A can of "carnation" milk is a higher bf content, when mixed with equal amt of water is equal to whole milk at 3.25% bf (butter fat). Chill in your freezer for a couple of hours will whip up like whipping, my dad used it for making iced cream. It doesn't have very long hold as whipped cream, so the addition of gelatin would improve its standing time.

Just tried this recipe using 6% fat sheeps milk which is very close to cow's milk. It became gelatinous while I was mixing in the vanilla and sugar. After 20 minutes in the fridge, it was like softer jello. I added the cream off the top of the can of coconut cream and some extra vanilla and then used my hand mixture and it turned into something similar to a vanilla pudding. I'm going to add some leftover white rice to it and make rice pudding.

That's the truth it's so expensive to buy it in my country and its so annoying because I am always scared to come across a recipe that calls for whipping cream, infact I am tired of trying to get something that could at least work as whipping cream but today is a very day for me to have discovered this

It might be little easier to go the more traditional route with heavy whipping cream, vanilla and confectioner's sugar. Just whip it all together and it's done.

So right! Heavy cream can get expensive, especially in my country but using this recipe saves a lot of money and you can make loads of this for the same price as a bottle of cream.

SimpleCookingChannel If you make this with 16 oz.'s of milk & when your cream is complete add in a 14 oz. can of sweetened condense milk you will have an ice cream base & can either freeze it as is or throw in crushed cookies for cookies & cream ice cream. I just made some today but I used heavy whipping cream because I had not seen your video yet. I made it from another CZcams video "Ice Cream with 2 ingredients & no machine." It taste great...please try it with your way of making whipped cream. I'd love to see your video.
