Voltage tester ➡ amzn.to/4bIhLfz - Put the dial on the V with the squiggly line to the right of the off. Then put the black wire into the bottom part of the wall socket. If it struggles to stay push it using the plastic of the black wire connect to hold in place. Then use one hand to hold the end of the red wire (metal tip) and tich the other hand on the sheet or mat. Hope this helps.
I found that the earthing worked through a fitted sheet for my grounding sheet if my bare skin was touching but not if clothed skin was touching. My pillow case may be redundant. But I use it in the office chair next to my bed. If I'm wearing clothes, I tuck the earthing pillowcase under my shirt against my skin. I am sleeping better.

I have reaindgs over 3Volt w/o the mat and then drops to 0.07-8 with. is 3Volts high ?? Your readings of 0.6v w/o the mat seems very low already !!
Would you please share a video checking the voltage after you washed the sheet? Mine is no longer working after I washed it, despite following the instructions to do it by hand, using cold water, no wringing, and drying on a line. I don't feel the effects I did the first few nights when I slept on it, waking up more refreshed. Thank you in advance.

Does this work against the toxic environment, and exposures to the soil,air ,water,and chemicals,or are we subjected and are not able to improve, even with grounding,. My son grounds,but said it cant overcome the poisons with grounding

Why didn't the display remain at zero when you removed your hand from the grounding sheet? Where is the voltage coming from? You can't be grounded 24/7.

do you get connected even through your pajamas? or do you need to have skin contact?
You do ideally want some part of your skin to touch it.
so your only benefitting by being grounded, once you remove yourself your not getting any benefits. so if benefits are gleaned, do you have to use the mat for a period of time?
Was just reading this: Some say that the benefits of grounding, or earthing, can last even after you get off the mat. Grounding is the idea that the human body can benefit from direct contact with the earth's surface. Some say that sustained contact with the earth can lead to sustained benefits, and others say that grounding can create a sense of calm and well-being for the body and mind.
Just out of curiosity. Would we get fried if lightning struck our house or somewhere very nearby?
Just saw a video that they recommend you unplug it before and/or during a storm. Lightning will mess you up.

That I a, not sure. This is new for me, so I am still learning. You will get benefits of this sheet as I feel it has helped improve my sleep.
no, not necessary. the pillowcases are a scam if you have a grounding bedsheet already and they are very uncomfortable on your face.
as long as you touch the grounding bedsheet with any part of your body, you will have full grounding benefits.

Do you have an adapter to fit in the wall for the black wire? We tried ours and it doesn't move when we touch the red with our fingers. When we touch the red to the black output it does show voltage.
I did not have any adapter when I recorded and also use it.
@@SidsTips We just bought a meter but I'm not seeing any change with the mat going to zero. Are you touching the red wire to the mat and then standing on it? I don't see where the red wire is. Thanks.
@@user-mj9gz5yw8y I am touching the metal of the red tip and then the other hand touching the mat. Make sure the black connector is plugged in.

My outlets arent reading any ground so i just shoved the ground with a big giant steel timber nail and copper coil for now. Another issue to fix
Can you lay in the yard for the same results? My outlets aren’t grounded. The house was built in 1965

The device? You need to turn the dial to the setting which should turn it on.

@@Khufuuuuu there is no power switch. Once it is plugged in the socket it should be working
I was wondering the same. You mean the socket switch in the wall. Does that need to be turned on?.
@@M77111 yep. I understand in some countries their power sockets do not have an on or off switch. But in my country, we do. So I’m not sure if the socket needs to be turned on to enable the connection to the Ground.
My grounding well mat INCREASED my voltage when i tested it. Whats goin on?
1. don't use the wall outlet together with any appliances. use it only for the mat.
2. if problem persists, check if your ground point in the wall outlet has true ground (ie. properly connected to a grounding rod).
@@1_D333 thank you. I did both those things. I bought an outlet checker from home depot and it said my outlets were properly grounded. I contacted customer support and they asked for me to make a video showing my result. So I will do that and see what they say. Im trying to maybe try a new multimeter. I just dont know which one to get. I have a klein tools one and I measure in AC but it is measured at the 200v setting because my unit doesnt have an option for low voltage AC .

Just read this: Grounding mats are designed to protect workers from AC induction, but they may not be effective during lightning strikes. Lightning can create over-voltage conditions that are more difficult to control than AC faults because of their high frequency content. As a general lightning safety precaution, it's recommended to unplug grounding mats and other earthing devices during thunderstorms.

Yes you can
I have 2 white cables and 2 snaps on grounding sheet. Common sense tells me to use both cables. Im trying to trouble shoot my problems. Don’t I use both cables to connect to both snaps on grounding sheets. In the videos i only see one being used.
I am told you only need 1 , so choose either snap and use 1 of the cables for that.

@@SidsTipsI I also just placed an order for the same volt meter through your link. It will be here in about a week. I didn’t really want to pay over 40.00 for one but I felt it necessary to help me trouble shoot why mine doesn’t seem to work.
Chronic pain and severe chronic insomnia.
I see some people with even worse symptoms and challenges get great result. I should get some good results as well. I have great self help skills and utilize medical and mental health support as well. I’m determined to benefit from this investment. I had made a purchase of both the sheet and the pad and now a volt meter . It’s all adding up to be costly for no benefit.

@@SidsTipsdid just as you explained here. Not touching the fabric meter reads avg 3.68v. Touching the mat it jumps to avg 4.14v. Ideas
Just went out and bought this multimeter. The black chord that goes into my socket is too big. What do I do now ? Do I need a different multimeter?
@@thecolorteal5469 You are probably not going to be able to get the black plastic part in the the hold, so you will just want to have the metal end in there and will have to put it on an angle to stay.
