It happens during the best of years, so it goes without saying that it happened in 2020: some things just fell through the cracks! For the last MrMobile video of the year, I’m purging the backlog to share overdue thoughts on products I didn’t get around to covering, from earbuds to electric cars … heck, there’s even a smart telescope in there! And in addition to just tying up loose ends, I talk about my coverage plans for 2021 - which is good news for foldables and fun phones, and not so much for more mainstream mobiles. You might be surprised about how many petrolheads/car fans actually rock up to watch car vids -- especially ones as well-produced, and entertaining as yours. For a lot of that community, Top Gear/Grand Tour were the go-to for quirky, entertaining car reviews with a splash of comedy and Top Gear is a shell of what it was, and the Grand Tour guys who used to do Top Gear are only going to do road-trip specials. So there is a huge hole in our car-loving hearts that vids like the ones on your channel might fill!

I remember doing something similar back a couple years ago, but I stopped doing that and I’m glad I did. You don’t need to advertise to get a good audience.

I only found you this year thanks to Austin Evans but man you’ll really helped keep my eyes and ears open on tech this year and even given me curiosity to products I gave the stink eye at first. Mr Mobile, just an idea:
You could make a side channel for other, more gerneral Tech so you don't have to worry about things like with the EVs.
Thanks for the suggestion! I really like that MrMobile has always included more than just phones since day one ... but it's been a learning experience figuring out the boundares of what I can and can't get away with.
@@TheMrMobile adding to the suggestion. the tech we can carry in our pockets or backpack in the main channel. the other tech gadgets we can't carry in pocket or backpack like ev, general vlogs, your experiences, reviews of any stuff that you would like to share ,studio upgrades and anything you like to share with us in the side channel.
@MrMobile [Michael Fisher] The advantage with this would lie in that you wouldn't have to worry about the quality affecting the way your main channel is treated by the algorithm and so you could just post on the secondary channel whenever you are worried, that the quality of the video does not suffice or further increacing quality would be very time consuming. Or you can give your take on released tech without or before extensively reviewing it.
Always love your videos! I’m a fan of a lot of tech channels, but yours has a real charm and stand out as one of my favorites to watch! Keep up the great work in 2021!

Hey man been watching your stuff since the HTC One X review and i don't plan on stopping anytime soon. I appreciate you venturing out as phones are definitely getting boring, but every now and then I like to stop and remember how far we've come in such a short amount of time and it never ceases to amaze me. I really like the idea of combining phone review’s with electric car ones. One of the reasons why you’re my favourite reviewer is because you test products in the real world and actually show the viewer this process rather than just talking about it from a white room. Keep up the awesome work!

Bro I think you may be my spirit animal! From the consistent subtle and not-so-subtle Star Trek placements (including an L cars interface on a Lenovo laptop thank you very much) to the well-written script and professional delivery of the content to the sharp wardrobe and home decor, I'm really digging this channel. Plus I like that you shoot straight on product negatives, but in a way that makes me feel like you were rooting for the product to win but you have to break the honest bad news. Excellent work!

I didn't even know you reviewed cars it's awesome! I think generally I prefer to watch 10-15min videos max, maybe other people feel that way too! But compacting a car review in such a short time can be a challenge.

But this innovative approach to making new series' on different subjects related to technology is very interesting to watch and gives some much needed horizontal room for your channel. As some one that worked at a cart in the mall selling Nokia face plates in the late 90’s and then went on to slinging Sprint at Radio Shack in the early 2000s, I loved your when phones were fun series. It really brought me back to the good old days of cell phone innovation.

2, regarding the cars, I agree with tying them into the road trip stuff you’ve been doing. Great way to talk about not only the car (briefly) but also charging infrastructure, internal tech, and how well it ties into other mobile tech and how it all either helped or hindered the road trip experience. Just my two cents.
Watching Micheal's review of every product is just very informative, with good sorting, great editing, pretty visuals, and the way he talks makes me feel like I have tons of money to buy every product he reviewed (though the reality I'm not rich as hell), this channel have a soft spot in my favourite CZcamsr.
