Actually it’s 15 days because no ships that are capable of good speed have been there as they were not in any rush. Remember back in the ocean liners era, the latest ocean liners were capable of crossing the Atlantic in 4 days. During an emergency, a rescue would be done using a faster ship. Perhaps 3 days for a rescue if done by boat.

Near the end of this i got a big flash back to camping: we use to sit in the field and watch the space station go over and when it was dark enough we set fire work off work them, no idea if they saw it but.. damn. I miss camping in the early 2000s.
NASA was a big thing back then when I was 4 or 5 y.o and yeah camping and setting fireworks off for the astronauts was a BIG thing back then
