- Is the Oracle Arms 2311 better than a Staccato? I think so for a couple specific reasons.

The Oracle 2311 and the Stealth Arms Platypus are total game changers. No need to pay $3k+ for a double stack 45. I used to love the Auto Ordnance p12, one of the original double stack 1911s that I know of. Now super rare. Those were like $700 at one time.
Thanks for watching
Fully ambi, sign us lefties up!
I'm seriously considering it, I just don't like the trigger all that crazy and I'd like a metal grip
. . .
Thanks for watching guys
Just discovered your channel and am only two reviews in, but really liked them both. Solid work!! Instant subscription!!
Welcome aboard! I really appreciate and hope you find my other videos just as good.
I really like that...the P320 mag compatibility is a great option...but for $2.2k...I'll pass. Fantastic if that price range is ok with you, but I have other tools that are available... CZ Shadow 2, BUL, the new MAC 2011 (still new though and waiting on tests / reviews) and I keep hoping for a Prodigy update like when SA went from XDM to XDM Elite series. Also the Platypus is way cool, especially for the almost endless customization available and Glock mag compatibility. Solid review.
Thanks for watching!
I agree! Well said!
“It’s a little bigger than what I’m used to but nothing I would shy away from” - that’s what she said. Great review! Love the points about how it’s an affordable option with the mags, the lack of grip safety, and ambi slide stop/release as it highlights how the 2311 stands out from a crowded 2011 market.
🤣🤣🤣
Thanks boss! 🙌🏻
Nice video and I’m not trying to be a jerk by saying this but I cannot get over how similar you sound to Kermit the frog, love the content tho!!!
Yep…that is my plight in life
I'm getting the compact in about 2 weeks.
Woooooo🔥
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Awesome video 👍🏼 I honestly love my 1911s and the staccato but I can just stick with the CZ’s. With JagerWerks and other companies doing optic cuts on P-07s and 75s at this time we can modernize them double stack single action 9mm. I really do like my CZ P-07 with an SRO and the Cajun pro kit more than the over priced Staccato.
Right on…thanks for watching
Whatever ds 1911 flavor you choose I think it’s the way of the future I think alot of people are tired of polymer striker fired platforms!
Agreed…thanks for watching
I was wanting to know if you ever fired the alpha foxtrot 1911 there's two versions one that's a double stack that uses the Glock mags and the other one that's single stack that uses a regular single stack mags I have one in 9 mm and it's a pretty good shooter and I just wanted to know if you had any input about the alpha foxtrot guns
Not yet but I’ll see if I can find one.
Dig this gun, in addition, price on the street will be a bit lower. Outside the Prodigy, DWX and the Bul Armory what other legitimate 2011ish type gun are you getting for the sub 2k price this will eventually sell for? If anyone still believes the P320 can discharge without the trigger being depressed they’re an easily manipulated Bloomberg rube!
Don't compare all this crap to the dwx, it's not even comparable in any way.
Thanks for watching
Im curious on how it would compare to my shadow 2 orange or even my tricked out m9. At 2.2K mark i feel like i might be leaning toward saving a few more dollars and just getting a Staccato. If it was closer to 1.5 I might consider it a little more.
You should run it at the next IDPA match 😏😉
@@FitnFire your holster have a qls fork or a easy way on or off? I'd run it for a few stages.
@@RJYeates YeUP!
I just got an Apollo 11 that’s awesome
I shot one at Shot Show range day, it couldn’t make it thru a mag 😒
@@FitnFire that may have been the first batch with the MIM parts. They use Red Dirt triggers and EGW guts as far as I’ve been told. I’m on 600+ rounds and no issues except a couple FTF in my second mag which was a used Prodigy with 147 grain poly ammo. 115 & 124 FMJ and Sig V Crown 124 have run flawless in Check-Mate, Prodigy & Staccato mags. Very accurate too.
it looks nice pistol can't justify the price. also not a fan of when companies make the rear sight part of the optics plate. sig did that with m17 but fixed it on later 320s
.
..
Thanks for the review. Seems like a dumpster fire at this price point
I’m not sure how? The issues I have had have already been fixed. It has ran far better than the Springfield Prodigy
@@FitnFireman I’d hope so since it costs a lot more. These are the kinda issues indicative of bad quality control like a PSA rifle, not a $2k+ handgun.
@@glautreu8431you mean every other pistol company that has come long in the last 10+ years. The Prodigy, P320, P365, and even Staccatos had issues with the their new introductions.
@@FitnFirethat’s just what I took away from your review and others I’ve seen on this. I want this pistol to succeed because I’d love a good 2011 pistol that takes 320 mags. I think it’ll take some time to build up a reputation though.
It's not even in the same universe as the staccato, it's a dressed up P320
Glocks do not have 70 series triggers
Dressed up Glock??? Please explain…
@@DaveandDebe sig* at least know what you're looking at before talking shit. its a sig with a 1911 style trigger..thats it
@@dsxz you are exactly right, I apologize, apparently the losers are missing the point, he's comparing it to a staccato and that's a joke, can you understand that point
I like they ditched the grip safety. 4/10 I didn’t hit that.
LOLZ
Not even sorta
That price? Pass, hard.
that much, I would go Staccato….I have a recently made Prodigy, runs great. Zero issues, 2000 rounds on my Prodigy.
Thanks for watching
I’m not trading in my Staccato P for a 2311 nope not doing that. It’s great to see more options though.
Thanks for watching
Never like when companies test on their customers. Give it another year and the price probably will drop to 1700 or 1800 and even then Bul, stealth arms, or saving up for a staccato may be a better choice.
I don’t either…thanks for watching
I have the full size and the compact 2311.... I have even ported the barrel on the full size. In my opinion, the OA 2311 is trash compared to a Staccato. it's supposed to be a 2011 meets a P320 and I really wanted to like this gun, Sadly, I would take a P320 over the 2311
They don’t make a full size with a ported barrel option
Too much for me. For that price, I would just buy a Dan Wesson 1911. Not really into 2011 style pistols that much to begin with, but I do like what Oracle has put out with this pistol. Just too pricey for me is all.
Nasty problems to have for a 2k+ fucking gun
its 100% not as good as a staccato and i don't care for staccato's i think they're overpriced but I've seen plenty of videos already, specifically humblemarksman... the action isnt as smooth, the trigger isnt as nice and it flips more than a P...
That’s the entire point though. The OA 2311 is capable of doing everything a Staccato can for $300 less and magazines are less too. The action and trigger are subjective and of the Staccatos I’ve shot, I’d take this over a P any day.
