This is gold. I am glad I found your channel when I did. You have given me a much better understanding of the game, wish I had these when I was just starting. I made so many mistakes early on. These guides for new players are great. The pointers on game play, such as the "zone of operation" (the oval circling the caps and bases) and understanding our HP as a playmaking currency were key to better game play for me. Thanks TBull

Great Bureau strategy that's always applicable. And thanks to good advice 2+ years ago from TBull, my American Dewey isn't buffed past 7. I mean 8.
Oh, a point on levelling up commanders. I’ve found that getting commanders to 7L1, and then 12L2 were good milestones.
7L1 unlocks all the skills, and one inspiration. For any tier below T5, this is all you need to start. It’s relatively low on resources as well. If you’re playing the game enough to get the free commendations from the Campaigns, the resources to reach 7L1 shouldn’t be a struggle.
12L2 is basically good enough for any tier, any game mode. You have both inspirations, and the first two skills maxed out, which is the meat and potatoes of most builds. It’s 300k CXP, 103 POs, and 4 Commendations, which is a lot, but after several months to a couple years, it’s definitely manageable. The temptation to go higher is always there, but if you do the math, the % gains from going higher than 12L2 are really minuscule. There’s some commanders like Halsey where there is almost zero point in going higher than 12L2.
It's better to get your cmdrs to level 12 before getting one to level 16 for the price of insignias
Don't get in a rush to max out cmdrs to level 16. Start slowly like T bull said to 7. When you get the right ones then work up to 12. Good luck.
I’m still disappointed chat voted to put the rust bucket camo on the Konigsberg lol. The Type 3 looks so much better. Rust bucket should be for decon only haha.
Another great helpful video to help new players 👍 A suggestion to get all the commanders from bureau, do whatever daily battles in each that you can to unlock them faster. I’ve done this not too long after starting & finished all bureau projects

Also, if you're gonna spend money, just do it on the battlepass or campaign as it's called in this game. You will get stuff for your commanders and camps for ships, and a ship at the end if you complete it. It's the only thing worth spending your money on in my opinion in this game. The ship at the end is usually trash, but the other things you get along the way is what make it worthwhile.

I wish I would have seen this b4 i started playing, I fell into the upgrading commanders i never use now. I have them all now about 6 maxed out with my lowest at 8/1 that I never use.

What is the biggest shop in the game?
I never knew that Scott was for light cruisers, I had Kinkaid on my lights and Scott on my heavies. I'll have to be sure I swap them around next time I set sail
You can use either. I recommend kinkaid for the heavies since his Ingenious perk can help a lot with the slow turret traverse that line has

Mine wont let me activate more than one project?
Curious, I just downloaded World of Warships on PC, but cant seem to find Legends. Is there a difference? I would prefer to play legends but I also want to still use my controller on PC.
They are different games, legends is on Xbox and playstation only, idk if you can use controller on PC tho
I wish I didn't level all my newbie commanders in the beginning..I wasted so much on bad commanders
Of course 3 years ago there was no bureau and duplicate commanders was a thing.
It's good your doing content on Xbox aswell as it'll show all those bellends that it's not the console that determines wins and RNG.
