world), overall capacity > 100k on 5 or 6 stages
LOVEBITES - Holy War lyrics:
Look at those black clouds, it’s going to rain blood
People live in fear, covered in mud
Singing oh Gloria to change the prophecy
We are the metal warriors
Fighting the darkness for sisters
There is a thousand, a thousand of evils
Hush, do not wake up Satan’s devils
Singing Hallelujah to save our majesty
We are the metal warriors
Fighting the darkness for brothers
Shining blade and burning heart
Into the Gates of Hell we march
Immortal soul, let there be light
Into the Eye of Heaven
Eagles at a holy war
Fly higher than the sun
We are one for all and all for one forevermore
SOLO: midori
Kingdom of Heaven, never shall we fall
Reincarnation, wait for your call
Singing oh, Gloria to change the prophecy
We are the metal warriors
Fighting the darkness for sisters
Morning star and dying moon
Into the Gates of Hell we march
Mighty soul, let there be hope
Into the Eye of Heaven
Eagles at a holy war
Fly higher than the sun
Stand up in the name of the God of heavy metal
What do we live for? What do we fight for, tonight?
But the world is beautiful, worth fighting for
Only have one thing on our mind
Facing the fate, holy war
SOLO: miyako / midori / both
Singing Hallelujah to save our majesty
We are the metal warriors
Fighting the darkness for brothers
Shining blade and burning heart
Into the Gates of Hell we march
Immortal soul, let there be light
Into the Eye of Heaven
Eagles at a holy war
Fly higher than the sun
We are one for all and all for one forevermore
What do we live for? What do we fight for, tonight?
But the world is beautiful, worth fighting for
Only have one thing on our mind
Facing the fate, holy war

Always such a pleasure to hear real pros first impressions! ✌
Great reaction thanks. As part of their first world tour, Lovebites have just appeared as some major European rock/metal festivals; Rock Imperium, Resurrection Fest, Hellfest(Metallica and Foo Fighters there also), then ProgPower-USA In September.

They where also the only metal band that played at Roskilde. It seemed like they got some Lovebites fan to go their only for them.
Keep up the good work, good to see LOVEBITES being exposed to more folks! 🤘🐺🤘
Miho Miho Miho!

Great reaction Joel ! Delighted that someone as experienced as Glenn really likes Lovebites.
Hi Boys, have you seen @Maxmaidiac also known as ricky ricks, nothing serious at this time, but, are you thinking who i am thinking of. Phoenix has responded to him at this time.
@@jerryajc Yes, I've noted that a while back
@@boyzyu if it is him, that is another stolen ID, I remember Max from when i started following them around 4 year ago..
@@jerryajc.-gw4fx There're currently 3 accounts with the same username.
@@boyzyu the original max typed everything in CAPS, if my memory is correct, he said in one comment, the reason for the CAPS, was due to some health issue, he didn't elaborate.
My favorite band. They're so amazing. Can't wait to see them live. Thanks for continuing to share them Joel!
Hey Joel thank you for getting more on eyes from the business side for these JROCK bands.

Happy Birthday🎂 Asami🤘❤️🔥
As always, thanks for supporting Lovebites, Joel!! Great guest, and it looks like he has a good ear for great musicianship!!🤘
Oh he lives in Norway 🇧🇻?
Nice to see a fellow countryman love the girls. I've tried to share them, among the music and metal community here. With various results. Most humiliating was a guy who put "laughing" on my comments... And called them "Loveposers". Some people...
Not a country man. Loves the country, lived here for 13 years.
Going back a few years there used to be channels that were dedicated to insulting Japanese Women Bands. The worst were the gaslighters that added a few compliments to act fair. They were educated on how the Metal Community stands up for our people. Hopefully some of the haters became cooler and joined the World Metal Scene. 😊
Jealousy has that effect on some folks@@Maxmaidiac
Great job Joel. Great reaction from your friend. Keep it going. Which show are you going to see Lovebites at?
He’s got ticket for the LA show
Thanks for reacting to Lovebites again!
Is he Norwegian? then he should had been at Roskilde Festival in Denmark last week were Lovebites played it was a great show
There are some great mv reactors from Finland that have been promoting World Metal for a long time. Finland is Awesome.
Well, they were at the Roskilde Festival in Denmark earlier this month. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Well done Joel, but has anyone working in the music industry heard of these great bands such as Lovebites and Nightwish?
Trying to change that
@@joelroadie We appreciate that Joel.

Dokken? Hasn't he heard of Iron Maiden? Between the two, Iron Maiden is the perfect choice to compare Lovebites to.
I have to admit that I prefer this live version to the album version, but then live is always best, and music should be live and not mimed like a lot of modern groups.
🐺🤘🎸🎸
"Totally Dokken back in the day, with the two guitars!" I wonder if he realizes Dokken only had one guitarist?
I'm no expert, but according to the Internets, Jon Levin played lead guitar and Don Dokken played Rhythm Guitar. Here's a live video with Don playing Rhythm as he sings. czcams.com/video/ajTfrGK1lj8/video.html But then I've seen other videos where he doesn't play at all, so in those videos, the Rhythm guitar must be on a track.
On the solo album Up From the Ashes, he had John Norum from Europe and someone else.
🤘😎👍
Is there still a human being that not know of Nightwish? 😮
Miyako id not compose the music for "Holy War".
But he's right, that Miyako is the "principal writer" (i.e. composer) right now. For "Holy War", we have an exception!
@@rainerzufall42And all guitar solos in any of their songs are composed by Miyako and Midori themselves
@@stand.and.deliver.5 Good point!

Dokken never had two lead guitars!
I believe Don had two guitarists on his solo album Up From the Ashes. It was the dude from Europe and someone else. I remember thinking he had to get two guys to replace Lynch.
@saikisfang9339 Don was done decades ago, Lynch still kills it, even into his 70's.
@@guitarzen5999 Midori is a big fan of Lynch !
@@guitarzen5999 I agree. I saw Dokken in 95 and 99 , he still sounded pretty good then. But his voice went way down hill as he got older. I saw that Lynch was doing Dokken songs with Terry IIous from XYZ and sounding very good.
@saikisfang9339 I've met George multiple times at NAMM and his guitar clinics, he's a pretty cool guy who would rather talk about muscle cars and hotrods than music.
