90% of Dota videos are either high ranked players making fun of bad players, or pro games, or high ranked tryhard streamer clips. Your videos are a fun break from that.
That was a rough first game on Venomancer, but it will all be worth it as you climb to reach 100k subs and we get a backflip!

Your team is an early game lineup with strong teamfight and pushing power, theirs is 80% mid-lategame heroes. Unfortunately in lower skill brackets games tend to go on longer for a lot of reasons so getting stuck with the bot earthshaker and a lobby that just, in general, is less likely to press their advantage it was almost doomed to fail from the start.

There's a rule regarding sniper, if your enemy plays him - He will rip through everyone, casually standing in the backline while everyone just walks towards him. But when he's on your team, he's playing with his feet and can't do shit. If you're playing him, it's like you're playing 1v9.

Hey man! A good hero that is decently easy to get a hold of are some of the following:
Support - Bane (Holds and nuke)
Carry - Legion Commander and (Maybe) Sniper (I am not a fan of sniper but like you said, everyone seems to be good at sniper)

Just imagine being new at dota and you opponent has Viper, clinkz & sniper.
viper just slow your movement to 0 while acid eats yo butt.
clinkz full to zeros you in 1 second
& sniper is hitting you & pushing you back from across the map.
If you dont move or cast any spells after you respawn you become invulnerable and enemies cant farm you in your own spawn location
In terms of team fight the line up is good. They have four cores. Unfortunately mismatch with experience. (I thought you used omniknight. That would have been fun hahaha)

play on Nyx assassin He's a one-shot of almost any hero when coming out of invisibility, buy Dagon on him
play heroes like timbersaw, underloard. Easy to understand, hard to be killed. Being able to survive to fight might give you a chance to use items. Items play crucial part in dota.
veno does not and cannot, dish out burst damage. so don't expect any burst damage. however, venomancer is very good in harassing and crowd control. venomancer is also the heroes you choose for enemies that relies on healing. as the enemy will have to spend looots of gold for sustain and Regen just so that they can stay on lane.
yes veno might suck for those fast paced, burst type of players. but in clashes, he is reliable.
he is one of the heroes who can deal huuuge damage in a clash, provided that you manage to hit multiple heroes with your ult. Again, DPS.
good builds are:
veil of discord - magic amplification
Kaya - magic amplification
force staff - escape or chase
Mana boots - Mana recovery
uels - Mana Regen and survivability
scepter(if you can) - bonus ult DPS, extra int and str
just these items and you are good for the rest of the game
it's a type of hero that you can let go of mouse and keyboard once you click your first and ult skill.. the goal is just to hit multiple heroes..

Try Zeus. And practice an evil laughter for when you hit that R.
Also, remember your items. Solar Crest helps a lot on 1v1 because when throwing it on an enemy you slow their attack speed.

I was thinking to suggest playing medusa/luna, those are normally quite simple heroes where you can press auto-attack + BKB + ult, and just take your hands of the keyboard
btw, you really needed force-staff and/or ghost scepter this game - former to disengage from annoying slow zones (sniper shrapnel, clinkz tar), latter to not be auto-atacked to death
Yeah ghost sceptre might be bad this game. That Omni was doing nuker build, ghost scepter would be bad.
Force staff is definitely the way to go, maybe pavise as well but that was just too rough a game.
@@TECh-wg7mv ngl pavise came out much later after I quit dota, I just learned this item exists.
as for ghost scepter, I think it's still quite good - maybe as second item - so that when you get jumped you instantly press it, then force away
I wont insist tho, probably with good enough positioning one would not need any items at all
Don’t play Medusa or Luna as a new player, never play hard carry your first games. You won’t understand farming patterns, when you have hit the right timings, when you can/can’t fight. Much better to play support hero’s and just practice casting spells from the correct positions and not feeding.
@@zacharyjohnson7944 I would argue, cuz here it's not just a new player, but one who played league before. The concept of getting farmed enough to win the game is easy to understand; while as a support you need to
1) harass while keeping your distance (we got a problem here)
2) itemize properly and use your items (we got a huge problem here)
3) do whole lot of bs like pulling, stacking, helping on runes, etc (not even gonna touch that)
4) press correct buttons of correct moments (here we have a minor problem that the man spams his skills off cooldown, but whatever)
I would at least suggest trying it to see what happens.
@@mikelezhnin8601 but he doesn’t understand the capabilities of other hero’s in the game and that was proven time after time watching this. He’s not going to know when he needs to leave the lane and go farm side lanes, junglers are their own thing in League not just something you do. say he plays Medusa and like sure he can read mystic snake but does he know when he should and shouldn’t use it, or how to use it to save him. Is he going to be able to farm “safe” spaces and not just feeding farming the camps by their towers. No probably not, he’s not going to know how to itemize to stop certain hero’s. That’s why you play support, you buy a force staff or glimmer and use your abilities and you have almost no other responsibility aside from wards in most pubs. If he picks Medusa and there’s an AM on the enemy team is he going to know that Am counters him and how to play around it, almost certainly not. Having a non factor carry is almost an instant GG.

