Jordan, you said the AMEX benefits cost Mexican residents $2,000 a year & USA residents $695 per year? which, even with all the benefits, BOTH prices sound outrageous. but why?? how is it those costs are justified when the US dollar goes further in Mexico than the peso does in the USA.
and did you request the suite you booked be properly vacuumed after you saw all the grit the cleaners missed?? I hope so because that was really gross!!, LoL!!😖
@@DiandraStarShine why would you ask questions like these? What is going on with you? Lol
Love your hairstyle Jordan 🙂👍💖
Stoked for this! Heading back to Vegas again soon!
We almost always stay at Wynn or Encore, and now I'm reminded why. I could not stay in a room that hadn't been cleaned properly, not even for free. I've been going to Vegas for 45 years, so I've seen a few things, but still find your videos informative and entertaining. Thanks!
Almost laughable to mention Conrad in the same sentence for level comparison as Wynn/Encore, particularly considering the cleanliness factor.
I find it just as hard to buy into Conrad being a level higher than Venetian / Palazzo.
To each their own opinion, I guess.
As a platinum card holder, I need to use this more often!
Oh hey Jon, good to see you here! For most destinations, to get a Fine Hotels and Resorts booking, it's going to run you $400+/night. However, I love FHR for Vegas because there are usually several options in the $100/night range. To get all of those benefits for $100/nt hotel...you can't beat it.
@@dennisss3974 From what I know about it, in the US they'll give it to pretty much anyone who's willing to pay the annual fee, as long as you have good to excellent credit.
Don’t you vloggers get to write off your hotel stay as a business expense on taxes?
@@PJL7095 That would depend if they created LLC or some other type of business structure. Not sure if the expenses can be written off on personal taxes.
@@dennisss3974 I make around 50,000 and have good credit. Just to give you can idea.
OMG I love this Vegas CONTENT keep it coming Jordan 🥰
That's crazy that you do such COMPLETELY different topics on your vids.
But you do a FANTASTIC job on all of 'em :D
Thank you for the great review Jordan. The pricing at the Conrad is definitely something to take advantage of. Sounds like you enjoyed eating like a king 👑
Good video, totally agree.
I stayed at Conrad a few months ago, was nice, really stood out as a very good value - esp considering it was on short notice during a slammed weekend so everything else that wasn't booked was ridiculously pricey. In general Resorts world has a cool vibe, its upscale, new and clean but approachable.
Viva was my fav restaurant there, some good stuff in the food court as well.
Most thorough review I’ve ever heard on CZcams. Excellent work and thank you!
Love seeing your Vegas content. Its not only what led me to your channel, it has also led me to find many other Vegas channels in this space. Love following all of your content, but the Vegas videos definitely hold a special place in my heart. 💞
Yes same for me!
For a newly constructed hotel, I find that room to be very spacious. A lot of newly built or renovated places try to pack more rooms in and they can feel cramped.
Agree with Vicki. The Wynn and Encore 100% of the time. Once you stay there, they mail you fantastic room rates with food credits. Excellent restaurants as well.
Glad to finally see a decent review on this one. We booked in April despite the reviews and had our fingers crossed. This video makes me feel a little better on our choice. One night here, one at Bellagio to lax the benefits. Not holding our breath on the upgrade though, as we will be staying on a Sat night, but it would be a nice surprise.
Jordan, I watched many of your videos and found them to be very informative even to a Las Vegas "regular". What I don't see but would be interested in is your review of the downtown hotels. Please consider that subject for a future project. Thanks
Jordan Thanks for all the information 🙏 I feel like I learn a lot about traveling just from watching your videos 😎👍🏻. And thank you so much for being so “HONEST” on your reviews … I love your videos and reviews from Mexico 🇲🇽… I love Mexico… you are teaching us a lot !!
Wish you the best !!
