Come along with me and my special guest as we hike the Peek-A-Boo loop in Bryce Canyon National Park and boondock (camp) in the nearby Dixie National Forest. The park has just recently reopened after shutting down due to Covid-19. The crowds were way down! It is a stunning and unique National Park. We also bring you along as we hang out at camp and cook dinner over the fire.

Woohoo for the hoodoos! I love love love Bryce - so beautiful and easily walkable. You are, however, so right about the heat and water. There’s almost no shade and the rocks and soil are hot too. On one hike, I almost didn’t make it back up the steep incline because the heat so depleted me. Lesson learned the hard way so I’m glad to see that you are giving out great advice. Be safe Cat!!!

Born and raised in the West and it is because of places like this I have never been able to live anywhere else in the World. There is a sense of freedom and spirit here that is rare. Many times I think of the Native Americans having to leave these lands that were their birthplaces and I feel forlorn about how they must have missed them as they were displaced. It sounds strange…….but at times you can feel/experience powerful energies at work in the canyon and rock formations of these ancient lands.
    Nice video 😎👍

Great after-worship addition on a hot and humid Sunday! Bryce is definitely on my "bucket list". That "walk in the pines" is what I've enjoyed since childhood on what is now my timber farm in South Carolina... minus the mountains, of course! Found out this past week that "Friends of Bodie Day" will be "virtual only" this year. So, I won't be doing my usual August trek to the Sierras. Now very undecided about travel this year. There are three weekend-only museums I want to explore in Illinois and Missouri on the way west (or east). But, they're closed until further notice. You and Christine have me thinking about "car camping" in my 4Runner! It looks like it might be doable. But, safety is a concern. I've seen that sausage and will now have to try it! Rather surprised YT isn't inserting cross-promotional ads into your videos. May almighty God continue to Bless and Protect you!
