I adore silk scarves, I’ve been wearing them for forty years, trending or not. I learned this from my two beautiful French colleagues, studying how they looked so fabulous. Silk scarves always classy-looking and I love French-style, too. Most of my clothes are solid-color items, so a silk scarf is how I love to add pattern and a bit more color. They also add elegance, softness and femIninity, what’s not to love? I also need the skin protection on my neck when wearing wool and cashmere sweaters in cool weather. Loved it! I have worn scarfs from university days forward. French women have always worn scarfs; as we age, it is a great tool for adding elegance and covering up the neck which generally does not age well. Great job!

One of your best! Thank you. Saw a comment below - yes scarves are the best way to get prints into a wardrobe. They last almost forever. And you can usually replace a beloved scarf especially from Etsy and Ebay, I've found some replacements from the 90s - prints with an ivory background that's still light ivory - they look brand new.
All these tie ways were new to me and I like each of them very much! But I think it may be tricky to achieve if you are in a hurry. It requires a lot of practice!☺️

Every time I wear a silk scarf I get a compliment on my outfit! It never fails, they’re inherently elegant. I don’t need more reasons than that to love them, but there are many others reasons why I do. For me, it has to be mulberry silk, I’m to allergic to polyester. But, they are available at different price points, even Amazon has some nice ones. I got a top favorite there, a black and gold baroque print, it’s amazing, it looks like it’s from my favorite scarf brand, D&G.

I would enjoy a video on how to tie scarves in ways that are becoming for women with somewhat larger bustline and short necks. These are all pretty but would look ghastly with my neckline.

I'm wearing one now. One of my favorite ways to tie one:
Lay it on a bed. Fold each corner so it touches the very center of the scarf. Now fold each half.
Put the center on your neck and loop around your neck. Tie in front.
These knots are brilliant and so unusual. She makes them look easy, but I would need a lot of practice. I always wear my Hermès scarves the same old simple way. Time to get of my rut. 2024-04-05, Burlington ON Canada.