A. G .
Speaking as an American, we as a society have long forgotten patience and respect. It's all about instant gratification. When you are speaking customer representative anywhere it's about being personable and respectful. Those little touches can really help you out. They have all the power, not the other way around.
Jordon, Thanks for all the helpful tips! It was a lovely hotel.
Loving the Vegas content, thanks!
I live in Las Vegas, and the views of the locals are different than people visiting, but I've not been to Conrad but seeing your video I think I'll go check it out. Thank you
FYI - Conrad is no longer part of Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts
The hacks and explaining how they worked was great.
Great information! Thank you 😊
Those rooms are really nice there and relatively inexpensive. Good choice Jordan.
Looking out at the city on the chaise was a treat
We’ve stayed 3 times at the RW Conrad and LOVED it!! Staff was awesome! Delicious food!
3 times! That's quite impressive considering it hasn't been open that long!
Nice to see you back in Vegas.
Great video Jordan! Really informative
Great tips. Very fun, entertaining and informative!
I didn't know there was a tram. Thank you for all the details. Great review!
Thx for the Amex tip. Had no idea and we have had them for ages.
Wow such great perks! Great video!
Thanks, Matthew!
Excellent review. Great info
Vegas videos are theeeeee best
Last time on December I stayed a little bit off the strip south area of the strip after the airport (I stayed in a Hilton Home 2) but I really liked, I think has been the best place to stay in Vegas ever for me - but I always rent a car, I prefer to drive in Vegas
I had the exact same room a few months ago. Conrad was not available on FHR at that time. Instead, I booked through a travel agent with Hilton
Impressaro which gets basically the same benefits as FHR.
Great video Jordan! Thanks for all the hacks
Thank you! Glad you've found them helpful!
Wow good job packed with good info. never been to vegas maybe some day but I like to spend my money in mexico.
Not a fan of Vegas, but really like how you organize, analyze and present in your videos. These have a great value for people who don’t go to Vegas often and really want to know how maximize their value in Sin City.
You do the best room tour Thank you
Good review, but that’s pretty funny that you said you can take a tram if you wanna go south from your hotel, and you showed a video of the Aria tram.
I’ve been a local for 14 years, and I can tell everybody one thing, you are not gonna walk from the Conrad, and get to the aria tram and have that help you out a great deal. LOL
That Conrad to tram mention, was misinformation!
Another great video
Jordan - in older videos you mentioned booking rooms directly through the hotel website...is this Amex trick the exception to the rule (and you recommend checking both)? Really enjoy your videos, your site is my first ever youtube subscription! Keep them up please!!
I think there was some kind of drama when they first opened, I don’t remember the details, but something about how they had a whole bunch of five star reviews before they had even opened to guests staying there.
Your hair looks great! Thanks for the honest review of the Conrad! I usually stay at the Wynn or Encore; do you have any money saving tips for staying at either of those?
Thanks! Wynn and Encore are some of my favorite hotels on the strip! As for money saving tips... You can book those hotels through Fine Hotels and Resorts, the travel program I'm talking about in this video, and get most of these perks there as well. Also, sign up for their casino loyalty program because even if you don't gamble or gamble very little (like me) you'll still get some room offers occasionally. For example, I stayed at Encore this trip because I got an email offer from them where the rooms were $109/night + resort fee and I would get $100 resort credit and $25 free play. And then I combined that with an offer from my Amex Platinum that got me $60 back on a $300 purchase at Wynn/Encore. So, when all was said and done I booked 2 nights at $109/nt + resort fee and received $185 of free stuff.
There's also the Wynn Slots app that we talk about in the video we made about how we get free rooms in vegas. That might also be worth looking into although it's not the awesome thing that it once was.
Thanks for mentioning the cleanliness
Jordan, not everyone is aware of these credits available. Your higher class people don't miss $100.00 like a lower wage earner would miss $100.00. I'm glad you've taken the time pointed this out. I want to enjoy Las Vegas with every penny I have, or can get!
