- Sporting hero George Digweed returned from Italy a fortnight ago confirmed as probably the best British clay shot who has ever lived. He won his 17th world championships - the World Sporting. His first was in the 1980s, so that means he has been a world champion across four decades. But clays are not all that he does in the world of shooting. Now that his pheasant poults have arrived, we join him on a night's foxshooting in Sussex - and find he is a good rifle shot too. That's not all. We're on a shoot on the Staffordshire/Derbyshire border looking at why gamekeepers have to work so hard at this time of year. And we're learning how to shoot classic English pheasants with top shooter Mike Yardley, who has just brought out a DVD with London gunmaker William Evans.

Here in the north of the netherlands we also hunt with a spotlight on foxes .
from half september till now we have 47 foxes !
we use a .243 win . great for long distance . When there is no wind, 200 mtr is no problem !

I have never heard of polystyrene on glass.. Great idea, means i can put gloves on now.
Quality! I will use that to call my foxes in for the future.. Should use a 22/250 I have no problems at all with deflections of rape/wheat stubble!! I use hornady superfornance 50gr b/t 4000fps and it turns them in side out . Nice vid

I have never been able to understand why there's so much enjoyment from killing animal's . I think there's something lacking in some of these people .
I'm not knocking having fun, you miss the point. he was making excuses to justify what he was doin, I would be easier if he just said this is recreation/fun and not try to mask his real intentions with a bullshit cover story :)
Saving childrens lives? foxes are man eaters... wow. You sound like your trying to justify your hobby a little too much. I don't oppose hunting, but this isnt duty, your clearly having fun, dont try to justify it with crap comments like that, just say it plainly how it is.
