GR COROLLA | Wiper Cowl Removal
In this video I go through the steps to remove and install the wiper cowl in detail. This will allow you to gain access to a lot of areas when working on the back side of the engine. Things that you can have access to or improved access to.
1. Turbo inlet
2. Turbo
3. Exhaust manifold
4. Downpipe
5. O2 sensor
6. Brake master cylinder
These are just a few of the things and removing the wiper cowl can save you a lot of time. This can be removed in under 10 minutes and is simple to do so get to it!

Great informative video for the diyer! I know carquicks installed his downpipe this way, but I couldn't find his video on the cowling removal. Surely gives a lot more room near the firewall! This is the way to go!

Thanks! I installed my header on my 2017 Corolla iM this way as it gave me access to so much more. And it helped a ton when turbocharging my 2009 Corolla S. I'll have to take a look at Carquicks video.

Nice job.. if you want to install a MST downpipe. You can install it with removing to wiper cover I think car quirks did it that way without going under the car.

Thanks. It's amazing how much access you have when it's removed. I could have easily installed the master brake cylinder brace this way too.
