    Hey I really enjoyed your thorough review of this GPX 250! this is an answer to my prayers lol I am a two stroke enthusiast and have really been looking for a good bike that I can get around town on and then hit the trails hard if I chose so. This is the ultimate Hawaii bike I’m so stoked to move back to big island and order one of these slap a street kit on first thing it comes!

      It actually is a great dual sport bike, I mean I would be doing 65mph for extended periods of time on a 2 stroke, but for around town to get to the trails it's great! Thanks again!

    I've decided to purchase the 2021 GPX TSE250R. The 2021 model includes, at no extra charge: larger gas tank, gen 3 exhaust, racing cdi, and racing carburator. The TSE250R 2 Stroke model is by far the best performing/value model in the GPX line-up IMHO. I have a Suzuki DRZ400 for my street bike and could never sell my DRZ. The DRZ is a little heavy, but some weight is needed on a street bike. The TSE250R 2 Stroke will be my dirt bike and with 40-hp at 250-lbs it has the power to weight ratio to catch big air and pull some wheelies - can't wait. Thanks for the great video

    • @LCARSADV
      @LCARSADV  Před 4 lety

      Awesome! I think you’ll really enjoy it, I ended up riding over my drz most of the time. Yeah those upgrades are really nice and those are the ones I have to get for mine. It does not have 40hp btw, I don’t even think the drz has that! Thanks for commenting and keep us updated on your purchase!

    • @Edward-rg8mh
      @Edward-rg8mh Před 4 lety

      @@LCARSADV I understand there is an upgraded thicker skid plate as well. With the gen 3 exhaust - racing carb - racing cdi, the 2021 TSE should be a competitive single track ripper. I'm hoping GPX also addressed the air filter cage seating issue, and the poor key ignition location for the 2021 TSE model, but no problem, these are minor issues and easily rectified. With all these wonderful free upgrades, what an awesome year to be buying the TSE. Glad I've already put down a deposit and locked in the price for the TSE August/September 2021 arrivals. I can't help but think that once GPX gets through this beta stage, the GPX bikes will increase in price. BTW - very well done on your high quality "TSE Full Review" CZcams video!

      I heard in a magazine or thumpertalk that the TSE 250R IS around 40hp with all of the engine mods - ecu's & exhaust alone can set you leahus apart...what could our bikes do with the factory racing ecu mapping??? James Stewart said that he would absolutely NEVER race without being on the factory teams or having the factory racing ecu's. It's crazy what technology can do these days...

    The video was well produced and easy to watch. I hope some day you have an opportunity to compare this bike to the crossfire bikes or the ssr clones. People always want to compare this bike to euro or Japanese bikes. Which really isn't fair. It cost almost exactly half as much. China has really stepped up their game. These sure aren't in the league of the old China bikes.

      There is the specifications of the GPX Moto TSE 250R engine. It is an electric start, oil-injected Yamaha WR 220 engine, beautifully crafted to fit within a Husqvarna chassis/frame. The whole GPX Moto package really REALLY impressed me in person. Would have never guessed that the price was that low after hearing & seeing what parts make up the DNA of this hard-charging, enduro-inspired dirt bike production line. People currently search for the WR and KDX 200 & 220 from the 90s...so why not just purchase the 2021 GPX Moto TSE 250R, and get this wonderful engine package updated with 2020 technology??? It's a no brainer!!! I'm adding one of these to my fleet - NO ifs, ands, or buts!!!! The 2021 is a beast @ 5k!!! NOTHING compares to it for that price - NOT EVEN the new Kawasaki KLX300R that is fuel injected in 2020!!! The parts are no where near the same quality!

      @@LCARSADV All bikes are a compromise on function vs reliability and price. A 4S making 39/40 hp from 250cc faces huge technical problems of internal pressure, wear surfaces, metal fatigue and heat dissipation. The manufacturers could probably solve these problems with big $ R&D, specialty materials etc, but why bother - how much market share is there for $20,000 uber dirt bike?? Their only interest is selling at a profit, keeping shareholders happy. They do enough R&D to stay competitive and keep customer money flowing in. Pro's have sponsors that provide bikes etc, and trade up bikes yearly if not every 6 months.

    • @LCARSADV
      @LCARSADV  Před 3 lety

      Well the TSE is lighter and it feels lighter which make it really nice for single track. But I really do love the 300 for its torque and grunt as it really is a nice engine, but the TSE engine is more “fun” because it’s a two stroke. You also have to think about Range, the TSE maybe 65 miles and the fse gets 100 miles to the tank. It’s really a 4 stroke vs 2 stroke preference. But I may give an edge to the 300 even though it’s a little heavier. Plus fuel injection is nice. I know this is hard to put a pin on, but really both bikes are great.

      @@LCARSADV Its never been real hard to get parts for my old hondas, (84 xl250r, assortment of 80s 3 wheelers). I was looking for a decent xr400 but I couldnt find one. I'm pretty happy with the ktm400. Its got a bit more power than the xr400 my cousin had.

    KTM owners would do less engine rebuilds if they would ignore the stupud 60 to 1 premix and use 40 to 1.

      Wow you literally don’t know anything about this brand then. Yeah that stereotype does apply to many Chinese products but not GPX. I’ve beat the shut out of 3 of these bikes and they are on par with ktm. Please do some research before trashing a brand. You’ll be surprised if you ride one.
