Hope you enjoyed episode 1 season 2
How can I get a cast like this?
Dude! You would do a good Homelander!
Awesome tutorial Chris, and so entertaining! Can you post the link of where you got the helmet kit from? Thanks!
If Chris dyed his hair blonde he would make a great Homelander
Lol yea
Is he fan of The Boys, never see him talk about it, i never see him do R rated cosplay before
He should defo do it though
True
@@allthingsnerdy5474 He did the Crow. That's an R Rated film. And the Witcher is hardly family friendly.
For your chrome finishes, I suggest using Alclad II Lacquer Gloss Klear Kote ALC 310. it hasn't dulled the chrome finishes on any of my pieces.
I'm actually suprised the chrome held up as well as it did. Adam Savage always says to use molotow chrome and alclad 2 sealer for a perfect chrome result, that's what I found to be the only thing working aswell. Love it man !
It did, but I don't like the texture in it. But maybe that's inevitable with spray cans.
@@ARFF1Tampa probably a crappie nozzle
Wow, just wow, incredible paint job Chris
I love it Chris it is definitely high quality. Hopefully hasbro sells one
I think they do. It’s definitely not a good one though.
They are making a Mando helmet. It just got revealed yesterday.
April 2021
Chris, one day you should tackle a Deathstroke or even a gnarly looking Shredder!! Great job btw, completely nailed it!💥🤘
Great Job Chris, congratulations...!!!!
I love how it makes your voice sound when you put it on too
Amazing job Chris! you never disappoint.
That is a thing of beauty. Amazing work!
It looks extremely good. Awesome job Chris.
That looks absolutely fantastic!
This looks amazing chris, fantastic work. Really tempted to give this ago
Brilliant! almost finished printing my armor. I live in Canada so I have the same problems with paint. Looking forward to air brushing. This project was so much bigger then I thought.
Fantastic video Chris ! I love this helmet .
Can't wait for all the Mando cosplays at Comic Con. Finally something different than My Hero Academia everywhere.
@Alex_Hayashi
Honestly, you say it like that but if more people did MHA cosplay like Chris does his stuff, I wouldn't mind at all.
Just imagine how much better these costumes would look with realistic hair, textured outfits, weathered components etc.
I cannot believe how good this looks
You knocked this one out of the park, my man! Epic!
This is the cosplay
It looks incredible!!!!!!
Wow you totally nailed it!
Omg this helmet is amazing I'm so jealous! Congrats on the finished look!!
This looks absolutely freaking amazing dude, looks just like it
This is the highest quality one ive seen. Great Job.
18:33 “I’ve learnt so much along the way.”
Hehehe...this is the way
Fantastic. Love the method, worth every penny 👌
I just bought the black series version, can't wait!

Awesome stuff. Great job.
Awesome work!
Great video as always Chris
love your content man keep it up! cosplayers always do it best
That was the most sensual intro to a video I've ever seen!
Looks pretty dope Chris.
Is it just me or does Chris look a lot like Anthony Starr? (Homelander)
I've said it before multiple times, chris should make a homelander cosplay, it would be awsome
Ye I can see the resemblance
Or does everyone look like Chris?????????????
He looks like Starlord from Guardians of the Galaxy
Literally best replica ever
looks awesome
You had me by the intro, you should make the whole suit
Great work!
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Great job! I also like the black gloss look .. (Dan from Inside the booth)
damn Chris! You've had some brilliant builds but this is definitely the best so far, really really great work!!
Unus annus unnus anus
Amazing... congratulations
This is a spicy boi indeed. Amazing video much love and honestly it looks Incredible
Damn! that came up real nice! great job Chris makes me think I should try this myself instead of getting the very expensive official one lol.
The most gorgeous geek on CZcams ❤️
Hahahaha too good when you pulled out the bucket!!!
top-notch good sir
This is the Way Chris. Love the paint job on the Helmet can't wait to see the full cosplay with the Child in the baby knapsack and the Hawaiian shirts. Should defiantly have the Beskar Shoulder Pauldrons with the mudhorn signet on the one. you could apply the same airbrush method to both Pauldrons. Chris you are my favorite cosplayer in the whole world and i hope you have a great Halloween and what ever you do don't fall asleep. Stay Safe Be Silly and Always Remember Cosplayers Do it Best.
The place where you got the visor material has such a creative name
That came out amazing, the reflection and texture especially! I'm planning on using this process on 3-D printed pieces, what tips would you all reccomend with application and prepping the 3-D prints?
Chris the Goat
Hey man you should make the bow-parts on the Sides under the visor matt, just Like the screen used prop to achieve a bigger contrast. They also did it with the Vader mask back in the day.
Chris this looks better than the $650 Anovos helmet. This is amazing work. The weathering is spot on. Teach me your ways. Well technically you just did. I am so happy that you didn’t use the screen used paint as now I feel like making this is sort of achievable (nvm it still isn’t, lol, I don’t have the skill)
Haven't watched you in a while mate
You've got a lot more....sweary
I think i like it😁
Awesome job on that bucket matey
Alclad themselves make the best sealant for chrome that doesn’t dull it down.
Bad ass dude!
Nailed. It!
I have used Alclad Chrome for years while building Gundam Models. And I've found that there are very little top coats you can use on their chrome, where it won't either eat straight through it, or make dull. Which is why I decided to use something different on my Mando Helm.
What did you use that was different? I work with ALCLAD, and don't always love it....
@@3DRundown so I ended up using a Titanium color for AK. I wanted a bit of a darker shade, so I sprayed it over gloss black. And I think it looks great.
I was waiting for this my favourite Aussie cosplayer