Jordan, great video, looking forward to staying there. By chance could you maybe do a Vegas Amex Platinum 2022 status upgrade video or find out if there are any other ways to get Caesdars Diamond now that Wyndham is not allowing status match or some people are saying "it's on hold for a while". Or if there are any ways to get MGM Rewards Gold through Amex Platinum. I frequent Vegas but don't hit the tables alot...Thank you
God bless u always and happy new year and be safe. Baltimore MD 🙏
Thank you Jordan
The HILTON IS SUPER NICE TOO.
I WAS THERE EARLY THIS MONTH AND WAS A GREAR STAY.
Agreed about Wynn/Encore. Very luxe.
Excellent hack bro
Love the Conrad!
Great honest Review, I’m going too subscribe too your channel 👍
Hi from sweden Great video
Hi. What a fun, different life you live:) See you on Saturday.
Wow, lots of Perks!
You are not the first to question the cleanliness of these rooms. It puts me off of ever staying there.
I'll take a few stray crumbs and m&ms for a brand new room. 😂
Awesome room
I would've loved to see what foods you ate Jordan.
that was so much fun watching you wheel and deal imagine if you had paid full price for that room and found the carpet hadnt been vacummed since they opened. no wonder they get bad reviews.
Kind of making me miss living in Vegas and seeing the light on top of the Luxor from my apartment.
Hey Jordan, for the room upgrade did you have to have to ask or did they just give it to you because of your Amex plat. card membership?
I didn't have to ask for the upgrade. It's one of the perks of Fine Hotels & Resorts and they see that they're supposed to upgrade me right there on their screen.
About the cleanliness: the worker shortage is impacting the hotel industry pretty badly. It may be that management is forced to have cleaning personnel move more quickly than they’d like due to a lack of staff. 🤷🏻♀️
Double decker probably most convenient to use for strip travel
You should do a review of the the deuce bus that goes to Freemont st... not the best ride but you can get a all day pass that rides up and down the strip...
You go a good job, kid.
I love VEGAS VLOGS AND LASKA
WOW!!!!! Awesome video!! I watched it twice. Pretty cool Hotel. I was there last year and saw the Resorts world. Sounds like you got an awesome deal. Hope you and Maddie are are still close friends. Do you talk to her much? just curious. ok stay safe. Hey wheres the dog Alaska?????
Nice room! I never spend that much time in my room! We have had some nice suites but never got that much enjoyment out of the room.
Are you still in Vegas?
I went the week it opened, the parking was very far from the entrance (luckily i went at night and wasn’t hot) didn’t like that I never went back -I spend 5 months in Vegas in 2021
Do more of your money saving videos.
welcome to VEGAS!
Hey Jordan!!! Amazing vids buddy! I've been watching all of your vids in preperation for my almost 2 week stay in Vegas. I have a question! If I book via Fine Resorts and Hotel with my AMEX Plat, will I still be able to call the casino host the day before checking out and ask them to review my play history to request potential comps? I know you said you have to book directly to utilize this hack but wanted to double check. Thank you! I wanted to also let you know I used your Amex referral (but I'm guessing you referred enough people that you probably already maxed out on the referral benefits, but either way, thank you!!
Thanks so much for using my link! I hadn’t yet maxed out the referrals so it’s much appreciated. As for calling the casino host for comps at the end of your stay, you won’t be able to get comped what you paid to amex travel for the FHR booking. However you can get your resort fees comped as well as anything charged to your room during your stay, excluding tips. All comps will depend on how much you play there during your trip.
@@TangerineTravels Hey! THANKS for posting great content! That's awesome man!! I'm glad I was able to give back to you in some way ;) Awesome man, that's good to know! I'm guessing that's the amount that I need to pay directly to the hotel once I check in. I'm staying at palazzo, then crockfords, then encore, then crockfords again (that $125 f&b tho lol), then bellagio (spread across 9 days). Just booking different hotels to utilize the FHR amenities LOL....
