She's not underrated, she's kinda overrated. But I like her
Okay but like, she had to destroy the one she loved most, not long after the death of her brother. She was hunted down by Hydra and she was viewed as a monster. She is so strong magically, but her mental state is shaky, she gets flustered easily when fighting multiple opponents, and she doesn’t have much physical stamina. The odds have been against her since she was ten years old, but she still manages to be arguably the strongest avenger.

Well in Civil War she's sixteen, with would put her at about seventeen in Infinity War. My theory is that her power grows with mental pain. The more she hurts inside, the more powerful she grows. In AOU when Pietro died, her power exploded out of her and turned every bit of Ultron spawn into dust and it looked like she didn't know she was doing it. And when she was destroying Vision, she was in so much anguish that her power grew strong enough to destroy an Infinity Stone with one hand and hold back the other five with the other

And she watched them die just like that. Imagine the pain.
She Lost Everything Including her Accent
To get it clear, her parents were crushed to death when she was ten and her and her brother were trapped for two days under rubble until they were pulled out. Became orphans until they gave hope in being experimented on by an infinity stone. Forced in cells then to be used as weapons. They were free and found hope in Ultron for her to realised he wants to kill them. Ultron ends up shooting her brother leaving him dead. All her family is dead now. She then ends up joining the Avengers saving people until accidentally killing a building filled with innocent people. The public is fearful of her and she’s kept in containment by the Avengers until she fights them in civil war for arguably the better. She lets herself be captured and locked away in a cell. After being broken out she finds love for the first time and runs away with him. They live a happy life away from everyone until her boyfriend is being hunted down to be murdered. In the end she’s forced to kill him and destroy an infinity stone in one hand while holding back five other infinity stones with the other. She manages to kill her last love for the greater good until he’s brought back to life and killed a more painful death. The universe is altered by the sake of this as half of all life; including her is killed. She comes back to life and fights the guy who killed her boyfriend and destroys his weapon and armour which captain America, iron man and Thor couldn’t damage together. She’s probably the second strongest avenger. And has gone through the most pain along with Thor.

Depends on what feats amd specific ability ranges you are talking about, as far as I'm aware she is the most powerful reality warper but that's really it. Not saying she isn't good but Thor, Hulk, Doctor Strange/The Ancient One, and dare I say Captain Ms. Marvel are more powerful than her in the other physic aspects.

i remeber when i was 9, i was in the theater watching age of ultron and i remember just being in love with Wanda, she has been my favorite character since. she is so underrated and easily the strongest. i also feel that in some ways, i can relate to her and she inspires me

I hate when people say that she killed hundreds of civilians with no repercussions because she literally didn't. Crossbones did when he activated his suicide vest and Wanda did her best to save the people around her, which she did. And then she was shipped to the raft where she was kept in a straight jacket with a shock collar. And she's a KID (probably around 17-18 in Civil War).

Well wanda did kinda cause the death of several people and a lot of distruction on the city by fiddleing with bruces brain, making transform to the hulk and cause chaos. She knew whta messing with his mind will do and she did it anyway. Shes a cool powerful avenger and realy awsome but she killed a bunch of people without a second thought

Natasha was teaching her to become an agent of SHIELD and that includes disguising everything about herself, including her accent. But they still incorporated her accent a little bit even this far into the series.

Second, Thanos himself remarked that she is better than the others while having the other 5 stones during Infinity War.. Third, even almost killed Thanos during Endgame which made Thanos compromise his other troops. Fighting skill wise, I get your point but she even has just started unleashing her powers what more if she's full blown?? I think there's still more to her if only Marvel develops her character more and then maybe you'll choke on your words.. LOL 😂😅😆

House of M started because of mutants and I don’t think they are gunna add mutants yet to the MCU.
It started because of a mental breakdown, Marvel could do something similar with the loss of Vision, not to mention she had already lost her parents and her brother as well. She went kinda nuts in Endgame so she might get even more insane. Judging by the title of Doctor Strange 2, Scarlet Witch might be the one who caused the "madness".

However if Thanos would have never called for the help of his ships Wanda would have easily killed him... however Ironman killing Thanos was a better ending

Sadly, Captain Marvel had the makings to be potentially good, but it felt like a rough draft that forgot to make Carol a character we could like in literally any kind of way (to be fair, she didn't have her memories... although that should have helped us get to know her better but it was wasted), told a story with a narrative (women are oppressed) that not everyone will agree with (including women like myself), and then hired Brie Larson of all people to play her... It's really not even a competition. Wanda Maximoff gets to have emotions because Elizabeth Olsen can actually act.

They should've done Captain Marvel like Scarlet Witch, Black Widow or Nebula in terms of character development. She had some development according to some of her supporters but I couldn't see it and feel it. Btw 20 mins < 1.5 or 2 hours, I hope you know that right? Like, she starred in 5 movies, but those 5 movies weren't about her.

It's crazy going back to watching this after seeing her progress throughout especially in WandaVision. The fact that the Avengers just casually knew of her power but didn't realize how powerful she is, and neither did she. Until she was able to stand up to someone like Thanos and creates her own reality like in WandaVision, an agency like SWORD is hunting her down understanding how OP she is (like in the comics) and may have to recruit a supernatural being as a formidable opponent.

Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff is incredible!! The way she gradually loses her accent, at first it’s strong and then there’s a subtle transition into an American accent, instead of a sudden switch, and the way it comes out when she gets angry! Not a lot of actors have that much control over their voice, there’s a difference between being able to speak on different accents and being able to combine accents over time.
Not to mention the way her hair becomes more red as she embraces her identity as the Scarlet Witch and as a part of the avengers
