- Grouseshooting is not about squandering squillions. We're in Cumbria shooting grouse over pointers in this week's programme -- it's a kind of extreme dogwalking. That's not all. We go to the funeral of Britain's greatest carp, Two Tone at Conningbrook Lake in Kent. We're protecting piglets from foxes with foxshooter Roy Lupton in Norfolk. And in Devon, Mike Yardley continues his series, sponsored by William Evans, on how to shoot pheasants. The expert shot explains the three best birdshooting methods: maintained lead, the swing-through techniques and point-and-push.

Great shooting!! Keep up the amazing work!
Great video. Keep them coming
Love the parting comment! I can see PETA running around in a frothing mess throwing paint on each other to try and figure out how to stop the 'murdering of the innocents' wish this program had a brother in Australia, love the series
roy lupton is a legend!!!

thanks for rounding that up for me is it unusual for the fox to be grey i have seen and shot many a red fox but this one appears to be a fairly dark grey
i am switching from rifle to shotgun as i shall be shooting foxes at faily close quarters and im wondering if my 2 3/4" 36 gram no. 4 in my 12 gauge would be ok at 25ish yards because i have been hearing they are and they arent and that i should use bbs and that i shouldnt use bbs and its pissing me off so if someone could just please clarify this for me i would be greatfull
Roy looks so different here to the current episodes
well your probably right he seems quite naive and fairly small but i'll be finding out soon enough
why are they wearing ties
No bother taking them at that range wih that load!
Ye probably an old bugger id say i dispatched one that had NO teeth and was as grey as a badger
If you listen carefully instead of just enjoying the sound of your own comments the handler is expressing her own opinion that english pointers are the creme de la creme not directly her own dogs , doh !!!!!!!
I thought every gun dog owner knows you don't brag about your dogs. If you do your creme de la creme pointer will surely eat a grouse on camera while you run in frantically to stop it. Thanks Charlie.
Hahah, I thought the same - although it happens from time to time with a spirited hound :)
anybody else think that yardley is bloody irritating???