I use the same hack. The best... Plus the 125.00 credit
What varient of the platinum do you have ?
Hi guys, I enjoy your channel. Quick question for you... If my wife and I each use a myVegas comp room reward at Aria on consecutive nights will they make us check out and check back in at the front desk? Will they make us change rooms too? Your thoughts/comments on this would be appreciated. Thanks
Just tell them about both reservations at checkin and they'll try to keep you in the same room for the duration of your stay. You'll have to go down and get new keys on the day that the first reservation ends.
The candy tangerine man
Which hotel is the most welcoming and the newest out of all of them/well-maintained? I am a non-smoker.
The newest are Resorts World and Circa. I feel like a lot of the strip hotels are very welcoming. My favorite high end hotels are Conrad, Encore, and Cosmopolitan. If you can't be around any cigarette smoke, I'd recommend Park MGM/Nomad because that's the only non-smoking hotel on the Strip.
Jimador isn't a bad tequila at all, but I'd agree for such a high end, you'd probably expect better.
Can I get the room upgrade with my Amex delta platinum card?
I stayed at Conrad, it was great, also got upgraded to the same suite due to Hilton Gold status. I dont like the casino though, blackjack pays 6:5. Also yeah the location sucks, but parking is free so…
Really? I’m surprised Hilton Gold got you a suite! That’s cool though! I thought it could get you an upgrade to like a strip view or high floor but not a suite?
I watch your channel, btw. Good stuff 👍
@@TangerineTravels i was surprised i got a suite, it was in winter so maybe low season. I watched a load of your Vegas videos preparing for my trip haha
Too bad we managed to do just a ride through Vegas! We had a bike problem and skipped a day to solve it 😕 anyway those 5 star hotels are waaaaay above our travel budget 😅 nice review tho 👍
Lots of good tips! Thanks!!
Thank you so much for the tips. Great video as always. Love from London uk 🇬🇧
Thanks for watching!
That's a nice ass room, I don't see what the problem is because I'm a seven star player and that room looks better than all the rooms I have ever gotten
Brilliant hack!! My wife and I are diamond+ at Caesar's and now that MGM has a tier match this is a spectacular hack!!! THANK YOU!! We have lived on the strip for 6 months last year and will probably do it again after we are are done with a ridiculous 7 month world tour vacation here in June. Worth mentioning, we went to Caesar's Dubai on the free perk for getting to that status and it was crazy!! We will start a travel channel soon under Team Wintin and showcase that perk and our own Vegas hacks. We love your channel and hopefully we will see you someday in Vegas. Keep up the great work!!
(if you want our favorite Vegas hack message me)
Hey Jordan, have you tried the $20 tip trick when checking in?
I have many times but I've stopped doing it since it hasn't worked in a long time.
Cool video
Thanks!
We stayed at Aria June 2021 and it was terrible. The carpet was filty, stained and sticky. The pad that runs the room was broken. We complained and was given a "sorry not sorry". And we were charged $25.00 for a water every day even though we didn't touch it.
i love these videos much appreciate u.. but why are u guys in vegas ?
Thanks for the AMEX tip , I never use that
But I guess you have the Amex platinum of the USA righ? i try to get that one and was impossible, The mexican one is impossible to pay for I have the gold one (bummer)
That's Insane! Free food - 2 drinks a suite for like $120! Sure u spend $600 but switch hotels every day with late check out is a breeze!
These food and beverage credits. Do you have to use them in one go, or can you just charge all your meals to your room and they deduct whatever the credit is off the total. Thanks
You just charge all of your meals to your room. It doesn't have to all be used at the same time
If you are a Hilton Gold you do not pay resort fee right?
Gen pop? 👮♂️ woah
This was great, thanks. I've been hoping to get to Vegas, all of my fave celebrities keep cancelling. I really appreciate your financial explanations. Have fun!
I didn't hear you say in this video how much the resort fee actually is at this Conrad.
