      I did hear her mention tables once after watching it again. I am very curious about ETG play, like bubble craps, which earns no tier credits.

      @@swimwsu76slots earn the best comps as they have the biggest house edge, this keeps people from just placing $100 on red and $100 on black and spamming spin for 4 hours. You would think wow I just bet $200 a spin for hours! But you might only be down $1,000 from the green zero vs being down possibly $50,000 on slots

    NICE! Yes, I always book directly through the resort and make sure you charge all of your in casino meals to your room. A host can comp those, if you play enough. If you're not charging to the room, they cannot give you those perks. I don't think I play that much money through, but I will put in a lot of hours playing. I have been getting free room offers for years doing this. I also sign up for slot tournaments and that also connects you to other offers that casinos may be giving, but only to those tournament players. Hey, you may get lucky and win too. I've wond 2K in free play before, and that can turn into real cash fast,
    Good luck out there to all of you!

      My only question is this. How would one put together a 1-5 year game plan to efficently maximize comps and to level up each tier so that you're maximizing your entertainment? I don’t require any special treatment. Years ago the system was different, my Hosts were amazing but since the players clubs were introduced, the system has changed. The one thing I will never do is pay for a room which I haven’t done in over 40 years. Thank you for this video,I hope the people who have questions watch this. Sue

    Great insight! I haven’t seen any other CZcams personality do this yet. If you do a Part 2, there’s three questions I’d like to have answered. 1. My wife and I have our cards linked. We make Platinum each year in about three trips. Would it be better if we were both Gold instead on one Platinum? 2. I always use a marketing executive to book our stays. Ironically here name is Tara too and works at Mandalay Bay. We really like her and she does a great job with taking care of our trips. We’ve had hosts reach out to us, but keep booking with the marketing executive. Would booking with a host be better for us? 3. I typically stay Monday through Thursday and used to get a midweek bonus of $500 in freeplay. That midweek freeplay hasn’t been available to me in the past two trips. Is that bonus gone for everyone, or just some people like me? Thanks so much! I think you found a good niche with this !

    • @DestinationJackpot
      @DestinationJackpot  Před 3 měsíci +1

      Those are great questions I will sure ask those in part 2. I will say as far as gold versus platinum. I would look at the perks for each level and see if that is worth it for you, and which one you will get most benefit from like my husband and I play Golden Nugget we each get chairman instead of getting up to the highest tier, because that is a better benefit for us.

    I have been playing and losing, trying the different bank building games but not working yet for me. However, after another losing session and sitting at a machine playing my last few dollars, a host approached me and introduced herself. She knew my name and had been watching my betting activity and I received my first two comps on my losing session! I knew I would be back and next time will be the time I start being successful or lucky. It was a pleasant experience being treated nice instead of the loser I felt like and I left there happier and full of a comp steak dinner and a free hotel room waiting for me when I return.

      @@DestinationJackpot You are right. I am at the lowest tier level at MGM. To get noticed and treated special, when I have the lowest players card tier level there, that is saying alot to have the attention of a host and not seeking them out, but rather the host came right to the machine I was playing and introduced themselves and I have her direct phone number to contact her. She texted me after I arrived home also and requested that I let her know when I come back. I am not a gold or platinum or pearl member. I am at the lowest tier level a player can start at. And I got noticed by a host. First time ever in my life. You are right. I won attention and a couple comps. I want a jackpot. I want to know what it feels like to win big. I know it is coming. I recall one trip when I went alone, and I had hit a $4k Royal Flush jackpot my 1st 10 minutes after check-in. I started drinking and played about 16 hours with only bathroom breaks. At around hour 17, A host came to me, introduced herself, and suggested I take a break and get a free meal, or something (At that point, I was down about $3500 of the earlier win) - I played the credits off the machine, went and ate the comped meal, and called it a night. I thought it was a good thing that the host intercepted what could have been a painful night, since I was cratering....I always like it when a host finds me, and pays a quick visit.

    I can rationalize comps and free play as a rebate on losses. I get massage, golf, buffets, concert tix, rooms. Smart players can come out close to even every year with a great relationship with a host.. They will trade your cash for services all day long. Soft comps are company owned services and easier to get, Hard comp is anything other like Taylor Swift concert, raiders game not in owned suite etc...you gotta lose a ton to get a hard comp.

    Shannon, in the tier credits section. You mention earning 3,000 TC a day is good and the host confirms. Then the host says for room comps they are looking for a THEO of 1,500 a day. Did she mean 1,500 TC a day? Because she mentions THEO is TC earned times 12%. That would be 12,500 TC a day to hit 1,500 THEO. Appreciate the clarification.

    And always remember to see if your card is being read. I have noticed, (a bit late) that when you hit a bonus and you are getting more free spins, the machine will stop reading your card if that "spin" button is idle, by not being hit by the player.

    makes sense. spending all day playing penny slots for 88 cents a spin with $1,000 gives you more comps than 3 minutes for 10 spins at $100 but if you spent 4 hours with $10,000 at $50 per spin you'd get even more comps.

    Trying to play the game so the value my "free" room, comps, match play etc arent too much less than my losses. I enjoy gambling and casino living, but I'm not going to lose too much more than the retail cost of those things trying to get them for "free." So I'm never going to be a high roller and that's fine with me, but oddly enough if you hit the tier credit multiplier days and take advantage of offers it's really not that hard to get decent rewards without losing too much. Well on my way to Diamond Elite at Caesars and almost 60% of my tier points have come from matching points or the multipliers.

    Gold status is to hard to reach now without making many trips out over the course of a year and losing a lot of money. It used to be more obtainable but unless you come often, pearl is about only status that most people will reach. A video on what extras you can get and how to get them with one status below gold (or its equivalent at other chains) might be interesting. In other words, can you push to get some additional credits at check out with pearl status even without an assigned host? A guide on how to do that would be interesting as it will be applicable to way more people than those with gold status (or higher) and a personal host.

      @@DestinationJackpot Thanks that would be great. Also to clarify I meant a player who is pearl status (or its equivalent) but maybe on given trip(s) is playing at a good level. I have heard you still can maybe get some additional amounts off your bill. But guidance on how to do this? What to ask for? Who to approach to get the most off? How much can you possibly get off depending on play on that given trip even though you are not gold tier? This is going to include the majority of players since they have now made gold and above so hard to achieve. I actually don't think it reasonable to get to this level anymore unless you are regularly using a tie in credit card and/or are coming out to Vegas many times over the course of the year.
