Mustang Week 2015 Pullouts | Exiting the Myrtle Beach Mall

As far as I know, I am the only one who even attempted to record people exiting the mall, GO ME!
Here is some of the few pullouts I recorded on Friday of people leaving the mall. The sad part is this was the best ones I could find. The pullouts, burnouts, and fly bys no longer exist at Mustang Week which is a shame because it was what a lot of people looked forward too. Its sad that a few people had to ruin it for all of us.
I didn't even attempt to record any on Saturday because I felt my time would better be spent enjoying the car show.
Side Note: My camera records a lot of motion blur, so when panning back to the exit, there is a lot of blur, I could have fixed this but was unaware it was a problem prior to recording these pullouts. I hope you enjoy regardless.

thank you for your video and you did great........ im saddened that they changed the format for exiting the meet, but I understand the safety concerns too...... my dream is to bring my 98 GT to the meet but now it wont be as fun cuz I cant show off leaving like I want to....... im all the way out in California so you could imagine what it would take to take a trip out there to Myrtle..... anyways.....thank you and keep up the good work.......CP

At this point they should move mustang weeks location to a more safe area for the cars to open up. I always loved seeing vids of stangs screaming down this road but i guess too many people fucked it up by not being responsible with their horsepower. That and not knowing when to let off the gas.

yes they should so they can let them do what they used to do because it was fun watching them fly by or at least put up some sort of barrier or something
Boring is good.
It means no wrecked cars , no innocent bystanders getting crashed into, and no tools showing off a car they can't handle and potentially hurting or killing someone.
I've seen the other years footage. Y'all are lucky you didn't get shut down for good already.
Want excitement? Hold it at a drag track or road course next year. Then theres no cops, no minivans, and no pedestrians.
Feel free to post the video of my friends and I getting into it with the cop. (I was in the black cut off, he was in the blue shirt). They definitely took away the most entertaining part of mustang week. Hopefully next year will be a new venue.

I was there at a few other places where the cars pulled out and unfortunately the cops were big there too, they have just tried really hard to ruin everything. I heard that the show was going to be moved to a different location so maybe the burnouts will be back next year.

I suggested an idea to move some of the meets to a safer area while I was at mustang week last year and all I got was a bunch of smartass remarks by the staff and others so I'm going to see how 2016 goes, it may be my last year going

I dont understand why they cant make a exit area that people can "show off" before they leave....Something that is roped off. Its not like they need a mile to do it.

They should just close down this road at the end of the show time, have everyone pulling out at this spot sign a waiver, and let everyone get on it as much as they want in return
I was there last year and at the meet and greet the cops were breaking everyone's balls even if you were just accelerating normal, they need to relax
Why was no one recording people leaving the mall?
somethingtough The mall roped off the curb and set up no loitering signs and their were police and security enforcing it. Along with 3-4 patrol cars sitting in the median at all times throughout the show.
