    I have been treating people with headaches since 1997 and I'm really good at getting rid of them on people. Not just temporarily either. I can't use the word "permanently". But let's say PDG - Pretty Darn Good. This video explains cervicogenic headaches better than I've ever seen it explained. This is why you get your headaches.

    very helpful video, been struggling with headaches for as long i can remember, and it has controlled my life forever, failing to attend school, being very tired and not having the energy for social interactions. i have pushed myself trough trying to function normally but it's only getting worse, i am 25 now and we finally discovered it was connected to my base of the skull muscles and stress. Mental state sadly also influences this issue alot, but i hope to get rid of it or at least get improvement.

    Thank you for not treating us like a bunch of idiots, and giving us the kindness of a detailed, scientific explanation. So many times, I feel like most doctors have absolutely no clue how to treat chronic headaches, or their mechanics. I've had a constant TMJ/cervical headaches for almost 10 years... tried neuromuscular dentistry, orthodontics, $1500 of botox in my jaw... the list goes on. Thanks for your contribution! I wish I knew more about what to do nutritionally.

    • @AberleChiropractic
      @AberleChiropractic  Před 9 lety

      I understand. Before I was a chiropractor, I too had lots of problems that the orthopedist had no idea how to treat. Back in the day I was seeing a chiropractor and an orthopedic doctor at the same time. I got zero benefit from the PT he prescribed but got a lot of relief from the chiropractic care. I was studying to be an electrical engineer so I have an engineers mind set being if something isn't working and something else is wouldn't everyone want to know about it? The answer is no. I was in the orthopedic doctors office one day and believe it or not, I was showing him what the chiropractor was doing to me to get relief. I had the ortho doc on his own table and was pushing down on his back trying to get a release like I got at the chiropractors office. He truly seemed interested, but had no understanding whatsoever of chiropractic. Of course, I didn't either at the time. But I learned some things that day. I eventually realized that if I were to solve my back problems, I'd have to go into the profession myself. So that's what I did. I have two degrees. One in Electrical and Computer Engineering and another in Chiropractic. Ten years total education. I tell this not to brag, but to let you know I'm not an idiot. I'm of a scientific background. I pay attention to what works and what doesn't. I learn and modify my methods. Finally with Advanced BioStructural Correction, the solution is straightforward. Works consistently and predictably. I never would have figured it out. I thank God that Dr. Jesse Jutkowitz developed this method of healing. It has saved my life from miserable pain, fatigue and suffering. My wish would be that every doctor on the planet learned of his work. Even if they didn't want to do the actual labor or the treatments, they would at least know that it can solve a majority of peoples body problems. But health care is extremely political. Doctors are often extremely arrogant and lazy. They continue to do what they do despite poor outcomes and they beat down and discredit other doctors who have the solutions. Too bad. All it leads to is higher health care costs and prolonged suffering of the lifelong variety. As for your TMJ/cervical headaches, please find an ABC doctor at: www.meningealrelease.com/abc-provider-map

  • @angelicathornhillpilates1953

    I've gotten migraines since I was a teenager (everyone on my mom's side of my family does). But recently I've been able to get them down to once a month and they go away easily with medication. That is, until about 2 weeks before thanksgiving. My neck started to become so tense, it caused a migraine no matter what I did. Sometimes the pain was fine. Other days it was excruciating. I saw an ABC chiropractor and the neck tension stopped the next day. Haven't had a migraine or even neck tension since. And that's only after 3 visits! Can't wait to see what the lasting results are like!

I bet my case is the same as many - I've been tested for all of the 'common' causes and nothing seems to come up, but I still have headaches in patterns since several years, starting young, so something must be wrong! So thankful for doctors posting things like these on YT. I can't seem to find a good doctor here in Sweden so I sort of have to tend to myself!

