I have to say i am so happy to be able to speak and meet the man Danny Chocalate Meyers at RCR MUSEUM last friday can not wait to go back and see the great RCR facility
Pretty cool how he just hangs out and talks in the middle of the place. It wouldn't be interesting if he was standing behind a podium reading everything with a mic in front of him. He really makes it personal
Chocolate doesn't know it but, he, Richard and Dale gave me the motivation to be who I am today and I'm 57 years old now but growing up in Md I built my own dirt cars and raced them at Hagerstown, Potomac Speedway, and Saluda and when Dale passed away I sold my Marine business with 60k in inventory, my house, and moved my wife and family to Statesville just to be close to racing and walk the ground that Dale did. My main objective was to get a fabrication job at a race shop which never panned out and I've been here 15 years now.
What a great story. That is why I believe everybody loved Dale Earnhardt so much is because he like Richard Childress came up the hard way. Today you have a bunch of but not all are spoiled rich boys that have been given everything.
I could listen to his stories all day long
Yes I could too.
