  • It's all about pigeons - and a bit about pheasants and fallow deer. In this episode of our half-hour weekly show Fieldsports Britain, we're in the West Country shooting pigeons with guns who got together on Facebook and we're at the British Helice Grand Prix at the West Kent Shooting School - a shooting sport inspired directly by live pigeon shooting from 'traps'. Deer stalkers will be happy - we're out after fallow bucks. And we continue Michael Yardley's series on how to shoot straighter at pheasants. It's another packed programme...

great video but I'm a little unsure as to what makes a good deer head, I no nothing about deer stalking or really just deer in general. Can anyone explain what is meant by not having good heads?

what knife was used for bleed ing the deer i thought it was a joker but i might be mistaken also do you keep the skin because a good skin will go for about 400 quid

there are two pigeons that land in a tree in my aunts garden every night, i was walking along a ditch that seperates her garden from a field and i was in full hunting mode so naturally when a pigeon came fluttereing out i peppered it. now i feel really sad and guilty

it depends on if it is winter or spring rape. i am a farmer and they do very little damage but enough of them can cause real problems.

oookayyy...good stalk and shots...but ideally, clean the deer AS SOON AS IT HITS THE GROUND, AND DO NOT DRAG IT
BY THE HOCKS, THEY HAVE MUSK GLANDS THERE WHICH CAN POLLUTE'''' THE VENISON IF NOT HANDLED PROPERLY.
    ......just sayin'''.......

10m 24sec.......... what were you pretending to shoot at? 3 shots in a second, if you missed with the first, you definatly missed with 2 and 3 haha

Mike Yardley tells you to take half a pace forward on to your right foot for your shooting position If your a right hand shooter this is wrong. It is actually your left foot you should put forward.
    Fundamental mistake.
    Ted.