    Wow, you have no idea how much I wish I could jump on a plane right now and come to you for a consultation. I am currently suffering from a 7-year headache, and neck and back pain which nobody in Australia can even diagnose let alone fix. I have seen many, many people over the years from Neurologist and Neurosurgeons to Psychiatrists and Psychologists to Chiropractors, Acupuncturists and Massage Therapists and everyone else we can think of and now my Doctors have pretty much given up on me and just prescribe me larger and larger doses of pain medication. So many things that you said in this video ring alarmingly true for me and sadly, the pain is so debilitating now that some days I can't get out of bed and others I can't stay in bed for longer than 2 hours. I'm had pretty much lost all hope at this point but you have just given me a reason to start saving for a plane ticket. So THANK YOU, thank you more than you could ever possibly understand!!!! You're in Australia! Awesome...There are a whole lot of doctors doing the structural work in Australia. You have to go to meningealrelease dot com and find doctors in Australia that do this work. They may not be able to do the nutritional work, but that's usually not the big thing anyway. Tell me if you find someone-hopefully within an hours drive or so. If they turn out to be farther away for you, what you do is drive there, get treated, walk around for an hour, get treated again, walk for an hour and get treated again. This way you get a lot done each time you go. Also ask them if they have the ABC Educational DVD. This DVD will explain why structural problems cause headaches. The animations are incredible at explaining why you hurt and what needs to be corrected. Get on the web right now and look for a doctor in your area. Again meningealrelease dot com.

      You can subscribe to my channel as I put out more videos. You can also learn the mechanical work I'm talking about. Granted you'll need someone else to learn it so they can do it on you and you can do it on them, but you can learn it. You'll find the information at the website above. You can buy his videos and manuals to learn the technique. You do not need to be a doctor or chiropractor to learn it. Take a look at the site above and go to "Seminars and Training", then to the ABC Core Curriculum page. If you have no interest in learning this, then you need to find a provider to do it on you. Unfortunately you CANNOT treat yourself. You don't have the leverage. I mention this in the video I have on my websites homepage with a title "Restoring Health Through Chiropractic". Notice how I talk about not being able to crack your knuckles without the use of your other hand. With the finger joints you have leverage to adjust them because you have your other hand. But with your vertebra, you simply have no leverage to correct them because you don't have any muscles that can pull the bone back into a correct position.

    This is great anatomy video and explanation ! And I think it's right on target.I do have tention headaches.I do myself massage,laying on back,relaxed head,preferably harder surface and finger massage neck with both hands up to skull base till deep tissue,it requires practice and technique,thus release the toxins,where the root of the problem is.It's painfull sometimes,especially if those muscles are tight 24/7..Self massage is hard,but doable.The headache is gone after 10 min of massage,then I alterated very cold and very warm compresses on the skull base after massage for 1 min each,3 times repetitions to get the new blood in and help with inflamation.Then I drink water with magnesium or taking warm bath with lots of Epsom salt,which is Magnesium Sulfate known as a relaxant.Works like a charm !!!

    thank you Dr Aberle... i've been looking high and low for a graphical depiction of tension headaches at the back of my head which I've had for over 20-30 years .. its alway at the same spot back-left of the head ... if only you had a clinic in Australia !

      FuNkYyBoY Are you kidding. Australia has a lot of Advanced BioStructural Correction practitioners. You probably have one down the road from you. Look here: www.meningealrelease.com/abc-provider-map
      Get to one and they'll fix you up. Let me know if there's one close by.

      Jeff Aberle Thanks for your reply Doctor. Indeed plenty but I, and I suspect many others, like to get on the internet and search the who, where, how and why. Seeing your video gives me alot of comfort of what you do, who you are and most importantly your articulation. And this stands out from the rest of the pack, hence if you had an office in Australia, I'd be knocking on your door at once. Otherwise, picking out a practitioner here is like picking out a shop that makes another ham sandwich. Be well and thanks for the link, Doctor Aberle.

