no
Want dangerous roads? Drive in Louisiana where EVERYONE is looking at their phone constantly.
same thing in Delaware
Brian Martin yeah they crash........ not fall of a damn mountain lmao
Brian Martin oh don't forget how Louisiana recently have been ranked #1 in most likely to be killed in Road Rage smh
Brian Martin oh so that's why insurance is so damn high . Ima wait until I move to Atlanta to get car insurance
Troy Montana
Wait you have a car and no insurance?? facepalm
Someone incorporate these roads into a racing car game then make it VR. That way we can experience them without the fear of actually dying off them.
Driveclub VR on PlayStation has the road from Norway.
Phane I AGREE
Phane
Racing isn't a game
just getting a moving picture would be a plus in this shit
Highway 401 in Toronto is like the most dangerous road in the area.
Like damn son
In the 1960's Highway 401 is one of the safest ! The most dangerous being the farmers fighting for the expropriation of their farmlands for the construction of the highway !
Shinji's Dad
neon geniuses what ever
These roads should be traveled in nightmares only, not in reality. New respect for the courage of foreign commuters.
The roads are not the problem, new technolgy is. I would venture to say, that goats, cattle, pigs and hores drawn carts don't have a problem.
Definitely true
Yep. Look out for those hores drawn carts!
All of those things are hyper susceptible to robbery or land mines. Or both.
hae william
The first one would be a very good drift road
Traveling to Baguio Philippines is beautiful to. I loved the city and being up in the mountains after we traveled further on. I miss my family/friends over there.
I would definitly travel these roads...they are so beautiful...
That road in Italy and Greece look like........a ton of fun to drive. Dirt mountain roads are the most frightening.
I've been on the Halsema highway, it had such amazing views!! By the way, 'Baguio' is pronounced Bag-u. Epic video!
tama XD
I am going to stay home and watch on CZcams...Thanx for sharing
i drove the first one on the list and yes it is twisty but it was fun.. i am planning to do it again in February.
onelonleyfarmer good luck!
the end section past motu road in nz would be worth adding in sequels to this video. it hasn't been a complete road for a few decades. its a gravel road that goes out towards the motu river heli pad and cooks clearing before eventually its just trees n stuff growing through it and links to a walking track after a while. theres lots of slips where you have to eventually park the car after a while then take a quad bike where you have to drift across vertical faces of shale rock and land on the other side of the slips. its pretty fun adventure but i have watched a friend roll a quad bike off a few hundred meter bluff between the slips. but its surprisingly safe as you don't really seem to fall to the bottom most of the slips are regrown scrub you just get snagged up mid air in vines on the way down and have to climb back out and winch the bike back up lol. i don't have any photos from there but its be a good adventure for anyone who wants to take a camera there.
These roads are danger but infront of nepali scary roads it is nothing, passing through is such a very danger.
I think I will just stay close to home...
You forgot Marazion in Cornwall, UK. It's completely submerged under water twice a day, the view is amazing.
Every notice how people from other countries complain about US roads so much, but not one road on this list was in North America.
4. trollstigen I've been driving motorcycle there last summer it's so beautiful
In the West of Ireland we have the mainland Island and another small island. They're connected via a passage that only opens when the tides are low, and when they're high they rise up to 12 metres.
Ive driven the Taroko gorge road in Taiwan. Its not THAT bad although as you get higher it certainly gets scarier. I had to turn around due to time constraints but wow it was impressive.
Can t be drunk driving on these damn roads !
the karakoram highway is just extremely beautiful nd it is considered to be the 8th wonder of the world
Yay. Australia got a mention :D
Nathan Taffijn The Eyre Highway is not a dangerous road. This person has got his information wrong. Starting with his pronunciation. Thousands of vehicles travel this Highway with no problems.
The airstrip signs are upgraded sections for medical emergency flights to land and evacuate people, due to the distance to medical facilities.
The distances between population centres across the country are much greater than most travellers can comprehend coming from the likes of Europe and the USA.
At number 4 on 2:35 you can see multiple people on the mountain with their arms out.
Bret VanErmen kkoa
All I can say is GOD BLESS AMERICA!
oh its wonderful and amazings different dangerous road .its very enteresting to experience to travel.but ! so scarry, good luck to all the travellers around the world.(* *)
I live in luminary Tennessee it's a small community of mountain folks we have a room that is called Lowes Gap Road it is extremely dangerous Twist and Turn several twists and turns back and forth and even has a sign that says enter at own risk this is a very deadly Road lot of people have died on this road you should look into it it could rank up there in the twenties. thanks for the video didn't know there was that many dangerous roads in America or Across the Nation. Have a nice day.
your pronunciation of the Eyre Highway is incorrect, the correct way to pronounce Eyre is 'air'. thank you
How eerie is that?
