- This is a guide to the transistor tester forum thread on svetelektro.com, the Slovak home of the project that has been copied by so many people around the World. This video should be used as a visual history of the project from the start of this thread until August 2017. This is also intended as an index to help you find highlights you may wish to look into further via a translation app. The most interesting projects, in my opinion, are the various PCB revisions made by Tomas Starcock (Tom666), especially the simplified versions intended for mains adapter type power supplies. There are also several very nice and unique DIY versions of the project.
This video is my 4th official transistor tester thread summary.

Hello,
sorry, Tomas Starcock (killerX3) is not tom666 :)
tom 666
Seriously, I'm so sorry dude!
I don't know how I made that mistake. I've been going through all of the different forums about the AVR Transistor Tester project and I felt like I had to note something about all the contributions and helpfulness I keep seeing in so many places. -I felt that way before I even realized Tom666 was one of the first people to contribute to Karl-Heinz project on page 1 of the main 2012 thread on mikrocontroller.net.
Is there a name credit I can add for future content?
Ultimately I hope to use these index videos to create a complete summary of all the DIY projects, create a list of most well documented custom boards available, and create a few videos about how the device works that are language free so anyone can use them.
I'm a couple of years into hobby electronics, so I'm bound to make mistakes. I simply have way too much time on my hands after a broken neck partially disabled me a few years ago. Learning about and working on a project like this is a lot more enjoyable than playing videogames all the time.
All the best,
and again, sorry for the mistake.
-Jake ;)
Hello Jake,
everything is fine :) You do a very meritorious job. Thank you very much for all.
Best regards from Slovakia
Tomas (aka "tom666")

One more question, do I have the language correct? Google Translate says you guys are speaking Slovak. I don't know the differences between languages in your part of the World (sorry I'm a dumb American from the States). Is there a difference between Slovak and Slovakian as far as language?
Thanks for everything you've done with the project. I'm just quoting all the work much smarter people, like you have done ;)
-Jake.
Yes, in my little country is spoken in the Slovak language. Slovak and Slovakian is the same, but difference is between Slovakia (formerly part of Czechoslovakia) and Slovenia (formerly part of Yugoslavia). In Slovenia they speak Slovenian.
