Made this today....quite good, maybe a little lemon juice? It needs something. I added 2 teaspoons of sambal, didn't hurt, added some garlic powder along with the chopped garlic. and some dill.
I wonder if you would enjoy the fully cashew version a bit more. It has a bit more richness and fullness of flavour. This version is definitely a lighter taste. Adding some spice is a great idea to give it a boost and you can certainly do more lemon juice. Thank you for letting me know you tried it and for your feedback 😊

I have everything, except spinach and cashews, but instead canned collards and raw almonds, and those may do as well.

@@TastyThriftyTimely I tried it and it turned out great. I also didn't have artichoke hearts and substituted with sliced manzanilla green olives, cut homemade sauerkraut, and chopped black olives, though they sort of disappeared in the mix. Next time I'll have artichoke hearts. Otherwise it turned out great, fabulous and divine or to die for.

hmm I have a delicious BBQ sauce recipe that you could adapt a little bit but no ketchup recipe yet. I'm glad to know that is something you would like. You could omit the smoky and spicy ingredients from my Chipotle BBQ Sauce recipe (tastythriftytimely.com/easy-spicy-chipotle-bbq-sauce-from-scratch/) and boost up the sweetness. That should get you to a pretty delicious homemade ketchup! Let me know if you give it a try!