I used to be a tree feller on the Nullarbor.
Pat Murphy
Now you're just an old feller on the front porch?
What about the pikes peak highway in the US, not only are there cliffs and extremely steep gradients, the road reaches above 14,000 feet above sea level. And once a year there is an international race held there which is a hill climb with plenty of horrifying crashes
bajasummit i never understood why people like racing Pikes Peak
Nah, americas shit.
The Pan-American Highway which runs through the united States is probably host to the most fatalities of one single road, given it's length.
was pikes peak not on one of the early editions of Gran Turismo? maybe the 1st or second one?
The first one is quite near my place and going there for a vacation ths coming December.. Yayy i cant wait.. 😍
Irene La Maurer Did you go?
I've gone up Trollstigen with my friend on motorcycles. He had a passenger and he dropped the bike simply because the turns are so sharp that rounding them while going uphill it's less like turning a corner and more like turning on a parking lot. The road also goes up so sharply in the corners that on a loaded bike, even with just my meager 48 horsepower, the bike will wheelie on every corner exit despite not trying at all :D
Also in many places of the road there isn't really a railing as much as just stones - so if you veer to the side slightly, you won't grind against a railing but instead crash into the stones.
On the top the road rose to a rain cloud and eliminated visibility pretty totally, especially as motorcycle helmets don't have windshield wipers. So you had to have your visor open to the cold weather and keep wiping your visor with your left hand while riding.
OTHER THAN THAT, however, at least the road surface is in good condition so you're not likely to cause a landfall or such.
awesome video
14: Ambushed by a prostitute?
LOL exactly what I thought!
Dallas cowboys
New title....20 roads you actually have to know how to drive to navigate safely.
The atlantic road ocean is quite harmless, it's closed if winds are too severe - and if the winds aren't too severe it's quite harmless.
Ive been up the Trollstigen in Norway in a coach no problem at all
Jeez!!! Why did they make such sharp curves??? Damn!!! The speed limit has to be no more than 5 mph, and everybody BETTER go no more than that - for their own sake... SERIOUSLY!!!
I could not believe this video existed :D
These would make for amazing bike trails.
I like it when roads corrode, back to school...
I doubt many have had the luxury of traveling down MSR Tampa in northern Iraq. That's the most dangerous road in the world to this day. More deaths and injuries than any other road but since it is a military and local Iraq route not many know.
Darlington. br work shops.
Chris Atkinso
Due to IED's & surprise attacks.
At 10:20 you mention the road is 48,000 meters high. Unless there was some huge geologic event recently, I doubt it. Mt. Everest is only 8,848 meters high.
9:48 The *Ire* highway?
The correct pronunciation of the *Eyre* highway is more akin to *_Air_* highway... 👍🏼
What about the Sani Pass? The only Eastern acessway into Lesotho, it tops at 2400 meters high, gets snow frequently in winter, and needs a 4x4 with low range gearing ti get up it. There is a South African border office at the bottom, and a Lesotho border office at the top.
"Highway in the philippines" then at 0:39 it shows an image of Serra do Rio do Rastro, Santa Catarina, Brazil, complete with a bus from Viação União, a company from the same state.
I had an accident on the Mahi Par road in Afghanistan. The poor driver and a couple of others in the vehicle passed away. Scary road.
Cars + Salt water. That sounds like a good combination.
Its Really Awesome
The friendship highway is 48,000m high? Sure...
At 10:21 did he say 48000 meters high? That's a hell of climb.
Yeah, what did he mean by that? Even if he meant feet, that it would still be nearly twice the height of Everest!
our halsema highway in philippines connecting baguio to bontoc..sagada..banue and other parts of cordilleras is#1..it passes by atok which is the highest point--and there's a tourist view point there where u can stop.. take pictures and view the breathraking sceneries!
..which saddened me most is the guts of those hell bus drivers who dares to overtake with inconsiderable speed--frequent caused of accidents here--so don't dare take bus ride..rent a van instead!!!
..thanks for this video
I came for the thumbnail, was almost worth it.
