Tbf it didn't get a price increase, it's pretty much a "if you don't have the old one and want one might as well get the new one" situation. If I had a bunch of skates for the gpx1 and it broke I would probably just buy another og one so I don't have to buy more skates
I do feel a difference with 2k HZ but not enough for the price of you already have the first one

The switches makes it a HUGE difference. This will prevent double clicking from ever happening again, some people don't realize this

The switches sound so metallic for me. This is the reason I also returned the G502 X Plus.

Pretty much, the switches are undeniably worse even if they are optical because the actuation force is way worse than before, the sensor and switch speeds are pretty much the same as the gpro x sl and the 2khz polling rate is actually worse than their 1khz polling rate because Logitech sensors themselves are not tuned to give consistent reads making its theoretically worse than the original, and also worse than the refined viper V2 pro
@@integrity. I’m on the v2p rn, can say after trying both that, the pro x superlight and a bunch of others that the v2p is undeniably my favourite mouse.
@@inspectregrunt I've tried a lot of mice from heavy to light, I literally gave away my gprox sl because it was just meh, like for free I just gave it away because it's overhyped and on par with an office mouse in my honest opinion. I'm now using a v2p as well after deciding to go back to lightweight mice for a third time, and now I use it works flawlessly my only problem with it is I hadn't bought it sooner and debated against it because I was an urgo fanboy for a long time so I was using like the g502, DeathAdder and basilisk. I've tried other brands think they are kind of overrated and considering basically every brand has appropriated the DeathAdder and made their mice off the DeathAdder I wouldn't even give credit to them because of that unoriginality. The two top pick mice right now is actually the death adder V3 pro and the viper V2 pro for a reason. (That's if we exclude the hard fanship to the gpro)

I just bought a g pro x superlight 1 from my friend with little to no use for $40, might as well just upgrade all of the switches when one of them break.
Some much needed changes including usbc…. That’s it.

Buy the old version and swap out the switches and scroll wheel encoder for something that won't die on you within a year or two and it's perfect

I think the double clicking was a problem with the g pro,they fixed it with the Superlight

They even try to skim on the mouse skates 🤧 This new version has a thinner skates which I doubt it will last
My MM710 mouse skates from 2 years ago still had the same factory scratch, meaning it never faded... idk why but i think if its 100%PTFE it should last a lifetime, as long as you are using cloth mousepad

Ive never had double clicking issues on my g pro superlight, i think they figured that out before they released the superlight
@@carter18352 my g303 shroud double clicked after a year, m5 then right click. my g304 double clicked on m2 as well, i have a g102 that's still running well doe, could also be because the country i live in is very humid ngl. cause my hati s also double clicked lol 😅
they’re using optical switches
Been using my gpx superlight OG for over a year now and I haven’t seen any complaints of the gpx double clicking, only the first one that was released in 2018, I bought and it doesn’t come with the same switches that always double clicked originally.
I've had mine since it launched and haven't had any issues.

my ROG Harpe is better i had the x pro superlight 1 and its good but the Harpe is better because you get aimlabs to perfect your aim and custom your mouse setings from training
I’ve been waiting on this release to only be let down. It’s truly sad how much money Logitech makes, to just recycle the GPX Superlight, add a USB-C, not implement 4K polling at launch, side buttons still mushy, not as tactile as Razer’s Deathadder V3 Pro/Viper V2 Pro, it honestly not worth upgrading if you have the original GPX Superlight, or another flagship mouse until a price drop. The Logitech launch video had to been funniest thing I’ve seen in a while. They made a mouse shaped from clay, when they used the exact same shape lol (shape is truly perfect, no knock on keeping shape) but shame on you Logitech. You could’ve dropped the mic and maybe made the game changing mouse with everything everyone wanted, but you dropped the ball. Next time bring in the big reviewers and us tech nerds take feed back from all of them. But Logitech is still gonna make a killing on it so it doesn’t matter. GG. 😂
I got the superlight 2 as an upgrade to my 7 year old G900. I can confirm my side buttons are not mushy, though I did see reviewers say that theirs were mushy 🤷♂️
I wonder if this one will experience the same of its legacy. The first super light has a massive scroll wheel issue where debris gets stuck and up & down wont work properly .
was not only the first superlight was also the normal g pro, and i think i saw a reddit post with the new superlight 2 having the same scrollwheel issue

feel, not feed. it adds more friction and stopping power by increasing the amount of mouse touching and sliding across the pad

switches are hyrbid optical so they shouldn't double click anymore. the scroll wheel feels the same, I never had an issue with mine

it makes no difference without the puck. i've seen some people say that the puck causes a bit of drag on mousepads as well.

X2v2 but size 2 (medium) because its also good if you want to palm grip and its only 100 dollars
id get neither personally both are pretty meh and my x2v2 and many others has qc issues, depending on ur grip id go dav3, lamzu atlantis, or gwolves hts+
