Oh snap.... I'm gonna use this to make stuffed mushrooms.
would be good with cannellini beans too. I think they're a little creamier than chickpeas.
Yum! Hot tip: I have also used my potato ricer to squeeze water out of my spinach when I make spinach dip!
Looks so good ! How about throwing in some chopped water chestnuts for some crunchy texture too ,will have to try it !
nice! I love the water chestnut idea!
That's what I've always done!
When I used to make spinach dip using Knorr's veggie soup, and I didn't have water chestnuts, I used celery. Was much easier to chop and I normally had celery in the fridge, where I didn't keep the water chestnuts in the cupboard.
Great idea 😊The recipe I always used (pre WFPB ) had water chestnuts. That was back in the 80’s when dinosaurs roamed the earth.
Oh wow… this looks great guys! THANK YOU! My birthday coming up on the 4th and I’m making it just for me! Beautiful!
Happy birthday!
Love that you use frozen products MAKES it easier for people like me WHO CANNOT COOK and ARE starting to learn PLANT BASE WAY OF LIFE AWESOME
I had a heck of a time finding frozen artichoke hearts. My Trades Joes does not carry them. I found them @ Safeway . Yeah so going to make this on the weekend for vege dip. Thanks so much. Keeping us healthy one recipe at a time.
This is great! I was kinda getting tired of hummus and guacamole. Thank you! 👍🏼
And it's just as easy!!! :)
I could see using that dip to stuff large, slightly under-cooked pasta shells.
Good idea
Yes!!
No the fork down the Cucumber is how my mom sliced them. They are so pretty
I’m thinking it would be good to do a light dusting of your mushroom gravy powder over the top of some of that dip.
Zucchini boats filled with the dip will be delicious. Filler for veggie sushi. Quesadilla filling. Time to bake up some chips.
The possibilities seem endless.
You make me smile. Ty both for all your work.🌱
You guys are so fun to watch. The dip looks good too.
It looks delicious but I think I would put the artichoke hearts in last and leave them a bit chunky.
Oh my God! Reebs had me at the “every other stripey-thing” with the cucumber...Then Dillon came in with the fork stripes… That is how my mom raised me and I love it!!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😂😂😂
Yummy! You could also use silken tofu instead of beans. Either way, delish.
Tofu would be closer to color of sour cream based spinach dip👍🏼💡
I love the way you cook! Quick, easy, yet thoughtfully thrown together. Just like me! 🙌
There’s no coincidence that I was going to make this for the first time for Father’s Day. I love your channel. I follow some pretty great plant based friends on CZcams and have learned lots of things in the past 6 months of this new journey, but I definitely have used your recipes more than anyone’s. You both not only have made a positive difference in my life but crack me up. Thank you!
KALE YEAH thanks Dillon!!
Kale Yeah- You're Welcome, Sholeh!
Other firmly planted vessels for this yummy dip include, are you ready(?): belgian endive (fancy!), collard greens (soulful!), mini potato skins (devilishly good), butter lettuce or iceberg cups or wraps (Asian fusion style), as an alternative to pizza sauce on halved French loafs/English muffins/flat bread (Abbondanza!), larger bell pepper thirds (God’s spoons), as a topping for leftover hash or hashbrowns (potato potahto), as a sauce for spaghetti squash (Ssssssso good!), and as a flavoring for brown rice or quinoa or neatloaf!
Looks great!!!
This sounds AMAZING!
I'm cracking up at the long stalks of celery 🤣
Love you guys!!
I was so upset when I went to TJ’s yesterday and they didn’t have any frozen artichokes. That has been a permanent on my TJ shopping list. I hope this doesn’t mean they have discontinued them🥲
Amazing!!
New to the WFPB world and your channel, trying lots of new recipes and I am SUPER excited to try this! Thank you! ☺
Thank you so much for sharing your awesome recipes and information and TIP'S AND IDEAS
Oh my soul!!!!! Love this Dillion
Looks amazing, must try it.
Thank you Reebs and Dillon 💖❤️love you guys
I made this recipe tonight for dinner. I used greek seasoning blend instead of chili powder. I put it on a wheat tortilla with sliced radishes and sliced cucumbers and it was wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe. May God bless you and yours!
First one!!! Kale yeah!
Kale Yeah, Howie!
I am officially in love!
Yummy 😋 one of my favorites!
Just wanted to give a "SHOUT OUT" to you Dillon for your Date Powder. I know, kind of off topic, but just saying.... I love chinese, and haven't been able to come up with a healthy "stir fry" sauce to replace the very unhealthy Hoisin and Oyster sauces that i miss so much. I scoured the internet, and combined/modified a few different recipes, and came up with a "WINNER" for my very much missed Chinese Broccoli (without the beef...i do several different varieties with carrots, onions, tofu, etc...) but just love the beef& broccoli sauce)....anyway, here is the ingredients in case you want to give it a whirl yourself....
