- Whether you hike the trails or ride the Rim Road, there’s something for everyone at Bryce Canyon National Park - and in typical “In for a penny, in for a pound” fashion, we managed to do both!
Bryce Canyon NP is famous for its hoodoos - those tall rock formations protruding from the ground, glowing orange or red, that the Native Americans believed were actually people who had been turned into stone. In fact, the largest collection of hoodoos in the world are found in Bryce Canyon NP.

Love it that Richard can spend a few minutes with a DVOM to find out he really does not have a problem. Wheel on.
Thanks Russel. Cheers
Bryce looks amazing!
It really is a great place. Be sure to hike any of the hikes there. Carmen does not do it justice
@@TwoWheelsBigLife I think you still have the extended warranty but I never got it for my 2018. Which do you use and where might I obtain it?
Can’t wait for next week’s video. I saw Adam’s video he did to honor the blue and it was awesome. I was a Police Officer for 27 years and unfortunately had to retired due to injuries sustained one night at work. God bless ya guys and keep up the good work

Some day, when I get younger, I'm going to get a bike and go for a ride.
Living the life guys..
Nice to see a retired Coast Guard guy on here. I'm still active duty in the CG. Retire next year.
Semper Paratus...I too was in the Coast Guard - 1980 - 1987.
How fun when you did short snipit interviews with other bikers! We follow you for your motorcycling, but you do a very nice job of showing us the scenery, maps, and camping areas. So fun watching an old married couple enjoy each other. Yes!
Glad you like them!
You guys are great, been enjoying every venture with you.. Be safe..
Nature can be beautiful,fantastic place👌

Just finish a 4 day trip in the UP MI. Every campground and attractions were packed.
Thanks Richard, for Simplifying the charging system ,
Awesome you’re welcome!
We rode Hwy 14 in 1972 on a 500cc Yamaha twin. At that time it was just gravel and crashed logging trucks. I guess it's nicer now
So glad you figured out what was wrong with the bike. Are you heading to Sturgis this week. Have fun, ride safe.
The family & I ate ate the same restaurant in Panguitch about 20 years ago while on vacation. Great food! I thought the town was pretty cool as well. You guys are hitting familiar territory the last few videos, both from many years ago and more recent bike vacations. Gotta head back there!
When I was in Zion it was sleeting . Ended up in Benson, Az to warm up. Just part of the adventure. Always enjoy your videos. 👍🏍🙋♂️
Always an adventure

Spectacular scenery again. Not going to comment on the charging issue because currently in a pickle with my own. What goes around comes around... or something like that. Anyway. loved the video. Thanks for sharing!
Been waiting for this :-}
Thanks Mike.
If your stator/regulator fails again you might want to consider the Cycle Electric 3-Phase 50-Amp Charging Kit. My Charging system failed in May and with my bike being 20/yo I couldn't get a factory replacement. The Cycle Electric came highly recommenced, it has a higher output than the factory original, it's 3 phase, has heavier windings than stock and they claim the regulator has beefier internals than stock. Since it produces more power your trailer lights will have less of an effect on it.
great video.. thanks for sharing..
Gypsy J ...
Lovin' your videos guys. I saw you two in another utuber's video Saturday night. He was videoing bikes as he walked down the street in Sturgis and y'all were standing in front of a leather shop . I think it was call Highway Leathers. Looking forward to your videos at Sturgis motorcycle rally 2021.
Saw you on another video from Sturgis Sat. Aug 7. Was called walking strip day 2.
Awesome. We’ll have to find that
another video with great views of a beautiful country, might be time to up-grade the HD;} thanks.
Maybe a rebuild more Power
My Harley charging issues were generally a regulator malfunction..the stator either works or it doesn't..you can check it by unplugging the 3 prong connector at the back of the regulator and check it while running...at idle..it should read 20-25 vac ..across all three phases..if so it's the regulator that's the culprit...been there done it..and yes it sucks...eventually when you get sick of it..get a goldwing... 😜
Yep I explained all of that in the video except the get a Honda part 👍🤣
Harley Davidson is stupid if they don't give Richard a Pan American. Anyway awesome fun episode.
@harleydavidson I would talk about that. ✌️😎
Another great one, thank you. I am amazed at your video quality through You Tube. Do you ever get feed back from viewers on your video quality? You should, it is spectacular! I think You Tube is giving the best vlog their best.
Chris & Rich love seeing your adventures makes me miss camping on my bike (new job). Was wondering with Alice is she going to make Sturgis? Was looking forward to you both heading to Mississippi (Great River Road Trip). Best to you both & Alice may she keep Richard safe going to Texas 🤗🏍🏍
Hey Rich, I know this is your umpteeth time having stator issues…if you run out of warranty I’d suggest looking into Cycle Electric. Made in USA, great quality, and great customer service.
Maybe corrosion on the gauge ground,,,remove fairing remove ground add Vaseline and re install.
I agree need to make time to take the faring off.
We leave KC on Friday ! Can’t wait! Headed to Dodge city then on to NM , maybe up into Utah! Then on to Cheyenne Wy,, then Sturgis!
Sweet we’ll see you Sturgis.
Staying outside Hill City on the 12, 13 and 14th
Love following your travels! Can't wait until each week's new episode. Question for Chris and you've probably said before, what DSLR/Lens camera system are you using?
We are using Cannon t7i here’s a link

Great video again. The quality of your video is outstanding. When were you exactly in UtAh? When my family was there the heat was intense.
first of June.
Six time Harley owner and currently ride an Electra Glide but I have to tell you, after looking at three brand new Harley’s this year and almost pulling the trigger on a 2021 Road King, I made a final decision and bought an immaculate 08 Honda GoldWing GL1800 with very low miles out of the Midland \ Odessa area a month ago. At half the cost and with much more performance.
Why? Because after spending thousands upon thousands of dollars in performance upgrades over the years and now hearing of a few M8 sumping issues, I decided at 61 years old that I really want an ‘out of the box’ reliable, stock, long-distance touring machine capable of easily pulling a trailer, not something that will eat away at my retirement funds. I won’t sell my Harley, but I also won’t spend another upgrade dime on her. Just maintenance.
Same here.. 2008 GL1800 and loving it 🤜💥🤛
I can see that.
I cannot believe a HD gauge not working right. My volt gauge reads 15-16 at idle. Like you i have checked it an it is good.
I was going to there but had to wait in Tulsa for a package of my new hearing aids to come in a few days late. Next time. Keep safe.
Great job on the charging diagnostic. Maybe just give the gauge a" love "tap.....
I e love tapped that thing for a month now.

