Sometimes minor inconveniences happen and the best way to approach it is to find the positives in that situation...make the best of it and turn it into a positive. For example, Melissa, has another inconvenience incident with her motorcycle and she needs to take it to the HD shop and WAIT. So, she makes that inconvenient situation a positive by finding things to do while she waits and shares those with you.
Plus, she shares her upcoming adventures and plans which include a trip to Indiana to see Melinda (FINALLY the twins will be together). Plus she has an adventure planned with her daughter. You will want to come back and check those videos out later this year.
Finally, Melissa installs her new Ciro Phone Mount and shows where she added the Ciro Cup holder.

Have both the Big Ass Cupholder and the rechargeable cell mount from CIRO as well and really like both products. Great video!
There is a dongle on Amazon you pick up and install in the front faring into a factory plug . It allows Apple car play to work properly on the touch screen when you plug into the USB in the front right faring storage. I seen a guy on CZcams install it and using it, so I have purchased the little part and I am going to be installing it this summer. That could free up that right handle bar and ya wouldn't need that phone mount anymore , everything can be done through the touch screen.

That is awesome to hear. Yes the cup holder I am 100% sold on. The phone is about 90% there... time will tell... I will probably provide an update. One thing I am doing though is getting an offset perch mount to bring the phone over to the center a little. We shall see. Thanks for the comment.

I will start looking for more Indians to tape. My husband loved his Indian when he had it. We have several friends with Indians, and in fact, my next video is of my husband and sons motorcycle club event where a couple of the guys had Indians. Phone mount looks good and sturdy. I’ll end up buying one for my Trike.
Yes, I do love this phone holder (even though it is plastic) It is sturdy. I have no problems with it and like it more than my Ram Mount. I just ordered an Offset perch mount (Amazon--Ciro Offset Perch Mount). It will set the phone to the left a little. I will see how that works.

bummer on the switch.. On my way back to the shack. I'm currently in Albuquerque. I did cut one stop out of this trip which was Vegas, temps projected to be near 110 for yesterday and today, and that was just a little two hot. High 90s has been rough.

Yeah that switch issue was definitely a bummer. Seems like I am always having something go on with my motorcycle. No more additions or changes that can cause problems for a while. I want dependability over all now.

You can adjust the cup and phone mounts inwards from under the bottom. Movesthem in away from your controls
You can reverse your phone mount to where the cam locking lever is on the left side of the phone holder thus moving your holder about approx 2.5” to the left of your control buttons. Giving you the ability to see your controls and without having to move the ball mount. Wish I could help you with this. Suggest calling Ciro3d 3d. They can tell you how to reverse it. I promise you will be satisfied with the change.

The bars turning whilst the fairing points forward looks weird. 😂 😊
Different for sure. Plus the angel of the Insta360 camera makes it look a little off at times. In an attempt to get some of the other views and scenery, the turn perspective sometimes looks off.
I have the same cup holder, but, I didn't know you could get mounts that mount to the control, I may have to change mine out!
Yes, I love these perch mounts. I will be putting a video out hopefully in the next week or two with my thoughts of the phone mount. The top mount I’ve had no problems with and I love it. But I ended up buying an offset perch mount from ciro which moved it to the left a little and away from the controls.
I have the Harley purch mount phone on the left and the Ciro drink on the right. I can see all switches and grab the drink with the left hand anyway. I’m on a 2019 triglide ultra.
I ended up buying an offset perch mount for the phone. Works great. Thank you so much for watching.
Just under the out there is a adjustment to move the cup holder away from controller.
I just ordered a ciro offset perch mount which will move it to the left a little from what I was told. Not liking it over those controls I am finding. Thanks for the info.

Yes, that CVO was a beauty and I loved her, but as you will see in some of my videos that I am working on now, I think you will know why I am glad I traded her in. The lady who bought the CVO from the dealership went with me on my trip last September. It had some issues (sad to say).

Up towards Danville. I saw your video about the blessing of the bikes a while back. I love the views from there and would so love to ride down there but not sure I will have time. This will be a 1/3 vacation and 2/3 working trip. I work from home so will be spending many of the days there working. I would love to visit that cross. God Bless you and safe riding out there.