      FuNkYyBoY I appreciate the compliments. Are you going to go to one of them? You can meet them in person which is better than online video anyway. The docs that use Advanced BioStructural Correction (ABC) are unique and very caring doctors because learning ABC is no easy task and it takes more time with each treatment than other techniques and there's a lot more to explain. This is why many doctors don't bother with ABC. Having headaches for 20-30 years is a long time and if you're blessed enough to have an ABC practitioner close by, you might consider taking advantage of it.

      +annmarie george See if there's an Advanced BioStructural Correction practitioner near you: www.meningealrelease.com/abc-provider-map
      If so, go see them. Otherwise a general chiropractor should be able to provide relief. Let me know if you find someone close by.

    I have had Cervicogenic headaches for 13 years (24/7) I have tried everything to get relief. Recently I had an MRI done that showed I have a hernia in the neck (C5-C6) and a problem with the C3-C4, also C4-C5. A surgeon has recommended some therapy, traction, TENS, etc. for 3 months. I have just started that. Also I am seeing a chiropractor. Still no relief. Suggestions? Ron

    • @AberleChiropractic
      @AberleChiropractic  Před 8 lety

      +diana thrasher Hello Ron. I'm glad the surgeon isn't rushing into surgery so that's a plus. I really doubt the disc herniations in your neck are causing your headaches. I have a great video discussing the subject of herniated discs here: czcams.com/video/xG-5L37ep-U/video.html
      The same twisted frame that's causing your headaches is also squashing the discs in your neck causing them to degenerate, bulge and herniate. You and the doctors will tend to think it's a local problem...ie in your neck. But this is a global skeletal problem. You can learn all about this with this video: czcams.com/video/PrnL0Sp99IY/video.html
      I know that's a lot to watch, but if you truly want to understand what's going wrong, take a few minutes and watch them. If the surgeon suggests spinal fusions in your neck, run fast and far. Although this may help with the discs, the permanent problems that can result from neck surgery's aren't worth the risk. What I see occasionally is people with metal hardware put in the neck for situations such as yours and it doesn't work and they eventually end up in my office asking if I can help them. Sometimes I can, and other times I cannot based on the angles the bones were fused at. If the surgeon got it wrong, they won't risk going back in to try and fix a malposition so that the chiropractor can help them. That's just crazy. So chronic pain is the result. Now I'm giving a worst case scenerio here but after you watch the videos the true problems should be more obvious. I look forward to hearing back from you... Oh, and regular chiropractic doesn't fix twisted bodies.

    My suboccipital muscles spasmed one day after using too much cumputer sitting in a bad posture. Also other muscles in my neck tightened up. I've had acupuncture to release the tight muscles but somehow my digastric muscle is still very tight which just doesn't seem to relax. when i press into the suboccipital muscles i can feel some relief in the digastric muscle. What's the connection between the suboccipital muscles and the digastric muscle? I just dont understand how my digastric muscle has become tight from my suboccipital muscle spasm . Please help me to relax the digastric muscle?

    Great Video Doc. I look forward to more of your great insight.I have Acid Reflux and have to sleep kind of funky at night and I get headaches daily.Doctor and Neurologist won't do MRI OR CT scan because they don't suspect tumor or anything serious.They both suggest it's muscle tension or some issues with my neck/back.Im hoping to see a chiropractor soon. I also found out recently I have a Vitamin D deficiency. Its at the lowest level my doctor had ever seen so I don't know if that contributes or not.Thanks again

    • @AberleChiropractic
      @AberleChiropractic  Před 9 lety

      Your Acid Reflux and structural headaches are probably both caused by the same thing. Get the developers DVD that will show you how your Acid Reflux could easily be caused by your structural twists. Not sure on the Vitamin D. At the very least get that number up to normal levels. Low Vitamin D can cause lots of problems. Here's the link to get the DVD: www.abcmiracles.com/educational-dvd/ (It's the ABC Educational DVD)...Filled with animations that explain complex topics like yours.