Number 6 is not the least bit dangerous... Its just a tourist attraction and gets shut down once the waves reach a certain hight (during big storms). Trollstigen could be considered dangerous if it was open during harsh winter conditions, but its not. The biggest dangers on these two roads are the tourists parking in the road to take pictures. If you need dangerous norwegian roads for your top 20 videos, take a look at our mountain passes that are usually open and heavily used during winter (haukeli, hardangervidda, filefjell, and so on). Norwegian truckers learn to keep one hand on the steering wheel and one on the door handle, if it starts sliding sideways, get out and watch the truck go.
gets to Australian road and floors it
The road from Mosadah to the Dead Sea deserves a mention.
Karakoram highway is around 5000 mI think but you mentioned 48000m :)
The first one would make a hell of a soap box derby race.
2:32 is not Trollstigen. Its the Gotthard mountain pass in Switzerland.
Amazing
looks like I just found out where I'm not taking my toyota corolla s
Thanks
The Karakoram Highway #19 is narrated as being 48'000 metres high! It actually has an elevation of 4,693 metres (15,397 ft).
Gaucin to Ronda road in Andalucia. That's pretty crazy.
I drove these growing up in southern WV
No7 at 3:50 is not in Greece, the picture shows the Stelvio in Italy (No13)
the aia highway also has many dangerous people
never been out of texas and I've had nightmares about the French road...the one under water...what
Good vid
Since some of the roads are not dangerous at all, you could've mention the Transalpina road and Transfagarasan, both in Romania and both amazing and somewhat dangerous.
I have been in one of those in norway because I live here .🇳🇴
Driving in such roads, I call it signing a death contract
Naa...Never Ever...Soo Scary...
Atleast they have roads
No mention of the Tail Of The Dragon (US 129) in North Carolina and Tennessee?
OK, you convinced me...I'll stay home and watch it on TV.....
in norway there are alot worse roads then the 2 mentioned, one that is alot worse is the road down to "lysebotn" in county:rogaland (south west of norway in the beginning of "lysefjorden") not in the end that opens up to the sea but where it begins/ends depending if you drive a car or a boat.
It isn't pronounced IRE highway it is pronounced 'air' highway ...Eyre Highway.
2:05 'Designed for cars smaller than 40 feet'. That would be every car in the world then, as the longest are only about half that!
well. its 12m so yeah, few to none cars over that but think a big trailer over there. that's the reason for the ban since you never know when a polish guy in his big old Scania on old worn out summer tires tries something stupid as doing a "short-cut" over roads like that in Norway to skip pay-roads
Jeremy Benjamin yeah, it's referring yo pick up trucks strucks semi trucks etc
OK. But it did say cars, not vehicles. This video was clearly written by a non-native english speaker, so he perhaps did not understand that lorries and buses are not cars.
or it could be a slight oversight. A lot of native English speakers say cars when referring to cars + other vehicles. Not that they don't know the difference, but that they don't think to make that distinction clear.
spectacular
I think you should visit Nepal once...
Can you do 20 dangerous bike past that actrully exist
A road 48000 km high? Wow. I want to drive it! Going halfway into space with a car.
Seems legit.
Try driving in Chicago you go 30 above speed limit and might get drivebyed
I've run on 4 and 6 roads I live in Norway and the speed limit on the 4 road is 80km/h
being on the interstates and/or any roads in Atlanta, GA Usa!
I can sure agree about Atlanta. Have only been through the area once and it was unbelievable. Far too many watching and imitating Nascar I think. :-)
Turning Point Florida's crazy too
Amy Holley LA California
Ponce de leon. I drive on that road frequently. Every time I remind myself that this is no usual road.
r h
m
These roads look amazing. Probably more accidents on M62 then these roads.
You could've filled every slot with roads from India. Unfortunate really.
48,000 kilometers high? Now that's a high altitude road!
how many miles is that?
about 28000
LOL... That's the new road they're building to Mars (www.mars-one.com)
Roger Honacki it's feet m8
some of these roads look like driving heaven!!! I would most definitely like a modern safer car and all wheel drive for sure!!
When watching this video I can't stop thinking those poor Google street view camera car drivers that have been forced to drive these roads
Eyre highway , number 18 . From Port Augusta- South Australia to Perth -Western Australia . Not iya .
DANGEROUS ROAD 😱😱
what no road to Hana? that thing has an incline three times as steep as that bridge and it's a tourist road that is only one lane for as good portion
I rode on the one in Egypt didn’t know it was dangerous

New title "20 best drivers roads you MUST visit"
Insane. It would be a rush though wouldn't it? WEEEEEEEEE