Ha ha,,,,,,
It's nice to have a working gauge, but don't you have an idiot light in the speedo?
Be safe in Sturgis! Been way to MANY severe ACCIDENTS (deaths) last few years
Where at in Tx? We're in North Dallas area.
Can’t wait for that KRiver video 👮♂️👮♂️👮♂️
I’m working on it.
Quick question… when you travel how many miles will you do in a day?
Me being from Utah and living in Utah; I get a kick how you both say Zy-on. In Utah, they pronounce it as one syllable or one word Zion almost like saying Zy-in. Like your videos and thanks.
"Amarillo By Morning" ??
Maybe I can't find the video where you covered it. But how do you keep your food cold? Just a cooler and ice? Or do you have a powered fridge hooked up to solar?
We have a Yeti with ice we’ll hold about 3 -4 days of food
Is the voltage gauge problem a bad connection to the gauge? Or one of the connectors that connect the fairing to the bike?
Yep need to make time to take the fairing off
As I mentioned in a previous youtuber response, I just started following you adventures which is to say I've been bouncing around watching previous seasons & episode, to try to understand how it started etc...I caught the episodes that explained selling your home and getting out of Texas! I think in (1) episode it was mentioned you've been married 32 yrs? I don't kno if it was ever mentioned in regards to your ages? And your home based in New Mexico now? I've been sharing your videos with my wife, and though we like to travel on our 2019 HD Tri-Glide Ultra, not to mention we are adventurous & spontaneous...I don't think we could live up to your lifestyle 👊respect👊!
Will you be at Sturgis this week??
We will. We’ll Announce a meet up soon
Rich it’s probably the voltage regulator same thing was goin on with my Str glide catch is battery must be load tested n good if they replace the voltage regulator or same prob will Re occur lot cheaper than stator
So far all good. The regulator is working fine
Come on down, Bring some cold water its freaking hot here..
It’s hot everywhere
@@TwoWheelsBigLife What part of Texas are you going to be in would be nice to ride and meet up..
My voltage gauge reads a lil lower every year ... it's the gauge :/
Yes gauge may have be ground or failed
Hey Rich, how many miles on ole Mrs. Alice?? (safe travels)
Ms Alice has 88k
How do you guys manage to keep all the rocks out of that belt on his Harley doing all these dirt roads?
What do you use to edit your videos?
I use Adobe Premiere Pro CC

Hi Guys, was just curious is you have had on opportunity to try the Olo Chipolte Paste?
Yes we have and have a video soon of that awesome delicious paste. Chris will reach out to you to get links and where to buy so we can put in the video. Thanks a bunch.
Sometimes those gages act up because of bad ground check your ground on that gage
That could be it I need to take my faring off for that.
I feel sorry for y’all it’s not the time of year to be coming to Texas 😂😂😂
We are few weeks beside do you Computer issues. Still was hot.
@@TwoWheelsBigLife ah I should know better by now lol
I notice you are using a Stanley coffee press. I have one of these and have not yet made what I consider to be a good cup of coffee in it. How much water do you use, ….. what kind of coffee do you use, and how much.. Can you tell us a little bit about this in one of your videos?
I’m am by no means a coffee connoisseur. I love my Dunkin Donuts coffee and use 2 1/2 large table spoons in water that is almost to a boil. Stir let us set for as long as it takes to close the bag and drink.
So, did y'all smoke pot with a Leprechaun at the end of the rainbow? Isn't that how it goes, hmm... Oh well, happy riding. Be safe out there.
Yeah that’s it. !! 🤣🤣
Why don't you guys come east?
Not as much free camping and reservations are hard to get right now. We really want to make out there.
We had a "check engine" light that was always on. Finally covered it with a piece of black tape. That fixed it for several years! Need any black tape?
Richard needs to get a honda goldwing
Richard loves his Ms Alice
@@TwoWheelsBigLife That’s because every man needs a truck. ✌🏻
No, for riding in the States there is only one brand. I had a Honda and 2 BMWs, but I love my 2013 Fat Bob, no great issues until now and after 82000 km in Germany. Í‘ll keeping it many more years. Two Wheels big life without Ms. Alice and Ruby makes no sense
Time to trade
its time to put the road glide to rest, the thing is Nickle and diming you. its time to step up to the plate and get a newer bike.
You had a faulty indicator? Not that uncommon. When an indicator light comes on, we’re really certain of only ONE thing - that light bulb still works. Everything else about it is known as “as yet unanswered questions”.
Is the indication incorrect? Is the indication correct? Is there really a problem? If there is a problem, does it require shutting down now to prevent further damage? Can I continue to operate at a reduced capacity? If so, how much reduced? For how much longer or further? Etc etc etc.
Don’t put tape over the indicator light! Courtesy of Half Vast Flying
Should have gotten the Indian....LOL
Hope I don't offend you but the gauge is probably made in China
could be
A dead cell in the battery can cause the symptoms you're having.
The gauge is out completely now and the battery is new in Arizona.
