You won't believe how easy this single-serving recipe is! All you need are two Ziploc bags, your hands, and the proper ingredients. Give it just five minutes and you'll have yourself a refreshing ice cream treat in no time!
Basically, the ice cream is a cup of milk, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Your welcome 🙏🏻 (this is why you look into the comments)😂👏🏻

Once I was making cupcakes and u were supposed to put it back in the bag then squirt it into the mold so I did and I squeezed the bag to hard and the cake batter came out the other side . LOL
Here's a great tip: when shaking the bag put on oven mitts so your fingers don't get really cold.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for this video. It was very easy to follow and clearly instructed. I wanted to let everyone know that I made this with 2% milk in case anyone wonders if this works. It worked fine for me. But I think it could be better with a higher fat content milk like in the video. I worked mine for 7 minutes then put it in a bowl and added a cup of frozen strawberries and about 1/3 cup of mini semi-sweet chocolate chips. Then I put it back in with the ice for about 7 minutes. It was PERFECT!

I’m trying to make homemade ice cream during summer break, it’s on my bucket list
Fill bag half way with ice (gallon sized)
Put 1/2 cup of salt
In another smaller bag put 1 and 1/2 cup of half and half
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 table spoons sugar
Place smaller place of ice cream mixture into ice bag
Seal everything up and shake for 5 minutes so mixture hardens
(Side note place in freezer for extra time to really get the full ice cream effects)

I made it with cow's milk and sea salt yes it did work after I added more salt and ice. My mom told me to give you a thousand thumbs up.
Yes it does work I made it 5 times and my friends made it lots of times too and it was really really really really really nice yummy good and I love it, PS you can use any milk you want and you can use any salt you want and if you don't want that taste you can use mint chocolate taste or strawberry what ever you like :)

I suggest that one use oven mitts when shaking the plastic bags because fingers get very cold and went. Also, pour off the water when done and allow the ice cream mixture to stay in the freezer for a while before eating - for that extra umph!

I remember watching a video of the same topic, about 2 years ago. I never tried it since at that time we didn't have vanilla. I watched this video today, and noticing it was quiet and calm around the house, I caller my 2 younger brothers to help me along. I did the measuring and pouring, while they played around with it. It was fun doing it!

This worked so well, it saved me a trip to go get ice cream until tomorrow.
I remember when they made us do this "magic trick" in Kindergarten. We put the half & half milk in, stirred in the vanilla, sprinkled the sugar, put it in a bag of rock salt and crushed ice---then we created "friction", for like 15 minutes (time-limit quick activity), to turn it into "ice-cream". It turned into slush instead & our arms were killing us but the adults were happy because we were tired. I've never been more disappointed about a trivial activity in my life.

For the people asking why salt is needed to answer ur question i think its because it has a reaction with the ice making it colder so that the ice cream cam freeze faster.... :) hope this answers ur question

I just tried, use cocoa powder to make chocolate! I did and it worked! Also I had to do 10 mins to make it form into ice cream. I just set it on the table and moved it back and forth. Worked well!

1st time when I shake it,it did not work..but then I took more ice cubes,almost a bag full of ice n added some more salt..n there I found great yummy n fluffy n tempting mango icecream..

Guys I just found the best thing ever, put the bag in the dryer and set it to air dry and put the ice cream bag in a drawstring bag and also throw a towel in the dryer so it doesn’t get soaked in there.
