In this video we’ll sort it out together.
The principles of balancing a gimbal are the same for all of them. This is also valid for GoPro Hero 6, Hero 7, Hero 8 and Hero 9.

Great job. Thoroughly done. Unfortunately my Go Pro 8 still won’t balance on the tilt axis (too back heavy). Maybe it needs to be recalibrated? Thanks again.
Ahhh damn. I cannot help furhter then lol. Calibration doesn't matter when the gimbal is off. You might need a counter weight in the front the if the camera is back heavy

Great video. This really helped. Strange, but I found the only way to balance my Hero 8 was to use the long slot on the mounting plate.

Actually at time stamp 9:40, you can get perfect balance on this motor but you need to use a standard GoPro tightening bolt. You are then able to have the bolt the other way so its weight acts to the right of the camera. With this weight moved to the right you are now able to balance it perfectly. I use the Smatree adapter also from Amazon.

I kid you not... I bought this gimbal for a ZV1 and could never balance it because it is my least favorite task... you made this gimbal process literally so easy! I balanced my Hero 10 and now have more than just a paper weight of a Crane M2

Any issues using it with gopro10? I'm looking for the best overall one. I have isteady pro4 which already lost button connection to the gopro and I can't fix it. I also have inkee falcon plus but it doesn't have motion time lapse in the app which I would like.
Can this gimbal go in inverted mode? Will be using a GoPro H9. Little worried it can’t as there’s no information online and a few having issues with it. Would be attaching a long selfie stick and holding it low to the ground for skating

Thanks so much for the informative video! It seems like the GoPro is literally upside down, it's a shame it doesn't rotate around like with other Gimbals

Hi Diana. I had the screw in the gimbal when I purchased it. It is the screw used to attach the smartphone mount to the gimbal. Do not you have one?

Great gimbal and easy to balance after watching the vid thanks, but the zy play app is the worse for Android phone owners. Can not get a stable Bluetooth connection with the phone and gimbal and can't get any connection between hero 8 and crane m2.

just triple checking before I buy . . . so you CAN use a GP INSIDE a media mod on this Gimbal? Can I mount lights and external mic on the side of this gimbal?
@@teslasuperdestinations hello Tesla. Thanks for the comment. Yes, as Roy said, you can use the Gopro inside the MediaMod on the Crane M2. On the side of the gimbal you will have one 1/4 inch thread to attach the accessories. If you attach a cold shoe adapter to the thread, then you could attach a dual cold shoe mount for the microphone and the small light.