check out queen of pain. she can deal a lot of damage and is extremely hard to kill.
Not bad as a newbie, but there is a bit more to it, than from LoL, we got neutral items, items usage, item timing and ofc farming and denying of creeps. But u did really great!
the "new player" experience: start dota 2. queue up for a game. find a game. manage to pick the most difficult hero of the game along with 4 others who are equally clueless.
plays vs clinkz, sniper, spectre lina and furion.
thats every game i've played with new players.
Sniper slows you with his auto cos of his headshot passive (2nd ability) which has a percentange chance to proc. activating his 3rd ability will make it 100% chance to proc headshots while extending his attack range for a limited time (only negative to this play is it will slow down sniper's movement a LOT)

If you don't want to get griefed in fountain just don't move,
You will get permanent immunity in respawn if you just don't move .
Little tip
If you want the enemys to end and not farm you afk once you spawn you will be invinsible

Btw your hero and earth shaker both are support so you lose the lane if you want to play off lane(bot in the dire and top in the radiant)

There has been a pos 1 or pos 3 venom and pos 3 es before. Wouldn't be surprised if that was the case. I am confused as to why tide decided to go safelane as pos 5 considering he's a better pos 3 than es

If I was in that match I'd tell them Luna, ss pos 1 and 2, venom mid with es pos 4 with tide pos 5

try using easy heroes first.
dota 2 can sort out difficulty of heroes for new players.
tank damage setter- spirit breaker or axe
ranged damage from a mile away- drow or sniper
meelee nuker - phantom assassin
meelee nuker / AOE stun - slardar or sven
ranged nuker- Lina inverse or lion
support ranged softie with good damage - Crystal maiden or lion
meelee tank support dps/burst- ogre
these heroes are pretty easy to use
brotherman, they have 4 and a half right click heroes. just buy ghost scepter

@@studeogames its an item you can use that turna into "ghost form" or whatever. you can cast spells and you take extra damage from spells used on you. however you cant autoattack and you cant be autoattached.

Similar story, except I played alone in League (as a Dota player) but got reported for smurfing xD, League is pretty easy, just be 1 LVL higher than them and you dominate

It's an old video but what the heck; you had no chance. Venomancer is a nuker and chaos creator, usually laying the ground for actual fighting heroes, so if you have bad team, your best chance is to buy blink dagger and/or shadow blade and just jump on solo enemies, and press all your abilities, then go invisible until cooldowns tick to zero and repeat.
Also, a venomancer player should put their Plague Wards (the snakes you can spawn) on quickcast. At no moment at all should this ability be off cooldown. Snakes go first, you follow, always having them doing the scouting for you and detecting enemies before enemies can see you. Vision is the key in Dota. Vision with damage and slow is key to a good game. And while wards to very little damage, each does damage, so the more you have, the better edge you have against the house (a.k.a not your miserable team).

Those guys ain't as new as you to the game, that's for sure. Quite the bad luck to get such a match up. I'd suggest you use the Practice Mode of the game to test out the heroes you don't know. That's the fastest way to at least have an idea of what the heck the skills does lol.
if you hated that.. you must imagine how good it feels to kill a team in the fountain.... you can get better at the game... and in one point you will the one making people hate their life ;0
veno is my first hero playing dota, we win, but I'm 0/15 lol, it memories alone keep me to stay away with playing this hero again
