- I recently found the last four US Elvis LPs I'd been looking for, thanks to a couple of viewers. I've also added to my modest collection of Elvis UK EPs.

Nice records! Those UK EPs are in such nice condition. So now that you've got the US set somplete it begs the question...what's next? There always a "next" isn't there. 😃
Always a "next". I just found some nice late-60s US orange label pressings last night! 😃
@@ElvisPresleyInJapan I have a soft place the Orange Label since that was what was being produced when I started collecting, so my initial collection was mostly made up of them, most were flex vinyl though I did my share of "rigids"

@@thomasmurray9249 I'm exactly the same. Many of the first records I bought were post-1977 UK orange label RCA Victor records. I love the early '70s Japanese RCA pressings of the early albums and I always keep an eye out for early US and UK orange label pressings.
I love when a 45rpm has great artwork cover sleeves. I have a Gerry and the Pacemakers with a similar colour advertising sleeve from my last record fair pick up. Keep up your great work😊🤟
You'll have to tell me when you get some Elvis at one of those fairs 😊

Great video again David. I like these particular inner sleeves (that you found on your Double Trouble LP) but on various websites very little information is shared about those kind of inner sleeves. Apperently they came with Rockaway pressings only and the sleeve presents the address of the Rockaway plant.
There are 3 variation of such Rockaway inner sleeves: a red/ black variation and a blue/ white (with and without 8 track catalogue).
All appear with records issued in 1968-1970 timeframe.
I have seen Speedway and On Stage with red/black/ white inner sleeve and own a copy of Camden Let's Be Friends with this one.
I also own a copy of Flaming Star with (blue white without 8track inner sleeve) and Blue Hawaii (rigid orange deep groove label with light blue 8 track inner sleeve).

Hi Dave ,that US pressing of Elvis in mono ,what a gem ya a lucky man ,av just got that UK EP book don’t know if you’ve read it all but it’s a great read really in depth ,a was amazed at how many variations there were on some of the EPs ,totally agree with you when you say it gets you wanting buy ,it did me also ,av a copy of ,good rockin tonight ,but still on the hunt for love me tender ,and the gatefold Xmas EP ,got a very nice tri centre single sleeve of that ,like you a was a bit hesitant on the EP book a thought do a really need it but a love reading these books so a bought it and wasn’t disappointed,got quite a collection of these books now ,pride o place is yours and dick,s Japanese book ,that’s fantastic ,great video Dave take care ,tony 🎸🎶💃👍

I haven't read the Extended EP book from cover to cover but I've had a good look through. I'm probably going to stop with the dozen or so UK EPs I have at the moment, although a nice Peace in the Valley would be nice.
Great to hear you like our book. Have you got any of the Presleyana books? I have a couple of old editions, but I find them a bit of a slog to read with all that text and so few pictures (I sound like a ten-year-old). Have you got a recent edition? I'd be interested to know if they've made the format easier on the eye. Cheers, Tony.
Hi Dave ,a don’t have any of the presleyana books ,I did have one some years ago now but let it go unfortunately when I sold a lot of my collection 15 years ago now ,a can’t remember which volume it was but a remember the text was was on the small side and quite a lot of it ,me only gripe with the UK EP book is ad o preferred a hardback cover but apart from that it’s a really nice book ,take care Dave ,tony 🎸🎶

Beautiful records. I have His Hand In Mine, mono original in shrink wrap. Why does your copy have the living stereo text partially shown in top corner ? ( it seems partially covered by the white back paper)
Both stereo and mono front covers were made from the same, oversized piece of paper called a slick. In the case of my copy, they didn't pull it far enough over the back to completely cover the Living Stereo text with the rear slick.
