I have had the Canyon Spectral CF 7 for about 2 years and I love it. It almost looks exactly like your Lux, down to the paint. Except the rear shock attachment on the Spectral is on the front of the frame. Very nice... I'm sure you will love it.
So far it's been great the little I've been able to ride it. I want to race it and compare it to my old Specialized epic

How does it feel on the downhills? I've read that doesn't do too well at suppressing the small bumps, though that was the 2022 Canyon Trail Lux CF 6. This look like an incredible bike!
I find the bike very capable. I just accidently published a video where I take it down an advanced rock trail (Lynx) and the suspension just eats up the rocks. Lynx is a rocky trail, but it's rare for the front tire to have to roll up and over anything. All the rocks flow down. I do find the bike firm on drop landings, but it's not built for that. 1-2' drop no problem, anything bigger and it rough with my set up. I've been working on a review, but it takes time.
Awesome bike! I've always eye-balled the Lux. Have you taken it on it's maiden run yet?
Mainly pedaling. I've hit a small jump and some drops too. The dropper makes this bike capable of so much. Now it's seeing how fast it is.
Would be interesting in comparing your starva times with a newer xc bike
I'm doing just that but compared to the older one. I don't have room in the garage or wallet for a true new xc bike.
How do you like the bike?
So far so good. I'm hoping it's fast enough to replace the old xc race bike.
