Yep. Exactly this. You want the weight to transfer as hard as possible so you can generate as many g's as possible on launch. It's why some drag cars are lifted somewhat. The higher center of gravity = more grip at launch because of the roll axis.
Well it was a drag day, and stiff springs just lead to wheelspin at the line. They set up their rear supsension softer so the car squats a bit and gets more traction off the line.
i saw a very very nice 04 cobra on ebay for 29k. was black and was completely stock and had 6000 miles on it. im only 15 so i dont have the money obviously but if i did thts definity the one id buy
back in 2010 on my way there i raced a gt500 jexactly like the one in the beginning of the video. I wonder what the chances are of it being the same guy
