- New EMTB! Canyon Review and detailed walk around. Just a regular guy doing a review.
This bike's paint job is actually a light grey color. It looks white in bright light but grey in the dark room...Pretty cool.
What a great Review! Thanks a lot! I´ve just ordered my Spectral on 7!
Great review. Love it. I'm getting one when I hit the lotto...lol. How is the elctric up mild slopes?
Thanks for the video. What is the reference of your rear mudguard?
Hello, can you tell me your height and what size bike you got ? I am 5’8’ with a 29’ inseam and acordding to their size chart they are recommending a size small for me, on all my bikes I ride a size medium , I am a little leary to order a small , would you say Canyon frames run larger ? Thanks for the help
Hi there! How did you fix the EP8 problem- turn on them shuts off?- thank you for your help
Hello Raff, can you tell me the weight without the battery?😊
Great indepth video!
I, the wells are tubeless ready?
I’m getting error e010 what should I do
Hi, very good in depth video of the bike. I just got mine yesterday.. I noticed that the chain when you put it on the smallest cog, it touches the rubber guard. I called canyon snd they want me to send them a quick video of it. What do you think about it. Is your bike does the same?
Hi. I have noticed the chain touching the rubber chain guard, but it doesn't do that when I am pedaling. It could be one or two extra links on your chain...I know that if it is a problem, Canyon sometimes will ask you to take it to a local bike shop and have them look at the chain...possibly take out a few links and that can help not touch the guard. Which color or model did you buy?
Thanks for responding to my question. I will check that out. I got the redish one…
@@arkisaints9363 Oh thats awesome! Yeah, let me know what you think of that color. I didn't have a real life look at that color, so I went for the one I have...this color looks white out in the sun, but when in a dim or dark room, it is actually grey...its pretty cool. Congrats on your bike!
did you get that chain problem resolved?
@@Djrblocks360 they said its normal…
nice bike i just sold my divinci have to tell you i loved that bike but the specs on this are nice and its carbon i bought the some thing in red it looks more purple but i dont care i did want the white like yours but thats all they had i picked it up for $3900 plus tax with all the discounts i feel like i stole this bike! thanks for the video it pushed me to buy it.....
Sat on a carbon Spectral. Pedaled a carbon spectral. The frame crunched at the seattube/toptube and the headtube. There exists a pronounced weight limit for any carbon frame. And I am a old believer that full-suspension carbon is for the wealthy weight weenies. It offers little ride/weight saving benefit. Now, a carbon hardtail all-mountain e-bike. That be worthy of an investment.
Wow, the carbon frame crunched? just pedaling? no jumps or crash? Also, I am not a wealthy weight weenie either, I work hard and saved to buy this bike. This brand of bike was the best deal I can find. I believe if people can get a good deal on any emtb, whether carbon or aluminum, then so be it.
THANKS FOR THE REGULAR GUY SHOW OF THIS BIKE I HAVE MY EYE ON. IM CONCERNED OF THAT MAGNETIC DOOR AT THE BOTTOM COMING LOSE ON AGGRESSIVE RIDES.
Thanks for the encouragement! Honestly, I have actually hit that area of the bike a few times and done about 90 miles now, and the magnetic door has not even come off or loosen up. It takes some pulling pressure to remove that door. I would not let that be an issue of buying the bike. I get so many compliments on the trails.. I just had a few guys today that told me it was a sweet looking bike.
The bottom is safeguarded well with that rubber strip. The electric access door on the left is something that could be better protected against accidental foot contact, but hasn't come off so far here either. I guess there will be better solutions in the future, but for now, I wouldn't hesitate because of this.
Technical uphill trails might be more challenging because of that deep battery compartment in front of the motor, but so far only slight rock contact was made here☺️
Daamn i should have got this one instead of my orbea rise h30! Love my orbea rise its poppy and agile compare to my 3 old full fat emtb, but i like this one looks good daaaamn! I Was in between this and orbea rise! Im assuming this bike ride as just some other full fat emtb isn’t?
The Orbea is a great bike as well...I have ridden other emtb, but just fell in love with this bike, brand and the pricing. It is not too heavy, i think it is like sub 21 kg. The bike rides amazing! It is agile and fun to be on. once the rear tire(2.6) is bald, I will be probably going to a 2.4 or 2.5 tire...make it alittle faster.
Are there already problems with electricity?
how is the quality of CANYON MTBs in general in comparison to trek, specialized, or ktm?
I believe Canyon's QC is on Par with any of those manufacturers. When I got mine, it was right on...no issues, just a minor issue on the motor area that I touched on in the video. But it was cosmetic...nothing that would effective the ride quality or safety. If I had to do it over again 100 times, I would still go with Canyon. I now have over 100 miles on the bike and rides just like new...no issues at all. Extremely happy with my purchase.
I've been riding a canyon for 3 years. No complaints
Is it actually kind of grey? Or is it white?
Its actually really light grey...but you can't tell until it is in a dim or dark area. If the sun light hits it, it looks white..but it is awesome.
Hows the motor on climbs?
The motor has been soooo reliable. It is extremely powerful. The nice thing about the canyon, it has two profiles. So I have used the profile 1, which I set up for low to medium assist on all levels. The profile 2 is where I have every level almost to medium to high assist. But I basically don't even need the profile 2. This thing has so much power that I don't need the additional power.
Please fix your stem. You have to first tighten both top screws and after that both lower screws. There should be no gap on the top.
Man, I have been so many miles on this bike...I am around 125 miles already.