MIKES STIR FRY SAUCE (OYSTER/HOISIN REPLACEMENT)
2 Tbsp date powder (thanks dillon)
2 Tbsp rice vinegar
1 Tbsp dark soy
1 Tbsp coco aminos
1 Tbsp Siracha
2 Tbsp Peanut butter *
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp 5 spice
1/4 tsp salt (optional)
1/2 tsp corn starch
Fantastic! Of course, now that you have the recipe for the "BEST" stir fry sauce, you need the recipe for the "BEST" Vegan Chinese NON-BEEF & Broccoli...let me know if you want it....i was just so excited how it came out, I had to share! You can use it with Kung Pao, or any of your favorite stir-fry's.
*if allergic to peanuts, try tahini
Thanks for sharing I’m gonna try it! Peanut butters seems a little non traditional for hoisin sauce
@@lizzzarduh If you google "hoisin peanut butter" you will find many recipes doing that. When i created "Mikes Hoisin", i literally checked out dozens of recipes and experimented with different combinations of many of them, and I am very happy with what i finally ended up with...also when you think about it many chinese recipes use peanuts and other nuts, including my favorite kung pao, so i don't think it is too far fetched, and I actually think i like it better than store bought hoisin or oyster sauce that i typically use. I also use a lot of spicy ingredients in my stir frys, so the peanut is not so pronounced...e.g. red pepper, chili oil, schezwan peppercorn, 5 spice, etc...
@@Matt25_1-13 I’ll definitely try it. I have some gochugaru spice I can add !
@@lizzzarduh some people suggest tahini instead of peanut butter for those that are alergic or don't like peanuts...
Looks very good. Love Ezekiel tortillas and I will make the pinwheels or some delicious wraps! Entertaining video! Thanks!
Yum! Way to go Reebs with the tomato on top. Such a fabulous appetizer!
Will be definitely trying this - one of my favorite appetizers! :)
Dillon and Reebs, this looks amazing!!! Gonna try it!!
I love this dip. I am having it on toast right now for breakfast.
Awesome!!
That looks yummy
I really REALLY just love all the work you two put in to give us ready-to-go already tweeked healthylisious recipes!!!!!❣❣❣❣❣❣💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
KALE YEAHHHH ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
Spoon food! ..Thanks, Reebs!
Nice, yeh... Looks good. Nice to see Reebs. Hope things are going well.
I've been craving Spinach Artichoke Dip so great timing. I can't wait to try it 😋
I got the recipe from the blog and I have a small suggestion. Please list ounces/cups where appropriate. (I live in a small city and haven't seen frozen artichokes and sometimes can only find frozen spinach in a box.) Thanks 😁
thanks
A tip for pinwheels: roll them up individually in plastic wrap and refrigerate for a few hours. They'll firm up and slice beautifully!
a ricer would be good for straining out the water from the spinach, and Costco sells artichoke hearts in water it has been a while since I purchased them, therefore I cannot see if they contained salt. This will be one of the things I take for Thanksgiving dinner.
Omg! I can’t freaking stop laughing! AND… can’t wait to try the dip! You two are awesome! 🙌🏼🥰
If you are on the East coast, Wegman's has their own brand of frozen artichokes.
This would be great in a cabbage roll.
Looks great! How many days do you think it’s would be good in the fridge? 3-5?
She messed around with the celery, he comes back in...ha ha ha.
Excellent. Easy peasy lemon squeezy. Looks delish 😋😍
Okay I am on the bike at the gym watching Reebs offer dip on a spoon, laughing out loud. I look so strange.
Watching this as I polished off a container of "traditional " dip and crackers for lunch. 😳 Still less calories than a Big Mac or Whopper though. 😂
Seriously though, I am trying to replace everything with the whole food plant based alternatives, and this was next on my list.
Thanks so much!!!
Enjoy the recipe! We love this one!
Ok...I need a "kale yea" shirt!!!@
Bet this would taste yummy on eggplant baked in oven
great idea!
Going to Trader Joe’s today going to make later today.
Hello, do you have any advice how to simply start following your life style?
What can you use as a substitute for nutritional yeast which I really don’t like?
This looks so good, but I don’t have a food processor. Can I use a blender? I have a vitamix, a nutribullet, and an immersion blender. Can any of these work? I’ll give it a try at least 😂
You could use canned artichoke from Trader Joe’s but it does have salt
Oh you just said that
Could a person make this in the Vita Mix? I don't have a food processor.
Summer is hibernation here in the devils armpit, aka Phoenix.
I love the garlicky , oniony and.... lost me at artichoke 😂😂
I laughed when you said the soy milk was just over $2. Our price to buy soy milk that is just soybeans and water is $5.74. Lol I live in Northern Ontario, Canada and have to order EdenSoy from Amazon.
Dillon…. Can you make a Swedish meatball recipe? Every vegan one I’ve been able to find uses oil or is really high fat.
I did this on my live cooking show membership
Well Your World no way!!! Ok- how do I get to it?!?!
Why not use the spinach juice instead of the soya milk?
Go for it!
I would think we'd like the creamier look than solid green.
Why non-fortified nutritional yeast?
Everyone says it tastes better
What is shin waaa? 😳
Evelyn says it looks like green poo 😂
