Silicon Valley tech firms have a significant influence in Washington, according to Krisztián Orbán, the founder of the Oriens investment fund, as stated in the PFI Talks podcast. This is why in February, the US Federal Reserve (Fed) insured all deposits of these companies in Silicon Valley Bank (SVB), which collapsed due to poor business decisions. "We withdrew our money from SVB in time," says Orbán, whose fund is accustomed to handling crisis situations.
