ICE-OUT SPRING CAMPING - FAREWELL WINTER

I have spent many early springs days on Lake Superior when the ice was thick and the snow was deep. This year Gitchi-Gami, The Great Sea, surprised me with an early ice out, a snake on the snow and the beauty of changing seasons. Join me on an overnight bushwhack camping trip as I say farewell to winter and hello to spring.

Beautiful scenery. Grand idea to lay your pack on your sled allowing you to strap it on your back. Excellent choice of a camp site using the hill side to block some of the wind. I look forward to seeing leaf filled trees in your next video.

No those were not bear tracks although I have seen bear tracks in the area during the summer.