This is the way 😎

That's fkn awesome
Love from the UK 🇬🇧❤️🇬🇧
7:52 I caught on to that one!
13:33 There's an early 1990's saying here in the 'States... "It ain't fun if the homies can't see none!"
It looks great. I actualy envy you since you're about to go into summer down under. Sucks for me in the northern hemisphere. All that time of what should have been...
Muy buen trabajo 😊😊😊 saludos desde España
That mini montage alone should have a stand alone video.
😱😍 Don’t ever take it off Chris!
Awesome.
"It sticks like shit to a blanket" BUAHAHAHAH I died with that xD
I have alumaluster and the Alclad 2 chrome. I can’t tell the difference when they are apart but next to each other, it is very close. The alclad is slightly lighter in tone
Looks amazing. Will you be doing the full suit
might i suggest useing bakeing acetate plastic sheets and car windwo tint or tamiya clear colours for the visors on all helmets; the plastic can be cut with scissors and no heat gun needed to shape it
I *always* dunk rattle cans in warm water before using them. It always help
Looks amazing what size air brush nozzle did you spray the alcad with, also why didn't you use the Alcad clear coat to finish it? Thanks
Looks great! Any reason you didn't do a graphite rub approach?
Graphite will resist the 2k, graphite looks good but will constantly need to be re-applied and buffed. It shows every oily fingerprint when you handle it. Graphite would be good for a show piece but not a cosplay wearable IMHO.
AWESOME
The finish of the helmet kinda looks like Mando has been in a sandstorm or something, which is a really cool look
That Joker painting in the background is cool, where’d you get it?
0:51 yup yup to are totally right
It's alum-a-luster you doink!
After I painted my helmet chrome it looked pretty good but I clear coated it with a 2k max pretty thick. And it was shiny but it gave the whole helmet a candy paint look and it no longer looked like metal is the because the thickness of my coat or simply the clear coat I used or maybe something else?
love the helmet but i wanna know what mic setup he used at the end? it sounded perfect.
I’ve noticed that people forget an important detail on the helmet, on those ear things the sides have a brighter “Y” shape or whatever it’s called. Is you look closely to a lot of images of the show you’ll see it.
Would love to get one of your Mando helmets
He only made this one man
@@MrSeanmcgall yeah I know , just wishful thinking 💭
I used that exact same lacquer. I didnt get half a good a shine as you did. Still happy with it though.
Awesome! How do we get our hands on a resin cast helmet?
Hey, Chris! Love videos of customizing things. I sent you a package with a large inquisitor figure. Just wondering if you got it. Thanks for all you do!
Wind: a
Chris: HEY HEY HEY HEY
Looks great! One small thing, the visor doesn't come down far enough.
Looks great. I just always disliked the bumpy texture result that spray cans usually give, but you can only really see it up close tilted when light hits it. If you don't like the bumps texture in it I'd do it all with an airbrush. Almost impossible to not get that result with a spray can doing any type of full spray at home. And the airbrush gives such a fine perfect coat that it actually picks up the bumps from the black spray can instead of hiding them or covering them up. Maybe the original is even like that, who knows. Anyway, great work as always and you always seem to go above and beyond in trying to find the best materials and procedures for the job.
Can you share any additional information regarding the acrylic sheet you used for the visor? Do I need to look for anything particular regarding the ability to see through the visor? Is it just a standard black acrylic sheet? Not sure if I'm asking the question in the correct way. Any additional info you can provide so I can source the right item is helpful. Thanks!
Where can I get this resin cast? It looks so much cleaner than the 3D printed ones I see everywhere.
did you put a clear coat over the burn sienna weathering? working on mine and it's my first time. also, thanks for the video!
The best paint work on a Mando helmet. Great job!
Did you sand the primer coat smooth before spraying your black base coat?
