lol I was literally listening to this song then decided to see if anyone did a bass cover and here you are. Easily the best song from their debut. Killer as usual, man! 👍
Wow! What a grinding tone. You nailed every note and the complete lyrical emotion of that solo. Lemmy's best and I'm very impressed. Thoroughly enjoyed this.
That is really VERY good mate. It definitely was one of his nibs' finest outings. I see in your other videos a couple more covers to check out, the most bleeding obvious one being Stay Clean so that's next.....I must admit a bit of me was hoping to see you having had a go at Orgone Accumulator, my personal gateway drug to Lemmy.
This song remind me when I went to Brighton on my Norton with some old mates insured in my dads name lots of special brew and Vicodin I could bearly hold on to the handle bars half way I caught up with my friend Toby and took most of his prescription amphetamines good times love the early Motörhead have you done a cover of you better run ?
This is absolutely top class - I get it if you don’t wanna give away the “secret ingredients” to the sound but aside from the Rick 4003 how do you get the sound? Wicked stuff man it sounds godly
Thank you! There's not really a secret ingredient as such, as i said in another comment, for this i used one of the guitar amp presets that come with logic x for mac. It's a preset called "brit and clean" which i tweak until I think it sounds ok.
@@BasEirik well whatever you tweaked it to you did a good job mate because it sounds basically identical to the album. Definitely one of Motörhead’s most underrated songs. Would’ve loved to have seen this played live with the Campbell/Mikkey Dee lineup
@@TxTdangerCFAL You mean the Live at Aylesbury Friars version? Yeah he plays the solo a little bit different there. I'm not surprised, I think Lemmy often improvised his parts a little!
@@TxTdangerCFAL Oh, or you´re talking about Burner? Yeah I played some of the guitar stuff also just because I thought it would be cool + I couldn't hear the bass that well in some places. But yeah I should've done my research and checked out some live version, I'll keep that in mind for the next cover.
This is probably the best cover of this song that I've been able to find so far!

lol, nice coincidence. The stars are aligned. Thanks dude :)

Very good.
Excellent ! Was thinking to do this cover some months ago but I gave up... Really nice work as usual Eirik !!
BTW that solo edit was great, hahaha !
@@JacquesF Haha, extra special FX ;) Check out my tutorial for the solo. I'm sure you can do it!
@@BasEirik Yes I already had a look on it, great idea for the tutorial. In fact this is the only part of the song I have learned some months ago, lol
Ur freakin awesome dude!!!🤘😎 U must be possesed by kilmeisters Ghost or something🤘
👏👏👏👌😎
GREAT ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
top
Is this eb tuned as the album in standard.. fantastic cover!
Thank you! 😊 I think the tuning on this one is kind of in between Eb and standard if I remember correctly
Hi. What pedals and strings are you using ? Thanks
If you want this sound: buy a motörbass pedal! It will spare you the cost of a rickenbacker and a Marshall amp.
this is badass but do u know where to get the tab for the whole song?
Do burner pls

@@BasEirik man, was a great cover, you got the tone
But, has you ever see Lemmy playin' that song live?
I think he play's a little different way of your cover

Tabs?
You can check out the video lesson i made for this song
@@BasEirik found it. Thanks!
Polite suggestion - our body posture has more of an effect on tone and dynamics than we think.
Perhaps try the next song standing up?
Also, are you doing the EQ trick that Lemmy always used? Bass 0, Middle 10, Treble 0, with a little bit of Presence
I think the sitting down made it sound better in this songs case
Nice job.
